I needed a very small lesion removed and was charged an unbelievable amount for a few minutes of work. Ridiculous.

It took eight hours to get A to get my mother there on Sunday. The nursing staff stinks the CNA's stink. They're cruel to their patients. They're rude to the families. they don't care about anybody or anything. All they want is the money for Medicare they don't care about their patience. I totally would not put my cat there if she needed to go to rehab.

My brother is not incontinent but was kept in a brief again and again. Staff told him to "just go" and we will clean you later. Despite the family continuously asking he be dressed and brought to the bathroom - he was always in a brief. He was dressed over a Johnnie - dressed in pajamas to go to appointments and call bells went unanswered. They are supposed to supply rides to doctors appointments but the company they contract with do not show up. The family had to transport to appointments. When he got P.T. the people were pleasant but he did not get it as often as he was supposed to. His nurses were nice but there is not enough staff. After a late appointment, (he is in a wheelchair) we had to move him back inside ourselves because there was one aid for the entire floor. It took two days and multiple requests from his doctors to get records from Touchpoint. I would not choose to bring family here - he cannot advocate for himself, and if it weren't for an involved family, it would have been mush worse.

Suddenly he was whisked away to anesthesia and put under. Two hours later not one Dr had informed him or his wife of what they had done or if the stone was removed ,broken ,or still there. The Urologists had gone home after the procedure and was no where to be found. Apparently no one knew what had happened. This incompetence continued throughout the entire day while my son was left bleeding and in the dark about his own body and what had or hadn't happened to it. Resulting in another night of pain medications and an extra day and night at the hospital. It wasn't until the second morning a full day after his surgery, through the help of a "patient advocate" that the almighty Urologist finally arrived to explain that the procedure was a failure and he would have to return in two weeks. ALL THIS FOR A KIDNEY STONE ! Have you ever heard anything so ridiculous,or incompetent in your life. ?? At one point he was even told he could just go home. My God what has happened to hospitals? The place where we are supposed to get the best of care when we're in the worst of shape. ? I'm completely shocked .While he claimed all the nurses were wonderful how on earth do you leave a patient after surgery without a clue as to the outcome.? I'm sorry but this hospital gets a COMPLETE FAIL in my book. That urologist should loose his license at the very least .
