About the friendly(est) dealership I've ever walked into. Not pushy at all, met the owner(s) and this on Christmas Eve day. Decent deal, nothing great but didn't feel like I got kick in the (you know what) the day after the deal. Found it funny (not really) that they were giving away 24 inch flat screen TV's "with every used car sold". Guess it depended on what the sale price was, as part of the deal I didn't get a TV cause the price was "so tight". Really a $100 TV was going to break the deal REALLY! I just hope they could return the TV's that they didn't give away for that little extra something in their pockets....that being said, I would return if ever in the market and they had what I wanted. UPDATE: NOT SURE WHAT HAPPENED TO THIS PLACE. Purchased a second vehicle from them and WILL NOT RETURN! Saw a couple things that needed taken care of and the service guy was all about "just making something work" instead of FIXING the items that the sales dude would be taken care of. Now keep in mind I've purchased 2 vehicles from them in a year and a half right. THE ONLY person that remembered me (including the owners) was the finance lady (she needs to find another job). The owners went from awesome to "whatever". WILL NOT RETURN, not looking for a butt kissing but don't need the 60's "we're loosing money on this one" BS. I'm shocked at the difference. read more

Ruda took my car in on very short notice for a repair, and the staff was very friendly, kept me in the loop about the status of my car, and charged a reasonable price for getting the vehicle fixed. I would not hesitate to do business with them again, and will tell my friends that this is the place to go for all their car needs. A+! read more

Friendly and low-pressure environment. My salesman, Wayne Thoman, dealt with me as I asked him to: negotiating a total price, no additions after we reached agreement and no "monthly payment" nonsense--just a total price. He's an experienced salesman and treated this woman buyer respectfully. He also seemed to be honest about the prices and dealer incentives. I felt I got a reasonable deal. There was a small problem with the car when I picked it up, and Ruda cheerfully repaired it for me. I would and have recommended them to friends. read more

The 2011 Highlander we purchased at Ruda had been advertised as having a 160 point certified inspection. This was a lie! The mechanics there do not know their mufflers from a hole in the wall! The brake pads were completely worn on one side, which only lasted a week. The battery was empty, so I asked them to replace. The fire barrier under the hood was replaced, but the previous fire barrier was ripped to shreds, soaked with water, and scattered around the engine compartment starting rust spots. The windshield washer fluid hose was unhooked and half empty. There was rodent damage under the engine cover which was not cleaned up, including wires chewed through. I changed the oil right away when I got home to find that they had replaced the synthetic oil filter with a standard filter, filled the oil with 7 quarts instead of 6.4, and the dipstick clearly showed that it was too full!!! They can't even perform a simple task! The engine air filter was replaced, but the cabin air filter was untouched since 2011. I talked to the mechanic about most of these problems, just to be brushed off. So, I asked the owner, Bill, about getting a significant amount taken from the price which was already $2500 more than an excellent KBB rating price. Reluctantly, he took off $1500 and threw in a new maintenance battery. Also, this was stated as being a garage kept, "close family friend" previous owner vehicle like every other vehicle we asked them about. Because this was a rare find with a 5000 lbs tow package and a factory installed hitch (which the mechanic didn't know), we bought it. But, I should warn anyone who doesn't work on their own vehicles to have a good mechanic look at your vehicle before purchase, and don't be nice to these salesmen who talk really sweet to you. They are crooks, and they drop you like a rock after the sale is complete... unless you are coming back and paying for more "certified" maintenance, which I will not recommend. I should also explain that I love Toyota, and that it is the only vehicle I will ever buy, but Ruda dealership is a disgrace to the Toyota name. Happy (and smart) shopping! read more

I bought my first "new" used car here, and I am glad I did. Car shopping wasn't something I was looking forward to at all since I was pretty attached to my old car, but they made the experience very positive. The salespeople do not pressure you at all, are friendly, and probably some of the nicest people I encountered while shopping for cars. When I took my new car home, they spent time going over it to ensure I knew how to use everything on it (keep in mind my previous vehicle was quite old so I didn't have all the latest gadgets). They also did some cosmetic work on my vehicle that was part of a toyota recall, and they got it done in what I thought was record time. I live in Madison, but the customer service was great so I definitely would consider bringing it back here for future service even though it is a bit of a drive. I highly recommend looking here for your next Toyota--after going to some of the Madison dealers, you'll notice a pretty big difference in customer service. They definitely care. read more

bought a 2006 toyota corolla from this dealership less than a month ago with a 50/50 warrenty, already had to take to shope to replace the mass air flow sensor also found out from the shop i took car to fix in town because check engine light stayed on and found out that the engine intake manifold gasket was bad, which should had been caught by the ruda toyota repair man before this car was ever sold. end of story is ruda said sorry but nothing they can do. but car and less then a month costs me $530.93, will not buy from ruda again and dont recommend. read more
