He communicates clearly about how you can get different types of service most efficiently and lets you decide if that works for you. Also, I get my oil changes and routine items done here - it's a little less on-demand, but if I come in first thing in the morning, it's usually pretty quick. Sergio saved our trip! We will never forget the outstanding service he provided during one of the most stressful and uncertain moments we've ever experienced. Our car broke down on I-10 while crossing El Paso during our move from Los Angeles to San Antonio. We had our entire lives packed into that car and suddenly found ourselves stranded on the side of the freeway, not knowing what to do next. I am so grateful that the AAA tow truck brought us to this shop. Despite being extremely busy and having a full lot of vehicles waiting for service, Sergio took us in right away. Great service price and honest people , I recommend others to bring your car and save money I will update my experience with more details but at this point I will tell they saved me ton of money and told me the truth instead of lie and charge non necessary diagnostics as the brand service I used to visit every time , Coronado charged me very fair and no lies I will not lie to you , they are crowded and handle that 6 days waitlist is very painful , leave your car for 5-6 days just to get an estimate is a long wait as you will be forced to leave you with a car parked outside their business almost a week to get an answer , but they seems to honest and is the reason I will come back and recommend this place to many others, God bless this business read more

I was staying in El Paso for a night when I heard a really loud clacking coming from the front of my car. I was in a huge rush to find somebody who could look at my car since I had to drive to San Angelo the next day. They were very fast at getting me helped even though they were already swamped and took it for a test drive. The fix ended up being super simple. There was rubber from the inside of my car hitting my wheel and it just needed to be taken off. They did it super quick and didn't even charge me. I am new to El Paso and was needing to get my annual auto inspection. I drove by Resler Automotive and noticed how busy they were...a good sign! I called to inquire about state inspections and was told to arrive early due to the large customer base. The next day I arrived there early and was chatting with another customer. He said that he and his family had been bringing their vehicles to Resler Automotive for 30 years. [I obtained service on 10/26/16.] Resler Automotive was one of the three AAA-approved auto repair facilities near my residence in El Paso. The labor cost of $85/hr was very affordable, and the posted oil change price of $26.95 was as well. I came for a Texas safety inspection ($18.95 at Resler) and the replacement of a faulty Electric Power Steering (EPS) fuse on my 2006 Chevy Malibu. Resler Automotive provided me with an efficient resolution of both of these needs, as they made sure to perform them in the order that would allow for the fastest turnaround of my vehicle. The EPS fuse is a unique 80 Amp fuse on the Malibu, and had the shop replaced the fuse before the safety inspection, they let me know that it would have prevented me from passing the safety inspection as the fuse replacement would have reset the car's memory. I brought my own fuse, purchased from Rudolph Chevrolet; and Resler Automotive spent 10 minutes of labor to replace it, charging me $8.50. The fuse replacement fixed my EPS issue, and it was fantastic to get my power steering system back. I also needed a replacement wiper blade, and the Resler Automotive technician provided me with the single blade that I needed, a Rain-X 20' Wiper Blade, for $9.95. The technicians were also all very friendly and willing to explain their assessment of how to best address my needs. Based on what I could observe of their work in my situation, they also seem to be very capable mechanics. Another long-time customer of Resler Automotive was in the lobby when I arrived, and he said that, in his experience, Resler represents the most honest and capable auto repair facility on El Paso's west side. I certainly had such a positive experience during my recent visit, and I look forward to the opportunity to continue to benefit from Resler Automotive's compassion and expertise for any of my auto repair needs in the future. I needed to get a weird sound coming from the front of my car checked out. I told the tech that it was probably due to having the suspension & struts replaced earlier in the year at a local shop. I left the car with them & their driver took me home since the tech said it would take a while. I got a call back explaining that it was simply a loose swivel joint & that they had tightened it up for me free of charge! I went ahead & got my inspection sticker done & I was on my way. The best experience and customer service in any automotive shop. I can't express how great & professional these gentlemen conducted themselves with true expertise & knowledge. Terrible service. Don't bother coming in to this place. Out of 5 people working here (that I saw) 4 of them were completely incompetent, and not at all helpful. A guy named Isaac was sitting at the front desk and did not even acknowledge me as I walked in and didn't greet any other of the customers that came in as I sat there for an hour waiting for my car inspection to be done. Although there are some very good techs at Resler they can also rip you often. I brought Many of my own parts as to their request and had a young tech call and tell me one of the parts I brought was "wrong" although there were three opinions prior to the purchase of the particular part. They also kept the car much longer then they had promised and when i picked the car up the major service had not been done and one of the other services was also not necessary. The "wrong" part would have been the most labor intensive part of the job but I was given that part back along with two others. Instead of reducing the bill it was in fact 60% higher then the quote with no explanation and since an easy service was billed at close to 100.00 when I supplied the parts my business with Resler in the future will probably be oil changes only as the last service was ridiculous in cost. read more

