I was in so cal and my water pump went out, it was Easter. I called good Sam and they recommended calling PC mechanic inc on Monday. I called good Sam they set up a tow truck and called PC Mechanic inc and spoke with an awesome service writer named Charles. This guy took care of business, explained everything, made a point to get my rig fixed ASAP and let me stay the night since by the time the tow truck came Monday it was to late to work on it. First thing at 7 am the next day they found the issue, they expedited getting the water pump and got me up and running that morning. They didn't try to find crap to charge for that didn't need to be done. Honest, trustworthy, quality work and reasonable price. So the hourly rate is $375.00 but la together it was under 450.00. The thing I look at is if you can't afford the work in the rv world don't get an rv. They require maintenance and repair. I'll tell you what, I will be making an appointment to have all the other stuff done I want done in November. Would recommend this place to all RVers

Number 6 is a well known coil to go bad. The best thing about getting them all replaced was the mechanic found the number 3 plug had backed itself loose. He was able to use a tap to recover the threads and get a new plug in. Overall, I was very satisfied with their service. Front office staff was friendly and professional and the whole place is really clean. I will definitely recommend them to friends with RV's. Thanks to everyone at PC Mechanical.

Expert recommendations / attention to details / ridiculous competence in all things mechanical, and amazing results on a months' long reconditioning of my 1990 BMW E30 M3!!! By sheer happenstance, I was approached in a parking lot next to my 1990 M3 by a nice lady offering a business card for these guys. WHAT SERENDIPITY!!! She was the Mom of one of the owners of Bimmerheads! My 1990 BMW E30 M3 with about 100K miles on her was testing poorly on its compression tests (wide variance in PSI across the four cylinders and all readings were below BMW Spec) and was in need of some serious expertise for a major rebuild / reconditioning that didn't take the car way from me to Oakland or down South to SoCal. I approached Matt and Shant with my concerns, and we were able to schedule the car into their brand-new shop in Grover Beach (sheetrock still smelling new) for what would be one of the most satisfying journeys I've ever experienced with Indy mechanics (and I've had many dating back to my 320i, 330i Convertible, E30 M3 Euro M3 Cabriolet, E46 M3, and a BMW Motorsport E30 M3 EVO Gruppe A purpose-built Race car)! Over the course of almost two months, these guys were proactively professional in their inspections, recommendations, detailed cost estimates (Labor hours and Parts with BMW part numbers) and updates on the project. The project involved touching almost every aspect of the engine bay and beyond. Many parts were found to likely be the original components of a now 36-year-old vehicle. The major issue with the engine block turned out to be carbonization ... likely due to a worn-out ignition system and out of tolerance fuel injectors. The cylinder head and valves had to be thoroughly cleaned, and the pitted camshafts needed to be sent out for polishing. Two troublesome fluid (oil and brake) leaks that I had raised upon discussing the project up front were diagnosed and corrected. Non-engine issues were raised (clutch slave cylinder, hood release cable, hood support strut, brake hoses, etc., etc.), estimates provided, and corrected upon my approval(s). Many activities throughout the project were not charged Labor hours as access made the service just a remove and replace effort! BTW, Labor hours were always indicated to the tenth of an hour. The car was returned to me washed and the engine bay cleaned. The car was always stored in their secured facility ... never outside or overnight. It's running better than it ever did during my 20 some odd years of ownership. I highly recommend these craftsmen to work on your vintage BMW!!! My sincere thanks Matt and Shant!!!!

I had removed the engine from my 99 Mustang Cobra at 200,000 miles primarily as a precaution as these motors die a violent death if the timing chain driving the overhead cams takes a dive. Many of the engines died a violent death prior to reaching 100,000 miles. Their teardown of the engine included a detailed, measured assessment of virtually every component for wear. For those not understanding what an engine tech teardown includes the cost may seem excessive when compared to the corner shop eyeballing stuff. The parts list included those scheduled for replacement plus those needing replacement. The careful inspection was necessary to understand what was happening with my motor. The alternative approach used under the shade tree either replaces more than necessary or misses things that will come back to haunt the owner. Thankfully due to the care received from a shop in LA, Mobil 1 + Lucas additive the engine was in very good shape and needed only pistons, rings, valves , timing chain and other wear items. The price was the price they quoted. The only surprise was the smoothness of the engine when I picked up the car from the installation shop next door. It was like a turbine had been installed.
