I have used this company twice and I am very satisfied. The first time using their service a big football player looking dude arrived alone. I had a large amount of debris, but my main concern was the cast iron tub on the second floor of my home. Nick, the big football player dude, cleaned out the debris by himself very quick. I thought he was going to call for backup to grab the cast iron tub because it is a four man job. Nope, this dude bear hugged the monster tub and dragged it down the steps with ease. I was stunned. This tub was at least 300 hundred pounds. This guy should be playing football, crazy crazy crazy. The second time I used their service Nick and his crew arrived in less than 15 minutes after I called. They came on New Years Eve and nocked out the task. They do a great job and are a great price. HOLY MOLY these guys were AMAZING!! Yesterday, I got a call from the City of Austin that one of my rental properties had been abandoned. I had no idea that my tenants just decided they couldn't afford rent and so they just up and left. They left old furniture, old appliances, tons of trash, etc. It was a very disheartening scene, and I knew I couldn't handle it on my own. I called Rubbish Inc and they were able to come out the very next day. For LESS than the price of a dumpster delivery quote from another company, they brought a 20-cubic-yard dump truck and two men to do all the work for me. The whole house took them two hours. I've used trash removal services a couple of times and this one surpasses them all. This one has real people answering the phone, which is huge for me, they are super friendly and they were able to schedule me right away. In my experience, most of these companies have answering machines, don't return calls, and book really far out in order to combine stops. I wanted a large shed demolished in a somewhat difficult to access location behind my house. There were nearby obstacles that complicated the job - trees, a wooden porch, a canvas awning. Inside the shed were an electric line, gas and water lines that they had to deal with. JD and his crew demolished the shed mostly by hand, taking care not to cause collateral damage. We had purchased a bagster and quickly realized that we needed a LOT more space. With Rubbish Inc's help, we got our rental scheduled and the friendly representative who dropped off our unit kindly hoisted our fully loaded and heavy bagster into the dumpster before departing. An extremely customer-oriented business. Josh (who coordinated the rental) and Todd (who delivered the dumpster) both were remarkably courteous, accommodating, and able. Todd was very punctual with the drop-off and did us a huge favor partway through our work, moving the pod so we could load debris from another side of the building. Both went the extra mile and helped us out immensely. My theater will definitely do business again with them. I called them to have them remove one thing, a small sectional that my dog destroyed. I was willing to pay the normal fee people pay for multiple things to be removed (over $100). The guy called me back next day and told me it would only be about $60 since it was one thing and they could do it same day. His next question was "where are you located?" And when I told him 620 and 2222 he nearly hung up on me. He told me he would need to calculate how far it was from the office (22 miles, I googled it) and he would call me back. This was maybe 2 weeks ago now. I guess they didn't want my easy business! Don't advertise you pickup junk in all parts of Austin and the surrounding area of you're NOT going to do it. I took a chance on these guys after seeing something on the internet and was very impressed with their speedy communication from the start. We had a bunch of junk in our garage and tool shed along with some old construction debris that was beginning to become a home for bugs and varmints. The two guys showed up early to haul off remaining stuff from a duplex demo, but I was caught in Round Rock at IKEA (C minus---customer service) and was quite late getting to the job site. I am doing a kitchen renovation, and my designer suggested I enlist my sons for the demolition to save money and then call Rubbish Inc to come take away the mess. This was all a little overwhelming to me, but she gave me excellent advice.
