Matt Nichols is the best oui lawyer around. He is experienced, an expert and is truly committed to…read morehis clients. He is successful in getting his clients the absolute best outcome possible, while guiding them to make life choices that support this. He has represented me many times on various cases, from oui charges to BMV Interlock issues and I have never been disappointed. His practice offers representation that is incomparable. Always straightforward, high quality representation.

I find it difficult to put into words the gratitude I feel towards Matt Nichols and Joanne. My…read morecase was not an easy one. I was facing substantial jail time, and the outlook seemed bleak. Matt agreed to meet with my wife an I on a cold Saturday and spent the better of 2.5hrs going over my case and the potential defense and outcome. This was my 4th lifetime DUI. As you know, so many questions come up as the case goes forward through the courts. Every single concern was answered promptly and thoroughly. As my case progressed, I realized that Matt believed in me. That made such a difference in my life. He played and plays such an important part in my life now that I'm proud to say that today, I'm not drinking and I've found the confidence I lost while in the throws of my addiction to alcohol. I owe him, my parents and my wife a heartfelt thank you. Here are the cliff notes: I was charged with a 4th lifetime DUI. Matt negotiated it down to a 1st DUI charge. If your situation is anything similar to mine, and you feel overwhelmed with nowhere to turn and every lawyer sounds the same, SPEAK TO MATT. God Bless Matt.

I was in a car accident a few years back while on vacation in Maine (a careless driver ran me off…read morethe road). It could have been a lot worse, but I did suffer a minor neck injury. I decided to pursue legal action and was referred to Terry Garmey & Associates by my brother-in-law, a lawyer in my home state. Overall the experience was fine - their staff was pleasant and professional. They went over all the details with me and we discussed the likely outcome of the case. They advised me throughout the process and we worked together to assemble the required records and paperwork. After the paperwork was in though, things became a bit more sticky. I basically just stopped hearing from them for huge spans of time. They would tell me to expect a response within 2-3 or 4-6 weeks, only for 5, 6, 7, or even 8 months to go by without word. This happened on several occasions - I had to contact them proactively for every update on my case until the very end. I understand that since my case was smaller, it was probably not at all a priority for their office. That's fine, but I wish there had been better communication and at least some follow up or acknowledgement that projected deadlines had been missed. Ultimately, they got me what I considered to be a fair settlement so I don't want to be overly negative, but I do feel that the whole process should likely have taken months at most, not years.
