She took the time to fit me in on today on Sunday at 1:30pm, and to make even better for me she was able to see me a lot earlier than my schedule time! How amazing! I walked in to this salon on the first day of reopening after COVID closing. They were very well prepared for safe handling of customers. They are limiting their intake to appointments only. I spent over 2 hours and paid way more than my usual place. My nails are uneven, have streaks and need filling around sides after applying clear coat. Had to tell her several times she had my nail glued down to my skin. I ask for my toenails to be shorter and still didn't get what I wanted. Went back and manager fixed the left set of toes and my finger nails. Right side acrylic fell off now. I figured out she didn't attach it to whole nail rather just the tip of it. I decided to stop in here last week for the first time. I never realized selecting a new nail salon could be so nerve wracking. It looked like they are under new management and was running a grand opening special on their services. I walked in and knew instantly I didn't like the vibe that hit me. A lady asked me to sign in on an iPad. Anna took me, sat me down, and showed me some color selections. She even took the time to help me decide on one. I was impressed with the size of their color inventory. I liked Anna and have no complaints about her or her work. Extra star is for her. What will keep me from coming back is the constant unprofessional chit chatting among the staff with each other in their native language. The main one seemed to be the new owner. I know their non-Asian customers could not appreciate this. I don't like it myself. When I went to go check out, no one wanted to stop their work to take my payment and there was not a receptionist. Found this place recently and for my first experience, i'd say it was pretty awesome! i was welcomed nicely and got service quick.. They have any design you could imagine!! butterflies, flowers, glitter, iridescent foil, marble, chrome, ombré and the list goes on! They have clear tips as well!! They know how to recreate a picture PERFECTLY and the techniques used are very efficient. I've never gotten my cuticles and excess product trim/cut off and i was so happy they did that because i hate having to do so at home. The pedicures are done in a timely manner and the massage is soothing *almost fell asleep* lol... she shaped them how i like and cleanly polished them! Walked in and they just stared at me. Okay job, she kept picking at my cuticles and i started bleeding one my thumb & middle finger. Very bumpy and uneven surface but the staff is very organized. On my thumb she wiped the blood on my nail and didnt clean it off so now theres a blood smear. AND middle finger nail is slanted.. all for 50 bucks! Better than any other place i been to though. Tried to get my nails done here. No matter how much I called them to set an appointment they didn't answer the phone. I tried going on their site to schedule an appointment but they don't even have their nail survive as an option on their site. I've been here two times the first time I went it was a decent experience the lady was nice yet I was waiting in the parking lot for her to show up lol.. It says they open at 9:30... anyway the lady did a good job & charged me 45 for for ombré & a butterfly design plus shape.. which was Awesome! I came again for the second time this week. The first time I went I had a terrible experience. I had gotten cut on my finger really badly by the file, the nails were uneven and the lady did my nails the way she wanted. Absolutely unexceptionable. I had filled out the survey they texted me when I signed in and within about 10 minutes I got a text from the manager. I sent her pictures and she was horrified. She asked me to come in and I got my nails done by Naomi. She was amazing and did my nails perfectly. My stars reflect both of my experiences but hands down, Naomi deserves a 5 star rating. Stay away from the nail tech named Newton!!!!!! But let me give credit to Tom and Heidi. Those two are great and have been since I started going there a few months ago. But today I was seen by Newton and I've never had a worse experience with my nails or customer service. He is aggressive and rough. I'm not exaggerating....he hurt me 11 times (yes I counted). The first two times I just twitched because sometimes nail techs accidentally hurt you and I wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt. But he just kept filing my skin...not my nail and burning me with the drill. I said at least 4 times "You are hurting me!!!" And his responses took me by surprise: (1) "It's just you. Just pay attention to your show (I was watching my show on my phone) and don't look. You are just reacting to something I'm not doing;" (2) I've never had this issue with anyone before. I guarantee you;" (3) (he stopped the drill) "look at this. It's not even sharp. It's just you." To that I responded "how could you tell me it's just me?! It's my skin I know what I feel." (4) Sit straight and stop being so tense..." to which I said "I don't trust you because you have hurt me 7 times already." The last comment he said to me before I walked out was "I hurt you. You hurt me." On top of the actual pain and cuts, he was aggressive with my hands and fingers. I told Heidi (the owner) at the end that I never want him as a nail tech again. Sadly, I loved this place. I even referred my friend here who loved it also. But simply because this experience I'm not coming back. I'm angry about how he was as a person. Took no responsibility and blamed me every time. I've been getting my nails done consistently for several months and honestly, I think I need to take a break because I'm actually scared and somewhat traumatized by how painful it was. I've been going to this salon for two months now... service was usually good, my nails always came out the way i liked them, respectable people. Yesterday, I went in for a fill and pedicure and the service/environment was negative and very rude. I asked her to do what she did last time to my nails and she refused! She kept rushing me to wash my hands, she grabbed me by arm and pulled me out of my pedicure chair so she can start my nails and rushed those. She also did something I didnt like to my nails and she started yelling at me. I forgot her name but if you see a lady with short hair and glasses (both ladies w glasses are very rude) then walk out, the service will be HORRIBLE. I came to this nail salon to give it a try because of the pictures I saw on yelp. The customer service was great. They were very nice people who offered you a drink and ask you if the nails satisfy your standard. I got squoval dip powder ombré nails and it turn out to be very thick, French tip, and unevenly shaped. The pictures on yelp doesn't match the reality service. Please don't be fool by the pictures. Your nails are not going to come out like the nails in the pictures. read more
