I feel it's important to share our recent experience, not just as a warning, but as a reminder to trust your instincts and expect better from businesses--especially when making large purchases like a vehicle. From the very beginning, the salesman BRAILYN GUTIERREZ was condescending and dismissive. On our first visit, he made assumptions about our financial situation based solely on our appearance--making it out to seem as if we couldn't afford a vehicle without any prior knowledge or anything about us. This first interaction was offensive and unprofessional. Although this was our interaction we still continued to give the dealership the opportunity to work with us and we returned to finalize the purchase of two vehicles (2025 Chevy Suburban & 2025 Chevy 2500) BAILYN GUTIERREZ insisted on handling our sale even though we had explicitly already expressed our concerns that we didn't want to work with him and spoken to the manager. To avoid a long process my husband and I gave zero pushback on pricing or payments, yet we got a run around and Mr.Gutierrez wasn't transparent during the financing process and even made comments about the legitimacy of our business, saying we needed to "make the purchase look neater."That statement was not only insulting--it was inappropriate on every level and we provided legal documentation to shut down the claim Mr.Gutierrez made. We once again asked respectfully, and made our concerns known that we would not continue working with Mr.Gutierrez even communicated that clearly to his management. Our request was ignored. In fact, the disrespect continued where the finance manager went so far that he proceeded to scratch out the salesman's name on paperwork and write in another sales person's name--this clearly was just a tactic to "shut us up and get us out of the office." Now to make matters worst reflected on the official agreement was Mr.Gutierrez name proving that our request was ignored. This just goes to show the type of culture and values being upheld at this Rudolph Chevrolet. But what truly pushed this from disappointing to disturbing was discovering that after my initial HONEST review towards Rudolph Chevrolet they used staff to post reviews with fake 5-star reviews to drown out my legitimate customer review. As someone who relies on honest reviews when making major decisions, this is deeply troubling and deceptive. It's a clear attempt to manipulate public perception rather than take responsibility and improve. We spent a significant amount of money here--and left feeling disrespected, ignored, and misled. I will not be returning, and I strongly encourage others to proceed with caution. Don't let a polished showroom fool you into thinking you'll be treated fairly. You deserve honesty, respect, and transparency--especially when you're investing in something as important as a vehicle. Excellent service and great place to buy a car. Scott was extremely helpful and sold me on a car I wasn't even planning on getting. He worked out a great price and was super quick in explaining everything and getting me out the door with my car. I'm a Ford guy, but Rudolph Chevrolet had the best price on a car for me. Rudolph doesn't mark up their cars like other places do and this is a family owned company. The kids room is a huge plus for kids to play in also. After calling 2 other Chevrolet dealers about coming in to find out why my engine light was on and get it fixed, both of them had a reason why it would take weeks to get it diagnosed and repaired. I then called Rudolph Chevrolet and it took 2-3 days to not only diagnose the problem, but also get it fixed. Mike was really helpful and everyone I talked to was very nice and friendly. They are busy as well, but didn't put me off with excuses about timeframes. Even though this dealer is really far from where I live, I will go there anytime I need help with my car. Went to get my vehicle serviced: Oil Change, Tire Rotation, the works. Not only did they review the report with me, they SUGGESTED (not forced) the appropriate replacements that were needed (which all followed along the timeline of my manual). What an AMAZING place. Oscar in the service department is phenomenal. I came in on Saturday without an appointment and he informed me my tire (that had been flat forever) wasn't in stocks. He reached out to other centers and was able to secure me one by Monday. He personally called me when it arrived and I wasn't able to make it until Wednesday morning. Sadly I had forgotten HIS name when I arrived but remembered mine. His staff serviced by truck(again without an appointment) and I was out in less than an hour. I wasn't even late for work. I can tell you that the sales department severely lacks integrity. My experience was the worst I have ever dealt with in all my years of purchasing vehicles. I have to assume that they figured I would be ignorant, and I would not pay attention, or I would not see the numbers they flipped on the sales contract. Moving numbers from their purchase of my trade-in vehicle to the number of the vehicle I was purchasing was something I guess they get away with all the time. The guy that wrote up the contract had a blank face with nothing to say when I asked him where he got the numbers he wrote into the contract. Yes the total at the end of the contract for the vehicle was the same, but they can add more commission to their pockets by flipping the numbers. Shady dealerships do this all the time. Then I get a conference call where they apologized for making the mistake, and it was only because they said they were old. Just another way to insult my intelligence. After I asked for an itemized addendum to contract which outlined the upgrades I paid to have the dealership install (because they only had the total amount listed on the contract for all upgrades), I found that they had double charged me for mats. They acted like it was no big deal, and they cut me a check (minus the taxes that I had now paid twice.) So they took my approx 7 bucks in extra taxes, and they kept it in the purchase price if the vehicle. When I asked them about the taxes, they said "well it's only like 7 bucks, but the salesman can give that to you if you want." WTF??!! I could have cared less about the 7 bucks if they hadn't already tried to be completely dishonest with me from the start. Needless to say, they haven't gone out f their way to pay me the $7 in taxes that I paid twice. I could go into more issues, but I think this should provide enough red flags to anyone that is considering purchasing a vehicle there. Just pay extremely close attention to detail if you buy/trade there, or else they will take your hard earned money to line their fat pockets. Good Luck read more