First time going to Resler Automotive. My Toyota Tacoma would vibrate as I accelerated. I had previously taken it to another Automotive place and they said everything looked okay. I dropped off my Tacoma at Resler Automotive and they took the time to really inspect my truck. It turned out I needed a center carrier bearing and a center u joint. My Tacoma is driving awesome now! Price was very reasonable and now I found my go to place for vehicle maintenance and other vehicle needs. Art the manager of Resler Automotive was awesome, he took the time to explain to me the parts my truck needed and showed me the parts he removed. Great customer service! Very poor service, honestly, places like these make me feel bad of being a woman in need of a mechanic, thank God my dad took care of my jeep with his people, they took it saying it was the alternator and needed a new battery, and bc this place had good reviews i went for it, then later on in the day they call me to tell me it's the computer and cant do anything to it, that I should take it to the dealership... they wouldn't go the extra mile to really explain me what happened to the jeep, just that it was the computer, like , just told me to pick it up, of course I had to pay them labor, for putting parts that I didn't really need... , anyways, my point is that maybe these people know the basics and had help other people, which is good, but customer service wise, and trying to help the customer, at least it wasn't my case, again thank God for my Dad, but I feel bad for ladies that don't have someone to guide them in these situations and are ripped off, which could have been my case. read more

They did a great job getting us back on the road after vehicle would not start at fuel station. Wrecker dropped us off late in the day so we knew we would be staying in ElPaso for the night . We were told it might be two days before they could check it out but 2.5 hrs later they called and said they found the problem and we would be on the road the next morning. When we arrived the vehicle was running, paid a very reasonable bill and we were off for home. We all carry their card now since we go through El Paso multiple times a year. read more

I've been coming here for 2 years. Wouldn't think of going anywhere else in El Paso. Who cares about the car wash when it's FREE!! And, anyway, I was there just this weekend and they told me what was wrong with the car and what kind of antifreeze worked with my car and offered to fix it for me or have me buy the antifreeze on my own. I asked which way was cheaper, the mechanic said to buy it myself was half the price. He showed me how to do the fix myself and left me without charging a DIME! That's the 3rd time they've done that for me in 2 years. I've also be able to get my AC fixed and a bunch of other maintenance which they guarantee for up to 12 months. They have been very honest with me. Couldn't be happier. Only downside is we're moving soon and will have to find a new mechanic :( read more

Cannot say enough good things about Resler Automotive and its manager, Art Segura. I discovered this shop right after I moved to El Paso and received an old, broken-down car for free from a friend. After we got it running, I relied on Art to diagnose a host of issues, triage what really needed attention, and help figure out whether to invest in longer-term maintenance. On my very first visit, I met a talkative older woman who kept raving about how good they are, that she's been going there for 30 years, etc. I see where she's coming from. Art knows his stuff and is generous with his time and advice. I never felt pressured and he didn't upsell services. He charged less than he could have for diagnostic/shop time, and I left that first day having spent very little but with a much better understanding of my options. When I returned to get major maintenance done, they did it well and charged a reasonable price. Regarding a couple of the comments below, my understanding is that they used to be affiliated with the Chevron station next door, but are not any more. I believe (and I could be wrong) that the car wash is really the Chevron station's. read more

What an amazing group of people! I was driving from Los Angeles to San Antonio when my car broke down super early in the morning. My tow truck brought me to Resler Auto before they even opened. When Art opened the door he helped me right away. My car was not going to be functional to make it further down the road and I had to get to San Antonio that day. He allowed my car to stay in his lot until the following week when I was able to arrange transport of vehicle. I would call every other day to give him updates and he was always so pleasant. When my car finally was picked up he gave me a call to let me know. I was able to fix my problem easier because of the kindness and flexibility of Art and this auto shop. read more

I have used Resler Automotive for many year. I will NOT use them again, and either should you. I believe the quality has gone downhill, as has customer service. Poor work done on my car at Resler required major expenditure to fix. Of course, I didn't have the repair done at Resler. They not only charged me for the diagnosis, but never admitted that it was mechanic error. Plus, their estimate of repair was significantly higher than what I ended up paying at another nearby garage. Art, get back to doing right by your customers before it's too late! read more
