I have had many Shiatsu massages ....they are a very deep massaging and never had any issues. She was so painful on me. I have never experienced that in a deep tissue or Shiatsu massage. It was more of a stabbing pain. I don't think she knew where any of the pressure points were or how to properly do the deep massage .This was the first time I ever had to say "thats painful." durning a massage.That was a massage pain I have never experienced . It did not feel like an experienced or professional massage. She did go a little lighter, and that was better...., but.... then I noticed that after the first 30 min . She was massaging me so lightly I could not even feel it...... I paid for 1 hour.. She skipped my forearms and most of the frontal area. People kept coming in the front door and she would stop massaging me and go to the front door and greet them.That was getting annoying a couple of times (7) . Now, I've gone both ways on having prescriptions and trying natural ways; and, really, it's a personal choice and may not be for everyone but I did buy some valerian root, steeped it in a green tea and I'm sleeping like a baby - I also bought some witch hazel for the medicine cabinet as well. The woman working there was very helpful and very nice - she gave us some free samples of stuff which is great for people who have no idea what they are walking into... This isn't Walgreens but a nice alternative to trying a more natural approach!