Buyer beware! Do not shop here!. Worked with a salesman for five days. The salesman sent me the sticker told me it wouldn't be a penny over MSRP, told me shipping would be $600 to Dallas, said he would call and find out when the vehicle would be there and the deposit would be $1000 to hold it. Spoke to him every day for the next four days and on the fifth day when they found out when the vehicle will be there And I was ready to close a deal, they told me because I am Out of town, which they knew, they were adding $5000 dollars to the price and 1000 for the deposit. This is after I went and got approved by my bank for the vehicle. This is price gouging and bate and switch! The GM apologized and admitted it was their mistake yet would not honor the price we had been discussing for 5 days because he knows how much I wanted the car. I will be talking to the BBB as well as everyone and anyone I can. Update: now they say they will honor the original deal, but the vehicle is not available because the Original buyer that backed out decided he wanted it again. What it feels like to me is that I was lined up to purchase and the original guy decided he wants it again, so they tried to see if they could get another $5000 out of me, now that I said he'll no, they have it back to that guy, I could be wrong but it's a whole bunch of shady. read more

My husband and I had a great experience at Rudolph Chevrolet purchasing a new 2019 Traverse. We worked with Kenny Lopez the entire time and I highly recommend requesting him when you go in to purchase. He worked with us to get us exactly what we wanted and went above and beyond. He was a saint, we love our car, and I would 100% recommend Rudolph (more specifically Kenny) if you are in the market for a new car. We never felt pushed to make a decision on something we weren't comfortable with, and the entire buying process was quick and easy. We also worked with Tinny in F&I and again, he was fabulous. He didn't make us feel stupid for rejecting any add-ons, he didn't pressure us to get an additional sale, and he seemed genuinely excited for us to be getting our new family hauler. After the purchase, I walked over to service and ordered some custom parts to make sure this new family hauler looked as non-mom as it could and everyone in service and parts was super friendly, prompt, and helpful and I can't wait to black this mom mobile out. 10/10 for Rudolph and the entire staff we dealt with. If I could give no stars I would. This service department has had my car for 3 weeks and done absolutely nothing with it. This is the 3rd or 4th time they've had it... I've lost track. They don't give you updates unless you call to get information. They have totally dropped the ball in dealing with my issue. I didn't buy my zr2 from Rudolph...but you wouldn't know it by the way they bring you in as part of the Chevrolet family. I'm military, which means I'm Constantly on the move, when I got stationed in El Paso, I originally brought my truck to Rudolph for some Warranty work, but I didn't have my warranty Information on me. This wasn't a problem, as Oscar in the service department is the best in the game. Not only did he pull my warranty information for me instead of kicking the can down the road, he told me if I ever have any issues in the future to let him know, he's got all the information on file and he'll be glad to assist. Oscar is a man of his word, as ive since called for warranty and regular service work and Oscar has been top notch every step of the way. From the always cheerful receptionist, Alexa or Alexis I believe her name is, to Oscar, to the sodas and snacks, these guys make you feel like part of the family and not just another number. An hour and forty five minutes for an oil change and diesel fluid! To top that off the diesel fluid cost $52 plus the standard $105 a hour labor!!!! Oh but I got a complimentary car wash and got the truck back with my driver side door still dirty! For the cherry on top when I got in the truck it had been driven 4 miles. 4 miles! How do you drive 4 miles on a dealership! Needless to say I did not pay for labor. If this wasn't a company truck I'd be at the closest Jiffy Lube I could find. There's a reason those places are in business. Sure some people want certified work done but we're talking about an oil change. Even IF the oil filter was in a tricky place that should've taken 30 minutes. If not let me know dont make me sit there! There's a reason people call them "stealerships". I would have been able to overlook the dirty door but if you're going to take that long at least give the vehicle back clean or still dirty. If you're going to take that long at least apologize. I get it people have to make money but there has to be a line. I will make sure I find a different dealership to do my service. read more

