We discussed what I wanted done today, gave me a quote and got right to work. I decided to have the immediate leak fixed but we talked about what he would like to do to update the antique plumbing attached to a very old double cellar sink and fixtures. He updated the washing machine plumbing and he said he would send me an estimate for the rest of the work which I would love to have updated. I loved what he did and what he would like to see updated. He was done quicker than I expected and I said I would let him know about the further updating of demo of sink etc. He was wonderful and he made me feel like he really cared about what I was dealing with health wise with the old plumbing. Last week on Friday, called out a guy to look at a leaking hot water heater. He spent less than a couple minutes and saw that the tank was leaking, and unrepairable. He said he would put in a memo to the office who would then call me about price options with work to start as soon as Monday. Never got the call. Followed up with a voice message, and no callback. Had to pay $165 for the 'hour' just because he came out, and they would not attach it to the subsequent work. Now I know why. Never forget. Called up another plumber and someone came out the next day to inspect it, no charge, and the day after that, my water heater was completely replaced in under an hour. Definitely working with those guys again. Never dealing with Richard P Waltz again.
