I called Timo's on Wednesday to inquire about some Lexus parts for my wife's car and said I'd be in on Saturday. She had hit a road hazard in the dark on Hwy 1. The impact destroyed the driver side fog light and it's wiring to connect it, the plastic and fabric wheel well arch liners on the front and rear driver's side, and the front alloy wheel got scraped up badly. There was ZERO paint/body/mechanical/structural damage to the car. ZERO. When I arrived on Saturday morning, I spoke to Maribel at the front desk and said I needed some Lexus parts. She immediately said "Oh, you called a few days ago" and she reached over to a small file box on her desk and pulled out a sheet of paper (among the many pieces) and referenced the information from our call - I was blown away that she had recorded the info and kept it close. Maribel said yes, they have the car I need for parts in a nearby lot. She called a team member who came back about 30 minutes later with the car on a forklift and he set it down right near the office/entrance. I removed all the parts that I needed from the front area of the car and another team member had to return with a forklift to lift the rear of the car to get the remaining parts I needed - that process took probably 45 min. for someone to come and lift the rear of the car. The forklift driver removed the parts I needed in about 7-8 minutes. In total I paid $172 for all the parts I needed. The body shop wanted $4,500 to repair the car. Yes, you read that correctly, $4,500. I restored the car to original condition. The whole process took about 2.25 hours at Timo's with a lot of standing around and waiting for help to move the car around. They are busy and I understand. Was it worth it? HELL YES! Called and asked if they had an engine for a 92 corolla they said yes so i drove from lompoc (40 minutes away) i get here and the employee edgar was his name said the engine was slightly different i would just need too change some accessories im like okay thats fine then i go too see the engine they brought down and its completely different the engine was a 1.8 i come back and tell edgar that the engine he is trying too give me is a 1.8 and is completely different he said the engine you need is still in the car and we wont be able too remove it today until tomorrow i was like okay what ever so then the next day i get no phone call i then call around 1pm and edgar said "oh yeah the engine you need is bad the block is cracked so i cant sell it" not a bad way too spend a few hours at a useless business go too A&S across the street with better prices,staff and knowledgeable employees. read more

. I was quoted 300 several times for my Jaguar and the tow Driver was a no show, then on the next day I left work two hours early and the driver was late two hours. I was willing to understand that this can happen but then the driver refused to pay what I was quoted with out offering rationale. When I called and asked to speak with the owner, I was refused and spoke with Miguel who would not honor what he promised nor could provide a rationale to why the bait and switch. I requested multiple times to speak with Mr Timo and was refused. He should be ashamed to have his name on this operation. This is regarding specifically Miguel. I called to get my car towed and we agreed on payment over the phone. As I was preparing to get paperwork ready, I couldn't locate my title for the car. I called back and spoke with Miguel reporting I couldn't find it & he said it wouldn't be an issue. He said just car registration would be fine & same payment. When Tow driver arrived he said he could could only give $50 dollars for car due to the registration having lien holder. THAT'S WHY I CALLED BACK IN THE FIRST PLACE MIGUEL, why didn't you CLARIFY. I ended up calling miguel back with driver standing by. Miguel called me an ass*ole over the phone as I was just trying to be cordial. I was being reasonable & he would go in circles in his explanation. Needless to say Miguel tried to gyp me from original agreed upon payment. Miguel would cut me off over the phone & just say "let me talk to my driver now."Ended up giving me same price we agreed upon but had to jump through some hoops. This place is shady. Found this place online after looking up a certain part I needed for my car. It said they had it in stock, drove out there. Turns out they didn't have any to my certain size. However the guy was friendly enough to take me to the back out to another lot where more potential cars. We looked and looked and couldn't find anything until we were about to give up. The worker ended up spotting what I needed last minute as we were heading out. Forgot the guys name but he mentioned being from Venezuela. Cool guy and quick fast service. Timos is run by people who don't care at all about basic courtesy. First time I went there for a part the guy was the rudest person I've dealt with in a long time. I called to have them pick up my car , a complete no show even said the tow truck was on the way, wasted my day and then they closed with no call or nothing. If Zero was a choice I'd select it. I had a problem with a transmission I bought there, customer service representatives contradicted themselves very bad and caused way more headaches. After speaking to a manager, he too was horrible. The kid was scared of telling his dad that there's an upset customer because of him. Place needs people more qualified to handle the service end of the business. Idk timo but his team ruined my experience there.