I needed a dealer part on 10/26/16. I was very impressed with Rudolph Chevrolet's prompt service on the telephone, especially when compared to the long hold times and dropped calls I experienced trying to reach the parts department at Viva Chevrolet. The at least 30 minutes I had spent on the phone trying to get to the right people at Viva Chevrolet was starkly different from the insignificant delays throughout my telephone experience with Rudolph Chevrolet. The ~$12 fuse I needed was also a few cents less expensive at Rudolph Chevrolet when compared to Viva Chevrolet. I was promptly transferred to the parts department, who helped me identify the part I needed and confirmed that it was in stock. Only one of these parts, an 80 Amp Electric Power Steering fuse I needed for my 2006 Chevy Malibu Maxx, was present at the dealership, and so the parts representative was kind enough to hold it for me to make sure that my trip was worthwhile. When I arrived at Rudolph, I was quickly greeted by the customer service team who directed me to the parts department, where I was courteously and efficiently assisted by the parts desk, who had my fuse on hand. The cashier processed my payment quickly, and I was able to smoothly transition back to the rest of my day. I sincerely appreciate the dedication to customer service at Rudolph Chevrolet, and I look forward to continuing to bring my business there. Please keep up the excellent work. read more

Good overall experience at Rudolph Service Dept. I'm writing here as opposed to the Rudolph-provided review link (Reputation.com) because that website shows to be down at the moment. I took my 2010 Camaro for an oil change and battery purchase. I found coupons online for offer on the battery, however they were not honored by the cashiers. Admittedly, and not blaming the lady at the cashiers' desk, my smart-phone screen coupon was difficult to read and somewhat confusing. I was unable to print out the specs on the terminals at the waiting area as the wi-fi was down, with no internet access. So instead of having a drawn out discussion, and because I was in a hurry, I paid the full price and decided to call today. I spoke with my service advisor William Bissell, and he managed to clear up some questions I had about my invoice and the charges I paid. On the battery, he asked for a few minutes to get clarification, and said he would call me back. He did call back, promptly, and agreed my charge was incorrect. He was authorized to offer me a free oil change next time (not labor) as Rudolph's way of apologizing for the error. When asked if by chance he would not be around when I show up next time, he mentioned he documented the incident on my customer record screen so anyone could verify the complimentary oil change. Either that, or Mr. Gillette (Supervisor?) would confirm it. Kudos to Mr. Bissell on going above and beyond. And on whoever it was that approved the complimentary service. Nice to know good service is alive and well at some establishments, like Rudolph. As a suggestion, it might be a good idea to familiarize the cashiers on whatever offers are in effect, to avoid the customer the "burden of proof" and detract from an otherwise near-perfect team effort. DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE! I need to start by saying that I've tried to resolve these issues with Rudolph but getting someone to even call me back has been both difficult and exhausting. Where do I begin? I've been to this dealship several times before and one thing usually leads to another, but this time it was just too much. I'm currently living out of town and I occasionally drive into town to visit family. In the past I've taken my truck to get an oil change without issue. This time I brought in my '04 Avalanche with a list of problems, all issues that I was very specific about. A check engine light that was on, a fuel line problem that causes gas pumps to stop while refueling, the replacement of my shocks, an electrical issue that dims my dash lights at night, and a tailgate handle that needed to be replaced. First off, I arrived in town to leave my truck with plenty of time. I dropped it off on a Wednesday but no work was done on it until the following Tuesday. I know this because I called that Friday to get the status and was met with "We didn't think you needed it right away". That's a whole week of my truck sitting there and no work done. Mind you, I made an appointment for this work to be done. Next, all the issues I brought up were not resolved and led to other problems that cost me several thousands of dollars. Every single thing I had paid for ended up popping right back up on my 12 hour drive back home. For example, my engine light came back on a few hours into my drive. I'm also still am unable to pump gas without it stopping so whatever solenoid they replaced was pointless. I was able to resolve the engine light after I bought a new gas cap on my own. A $20 fix that clearly could have save me several hundred dollars from just that issue. Another issue that came up was a hub bearing come off during my drive. Nothing is more frightening than having 3 hours left on a drive while your wheel feels like it's going to come off. I was told that it had nothing to do with what was worked on and I would have to take it somewhere to get it fixed on my own. I ended having to leave my truck at a local dealership for another week, costing me another several hundred dollars. Next on the list were the dash board lights that continued to dim at night. I was told that a new battery would resolve this issue. It did not. And finally, the tailgate handle that was replaced ended up being a dud. I had to again take my truck to a local dealership to get the replacement part. Which ended up requiring an additional part that needed to be replaced. A latch. A latch that I had to order on my own and replace myself. I was told that I would get this part reimbursed by Rudolph for my troubles but have yet to see the reimbursement. That was 2 months ago. I've made multiple attempts to try and get this figured out but they're always too busy or don't care. So, if you decide to ignore my warning about this place and give them business, I hope it's just for an oil change. If they mess anything up, it'll take something short of devine intervention to get them to help you out. This was by far the worst experience I've had with any repair shops. read more

