Dr. Bloink has been my dentist for about 12-15 years now and my hearts gonna break when he retires (he's young so hopefully I have some time). A few months ago I was having issues from having wisdom teeth removed and he called back before the oral surgeon, gave me reassurance and told me what to do if something happens before my appt. with the oral surgeon the following week. Truly a family doctor. The entire staff is kind, compassionate and knowledgeable. Answering all 1000 questions (I'm curious, what can I say) and giving me great (and reasonable) advice to care for my teeth. I would recommend him to my closet family and friends. I'd also like to note, his practice had a wonderful atmosphere. Soothing music played while they work on your teeth, not a speck of dust anywhere and an updated interior.

When the original owner sold the practice, I was cautious, but the new owner Dr. Ballani quickly proved himself trustworthy, and I was happy to stay on as a patient. Unbeknownst to me, he left fairly soon after, and Bloink now has a new primary dentist Dr. Kaur. I gave her a chance, and unfortunately it was the worst dental experience I've had. The drilling felt aggressive, the local anesthetic was applied carelessly and left a bad taste, and after I described the issue three times, she smoothed the wrong side of my tooth without even examining the area first -- leaving sharp edges on the correct side that now trap food more easily. I wasn't comfortable letting her attempt a fourth fix. As much as I've valued this practice over the years, I can't risk going through that experience again.

He didn't introduce himself, or even speak directly to me. He didn't answer any of my questions. He just said that he didn't have time to talk to me because he had other patients. The dental hygienist refused to provide numbing gel or a bite block. She finally applied the gel after the FIFTH time that I said she was hurting me and specifically asked for gel. My gums were so swollen when I got home that I couldn't eat, and my occlusal guard (for severe TMJ) didn't fit in my mouth at bedtime. I was at the office for 2 hours, and had x-rays done and a basic exam. I didn't even get a cleaning. This was a huge waste of time and energy at a place that doesn't care about their patients at all. I absolutely do not recommend. The office was good before Dr Zonder retired, but now it is terrible.

Since the early year of my youth I desired to correct my gap, but it was not affordable. Now fast forward to the golden year of my (insert age here) life I took the plunge. Spending $2,500 - $6,000 on braces definitely required research. I searched several orthodontists and their backgrounds. I felt the most confident with Dr. Teifer based on her advanced training. The dental office is welcoming with bright colors and smiling faces. That is a good thing for parents with little ones since they offer pediatric dentistry. My visit was on a Saturday, which is the new patient consult day. I had x-rays completed, review of payment options and review of my dental needs with Dr. Teifer. After that, I decided to put money down and start treatment. My employer offers adult ortho coverage, so my out of pocket was not so high. Otherwise, I would not have gotten braces. For the cost of a daily latte I have begun the transformation process. The great part is they offer in house payment options with no interest. This made my decision much easier. There was a noticeable difference in my gap closure and teeth structure within a few months and I still have 12 months to go. My adjustment visits are planned in advance and last less than 30 minutes. The tightening of the wire was really uncomfortable in the beginning, but is manageable now since my space has closed up tremendously. At this point I have to wear rubber bands 24/7, which has taken me back to looking like a kid, but I love the results so far. I called the canton location because my not so permanent retainer fell off ($350) and I wanted to get it replaced. The rep on the phone tells me that I have a balance of $100 from that installation. Here we go with the billing nonsense again! I kindly tell the rep that I paid for my permanent retainer with my medical FSA and signed up for the remaining $100 to be automatically withdrawn from my account MONTHS ago. I've literally had my permanent retainer for months! So, when I call today you just casually tell me I have a balance? Why is this not something that was not withdrawn and/or rectified months ago? Here I am thinking that I'm paid in full and can get my retainer replaced. The rep tells me that she is going to call me back and won't schedule my appointment to get my retainer fixed until she figures out my "billing" issue. Honestly, enough is enough. I used to love this company and what it stood for, but it's just a hot mess. And why is my almost $400 retainer falling off anyway? I am leaving for Aruba tomorrow and cannot get my teeth taken care of. It's like I'm better off starting over somewhere else!
