My sister gave me a gift card for Ruby Nails, so I went in for a Signature Manicure and Pedicure on a Sunday afternoon. I called ahead to confirm they could squeeze me in, and within a minute, I had a text confirming an appointed time. They weren't that busy, but it was also within 2 hours of closing time on a Sunday. My tech did a fantastic job, and the music playing was soothing and not loud. I felt like I could fall asleep, I was so relaxed. While this place is farther from my house, I will keep them in my rotation for back-up options when I can't get into my usual spot in Walkers Point. I certainly recommend this business. read more

Gel manicure starting chipping after nine days. I didn't take issue with it thinking I did something to make them chip, though I don't work with my hands for my job or do anything extraordinary with my hands. I was told, by one of their nail techs, that gel polish lasts at least two weeks. With it chipping at nine days, I thought, well maybe the polish is old (?) , Booked another gel manicure, with a different nail tech. That was on a Monday. Four days later my nails started to chip. Again, doing nothing extraordinary with my hands. I called to ask how they would remedy the situation. They only offered to fix, at N/C the five nails that chipped. When the other nails with the "old" polish start chipping, I will have to go in to get the new polish on all of the nails. Then they'll remove the newer polish. That doesn't make sense to me. I was expecting a more customer friendly answer like, ""come in and we'll give you a complimentary manicure . We are sorry this happened." I have never complained about their past service. In fact I rated them highly in recent months. You have lost a customer and will not refer you in the future. read more

I would NOT recommend this nail location! Although the staff was very friendly at time of visit, my No Chip nail service significantly cracked and chipped after only 9 days. One nail broke off, another is chipped and all the other nails on both hands are cracked. I called to request that they would fix the poor quality service or remove the polish for me since they look horrible. They will not do anything because they only guarantee the service for 7 days! Ruby Nails salon is clean and appointment time was prompt but customer service ends there. I always get no-chip/gel pedicures. My nails grow slow so my pedicures last 4-6 weeks. The last no-chip pedicure I received the color faded in less than a week, this has never happened. They thought the polish could have been old and called it normal wear and tear. The salon would not repair/replace this polish at their cost. The cost of their pedicures are $60.00 plus $12.00 tip. THIS repeat customer will find a new salon that stands behind their customer and products. FYI you have NO choice but to tip in cash. read more

I came to Ruby Nails with a bridal part (8 of us) and it was phenomenal. They had a little sheet ready and waiting with each of our names so that they could just confirm our services. They let us have some time to choose our colors and then we were called back promptly to start out with our pedicures. The salon was nice and bright and clean. The woman who did my nails offered me a water, asked if I was comfortable and my preferences on cutting/shaping. The pedicure was great, the color itself was applied wonderfully. I went in a few days ago for a dip and tip and showed a picture of the popular pearly "glazed donut" hailey bieber nails. All of my friends know me for having long nails and when the guy started cutting my nails, he didn't even ask the length I wanted. They were way too short and I had spoken up about it twice, both times I was told, "No" or "They're fine." The picture I showed had pointed edges and I ended up with round nails. He also put glitter on my nails, which I did not ask for, was not in the picture I showed, and cost me an extra $10 that no one made me aware of. There was a bunch of junk underneath my nails that was not cleaned. I felt very disregarded as a customer paying them the entire time. I went back later that day to get them fixed and they would not fix the set for me so I asked for a refund. They were extremely rude to me the entire time I was there.