I had my first oil change done here and I wasn't satisfied. At the same I had my stereo looked but all they did was reflash (reset) the radio. It's just like giving someone Tylenol because they have a headache but they really have a wound. They didn't bother to troubleshoot... On the free oil change, I brought my own oil even though I was going to get it for free. There were oil spill all over my engine bay and it smells like burnt oil when I turn my A/C on. My 2017 Chevrolet Malibu was having problems with the electronic parking brake not releasing. I had previously brought the car in and the problems diagnosed and it was determined that the switch in the console was a contributing factor. I was notified that the replacement switch was available and a service appointment was made to come in and have it replaced. The service advisor, Mike, was very helpful and courteous. They did a great job repairing my Camaro a month and a half ago, after it suffered hail damage. I tried taking my car back last week, after a hit and run, but the woman who was supposed to set up my appointment, was never available. And when she was available, it sounded as if I she was being inconvenienced. After leaving her 5 voice-mail's, and her never getting back to me to let me know when my car could be repaired, I gave up trying, and decided to go with Hoy instead. Was on my way through town heading from the pacific ocean to the atlantic ocean. Somewhere outside of tucson the emissions check light came on. I called first thing and asked if while i headed through town they could take a look. Only i was dragging a 35' trailer with me. They said no problem they would just meet us outside. When we arrived the service writter i spoke with (Mike Dindinger) was with another customer so not too long after Oscar came out to take a look. We were up and running in 24 minutes. My car, a 2014 Chevy Spark, got totaled while I was visiting El Paso from Austin. I bought this car at the same Rudolph, so I thought, since I'd bought my previous car there, then I could maybe find a replacement there too. Lucky for me, I ran into my previous dealer: Daniel Vacio. I told him that I was really there to look and see if I could even afford to replace it. He found me a great 2014 Chevy Sonic. We talked about it, and he understood my situation, so we negotiated and I got a really great price for it, around the same price I was paying for my Spark. It was quick and easy, and a lot of stress saved. I'm almost considering driving back for my next car! read more

Eddie told me my battery was dead. I had replaced the battery a week previous. I told him that and he said he would not diagnose the pickup until I purchase a battery or provided him a new one. I then went and picked up the battery took it to the parts store and had it tested. I then brought it back to Eddie and told him that it tested good at the parts store. He said they were wrong. So I then took the battery to a different location of the same parts store and it tested good again. I brought it back to Eddie and he was reluctant to use my perfectly good brand new battery. This is 5 hours later after running around testing this battery twice. He still recommended I buy a new battery. Mind you I've told him the battery was a week old. The pickup had been at the dealership since 730 and by 5 it still wasn't diagnosed. I felt like I was being taken advantage of souly because I'm a woman and my husband is deployed. I will never be back or recommend this dealership to a single person. read more

I feel that my fuel level sensor on my 2009 Cobalt was damaged during the recall of the fuel pump, except the manager does not want to admit it. So, when I took it in to get the diagnostic done on it, they found three other things wrong with it and when I was leaving the dealership because I refused to have any more money spent on technicians that do not know what they are doing, my car broke down immediately after I started to drive off in the parking lot. Mind you, I did not need a tow truck to get my car to the dealership and my car was in good driving condition except for the fact that the fuel gauge is not marking the correct fuel level. So, I went in and asked Mike what the technician did to it, and he said, 'I know I didn't thing it was that bad, I barely made it to the parking lot.' And that's when I told him my car was not like that yesterday. So, he goes outside we pop the hood and we check it out and the technician did not put the air intake pipe back correctly which was causing my car to die out on me. So, when Mike slammed the air intake back into place, I looked at him and I told him what is to say that the technician didn't damage my fuel level sensor when switching out the fuel pump. Then he fed me some BS excuse of why it couldn't of been them. So, needless to say I am very dissatisfied with the service I was given for both when I got the recalls done as well as this time. read more
