From initial consultation to start of the work, everything was smooth and very simple - he explained very clearly what was needed and kept making sure I had no questions. During the same visit, as he was assessing the roof on my garage, he inquired if I ever considered a skylight for the bonus room. In like manner, he had an assessment and estimate in my hands and, after I agreed, likewise made a point to begin the work as soon as he could. I've attached pictures to show progress. I am beyond pleased with the final product. Not only did they install a beautiful skylight, they repainted the rest of the wall to match and the finished work looks as if it were installed as part of the original bonus room. Douglas and his team clearly know roofing, windows, and framing. And their skills back up their work. To make things even better, when a subsequent wind & rain storm resulted in a few drips on the sides of the skylight, Douglas and team were back within days to reassess their work - they removed the skylight, re-checked and shored up the lining, and reinstalled the window in less than a day at no additional cost. Douglas and his company stand by their word and their work. It is a lost attribute in this world of service-providers, and thus working with them was refreshing. EAW said that there was no warranty and they needed to charge if they were to inspect it and charge for any repairs needed. Just to get them to visit took months. I decided to check the roof myself and it's the worst roof job that I had ever seen. They do not stand by their work. I would give them zero stars if possible. Sales guy was very informative and not pushy. the quote was actually lower than I had expected, and that doesnt happen often. signed that day. true to contract they arrived at 7 am, ready to work. the house was covered in tarps to collect the old roof debris. If you don't know, a metal shingle roof must be nailed by hand, no nail guns and random nails here there and everywhere. it's labor intensive. the shingles lock together unlike a regular asphalt one. zero chance of wind lifting them up, each one attaches to its neighbors and interlocks. they added roof vents as we have no ridge vent. I gotta say, it's a flawless job. seriously. I'm not being paid to say this. never trust people that do. they cleaned up every day. heck, my back deck has never looked cleaner. it's a flawless install with snow angels above each door so the snow doesn't slide off and block the doorway. clean professional, on time, hard workers, 12 hour days. 3 days total. dumpster filled and removed. nothing left but a nice clean STRAIGHT roof and a yard sign that I'm proud to display. Get a few quotes,,, but you will choose these guys in the end if you understand value for money. If only every thing was this good. 100% happy.

I've always found this company to be professional and I've just recently hired them to do a deck and some interior construction work. It is so nice to be able to hire Professionals that you don't have to stay on top of and watch every day. These people are the real deal they work hard. They have longtime employees. While they arrived ready to work--despite being a few weeks late--delays weren't the issue. The garage trim replacement with PVC board and the decorative trim and mantle above the front door were well executed. Unfortunately, things went downhill with the most expensive part: window and slider replacement. Tim recommended Harvey windows, but the finish work was sloppy. The trim wasn't square, and the back slider doesn't close or lock properly. Their "fix" was to drill a new latch hole instead of properly squaring the door. I was told this happens "all the time" with Harvey products, blamed on manufacturing defects, and was discouraged from reordering due to wait times. The result: a door that doesn't lock and requires a wedge bar for security. One window in the upstairs bathroom was left unfinished because they couldn't bend trim properly. Tim assured me a new part would be ordered and installed "in a few weeks." I made the mistake of paying in full before this was done. After one follow-up call and more excuses, I haven't heard from Tim again. I eventually sourced the trim piece myself, but it still sits in my garage with no contractor to install it. The original attempt to hide large gaps with caulk was unacceptable. Lastly, one window lock didn't work. Tim claimed a new sash would be sent under warranty and said I could install it myself. That was over six months ago--no sash was ever ordered, and no one followed up. I've attached a few photos to show the poor workmanship that now needs correction. I waited to write this review hoping Tim would return and finish the job. It's now clear he won't. If you hire CPR, be cautious about the quality and follow-through.

He gave us an aggressive time window for job completion which was important to us with the Holidays looming; and he nailed it - finishing with time to spare. The work was absolutely meticulous, and the attention to details and small nuances make such a huge difference! He even went around to touch up and improve other details around the area not in the scope of the job; just because he thought it would improve the aesthetic and he takes so much pride in his work. This guy is a real artisan - not a laborer. He genuinely enjoys crafting beautiful work and it shows. Our kitchen came out mint - better than we even expected! In all honesty, he was so good at what he does we would be willing to pay MORE to have him work on our stuff than other contractors. We had just finished a kitchen remodel in January 2019 (replaced all the cabinets, countertops, and…read morelights), but the floorman we'd contracted with had left us high and dry. We had subfloor and while we could have installed the new laminate floor we had, we'd have done a horrible job at it. Lou Gagne was highly recommended to us by a local business, many of whose employees had used his services. We gave him a call that evening. He came out to see us a couple days later and we discussed what had to be done. Install the laminate floor throughout the kitchen, dining room, and attached hallway, install baseboard everywhere but the kitchen, and install threshold where required. He said it would take two days and gave us a reasonable price. OK, so that's the background. Here's what we got. We got a perfectly installed floor, perfectly installed baseboard, someone who really enjoys his work (he sings to his boom box while on the job!), and he fixed some things that a previous contractor hadn't done right because it bugged him and only took a few minutes. The join between the living and dining rooms is perfect. My wife and I did the living room, and not particularly well. He matched the grout lines in the laminate perfectly. In the kitchen he got the laminate floor so close to the cabinets it looks like the floor goes under the cabinets. His idea of using gray grout was perfect as it matches the grout lines in the floor. These walls in our house are not square, but you'd never know it when you look at the baseboard corners. It didn't matter whether it was an inside or outside corner, in close quarters or not, Lou did it perfectly. He also screwed our subfloor down as it wasn't correctly nailed into the joists during construction in 1986. Can you say "squeak"? Not anymore! Lou also gave us some ideas of how we're going to do the backsplash in our kitchen and behind the stove, which we're going to take him up on as soon as possible. My wife and I trust Lou completely. When he says he can do something, he can really do it. Fair price, great work, and it really gives us pride of ownership in our home again. And at some point, we're going to find a figurine that represents what he can do and how well he does it, even if we need to design it ourselves.
