I had originally scheduled with Hannah but unfortunately, she got sick and they had to cancel my appointment. They were super kind and apologetic about it and offered me another appointment the next day with another available hairstylist. They also honored the original quoted price. For example, Hannah charges $40 for a haircut, while the other stylist charges $50, they kept the price as $40. My new hairstylist was Dennise. I was attended to quickly and she sat down and had a conversation with me about what exactly I wanted and my past experiences. Honestly every time I have gone to a salon in the past few years, I leave disappointed. Last haircut I got was about 2 months before this one and they didn't cut it short enough or add any layers like I asked. It cost $150 and I was very unhappy with it. I showed Dennise some reference photos and she gave me suggestions and a walk through on what we could do to achieve what I wanted so that I wouldn't be surprised by anything. Unfortunately the picture I took with my new haircut doesn't really get the back of it so it doesn't do it justice. She did cut my hair slightly different because my natural hair is more to the curly side so she took shrinkage into consideration (and I wanted bangs). But my hair looked amazing! I honestly think I found myself a new permanent salon. I could not recommend them enough. I also saw them do a vibrant purple color on someone and it looked fantastic!!

My daughter is devastated and now walking around like this for holidays and I'm pretty disturbed we were charged $150 for a few highlights, this disaster in the back, and a trim that took 10 minutes of actual hair cutting. I'm happy to call you after I wake up at 9pm or before I wind down to go to sleep before 8am if you'd like, but out of consideration, I avoided calling you during inconvenient times. I've never cancelled an appointment that I can recall, so I would be interested in the date that I cancelled. If I did, which I find hard to believe, it was definitely with more than reasonable notice. It's comparing apples to oranges, though. I'm sure you could easily fill the spot I cancelled. I can't call and make another appointment with a few hours notice. I'm sorry that those things happened but ultimately, I was unable to get my hair done over many months with your salon. It would have been stellar customer service to try to accomodate me after cancelling on me twice without me having to wait another two months (which would have been a total of four months since my original appointment) or at least offered me some compensation before I wrote a review. The fact that you didn't isn't necessarily a terrible thing, I just have no incentive to make an appointment when I have zero confidence it will actually be kept.

They're pretty efficient and friendly enough. Only complaint would be that sometimes they are closed despite business hours saying they'd be open. Much cheaper and better than places like Great Clips.
