Dropped my 12 lb puppy off at 12:45 for a 1 PM appointment. When I called close to 5 PM, his cut hadn't started. I had to have him picked up because no one could get there after 6 PM. I was then told that if I had left him until 6:30 he would have been finished. So a little dog with a scheduled appointment would need to sit there for over five hours? If that's how their scheduling works customers should be told that upfront instead of wasting people's time. Glad I didn't pick him up because I wouldn't have paid one red cent. The attitude when I called you o ask if he got everything in the package they charged for was nasty and completely unprofessional. If you didn't give everything in a package, you shouldn't charge for everything in the package. Honestly, I'm glad I picked him up. My dog shakes and cries every time we even turn down that street. After this experience, I will not be returning and would not recommend this place to anyone. Just rude and nasty. read more

I don't know if it's just me but I feel like the quality of service has decreased here. Though always packed with fur babies and the ability to do same day appts some days, I miss the cute scarves they use to provide to freshly groomed pets. Also, I feel like my dogs most recent nail trimming was too far down. Lastly, when he leaves he is soooo exhausted. Like barely awake in the back seat on the way home and sleeps for hours...which is unlike him..he is a hang out the car window and zoomie king....may give em 1 more try..still in the fence read more

$170 for a goldendoodle hair cut & its not even a good cut. He was $170 because it's considered I won't be back here, so chaotic inside and it's not a good cut. I am really disappointed. When I got in the cry I cried because it's so ugly, uneven and patchy. During pick up I had to ask the groomer to cut the hair on his testicals because it wasn't cut. I also pointed out places on his face where it was uneven and the groomer brushed it, so to all blended and I couldn't tell where it was uneven now to show him again. I have witnessed male members of this crew hit and beat animals. I called one day while I was outside in my car watching the behavior to inquire why they were being so rough with a particular dog. The guy proceeded to say that the dog was being difficult. Basically, if you want your animal to have a rough experience and get hit & beat, take them to ruff cuts where they promise to be RUFF with your fur baby. These guys are not gentle or kind to animals at all. read more

A $75 hack job is what was done to my dog. I discussed what I wanted with the tech before hand and she didn't do anything I asked. I asked them to keep the ears but she cut them off. I gave an example of how I wanted the face from another dog right in the salon but the groomer Bianca did completely opposite. I told her not to short and she cut my pup very short. I've been there twice and both times I had a good experience. The first time, my golden doodle got his hair cut in about 2-3 hours and he was so cute. The last time, he got a full summer cut and they had him for 5 hours. I felt like that was a long time but again, he was very cute and smelled really good. I love this place. My dog comes all the time and he leave looking like a brand new pup. He is a Maltese Shi-tuz mix. I love the owner he is so nice. Also the boarding option is so good. For me I take him for grooming and boarding. It is so much cheaper than his last place. I would definitely recommend this place. read more

Unfortunately, I read the reviews before taking my love muffin to this location. When I dropped him off they seemed kind of chaotic like they sure when my appointment was, and they acted like they knew me when it was my first and last time going there. The appointment took way longer than it was expected to take the 2-3 hour wait time was a 5 hour wait. When I finally got my dog from them he smelled really bad, it was almost like they used old nasty towels to dry him off or they had him sitting in old soiled bed for too long. My dog had a yeast infection in his ears and paws after taking him to this location. When I cleaned out his ears I had to use 5 wipes, whish is very disappointing since they charged me close to $200 to do such a poor job on grooming him. It took me three baths to get the horrible smell this shop had on him to get it out. PLEASE DO NOT GO TO THIS GROOMER. read more

This place is dirty, very dirty. I've witnessed the groomer helper not treating dogs with care. There have been times when I've arrived and dogs are in the cages near the front door ... when I return hours later, sometimes many hours later because lately they're always running behind, they're still in the same small cage and usually without water. I often wonder if people who board their pets there know how neglectful this place is to their beloved pets. I decided to stop patronizing this establishment, especially when I noticed my dog would start shaking and I mean shaking as soon as I pulled into the parking lot ... Also, I was told to call back to make an appointment with no response again... SMH However, I really can't say if the customer service will be different once my dog gets groomed. I received excellent service here. My fur baby was boarded for a few days and even received a free bath and trim. I could tell by my dogs behavior that he was treated kindly while I was away. Pricing is actually very decent here for the basics. I've seen these reviews and never had a bad experience here. my big baby Luigi is having his second appointment here and yes they do take a very long time but he smelled amazing. Going in was a fight but he came out very calm and relaxed lol. Surprisingly. Kayla used to be here but she's not anymore so she groomed him before I think the owner actually works to but I'm not sure if I'm right he's actually pretty easy going and quick for early drop offs read more

I brought my dog here to get groomed. We picked him up and my mom noticed his eye kept blinking and thought he was tired. An hour after we're home he's still doing it and pawing at his eye. His eye is now swollen and was perfectly fine when we walked into the place. read more

So listen.. I've been going to this groomer in particular for YEARS. Josh always treats my dog like family and it's really only been recently that I've had complaints. Not because of the treatment of my dog, but more the customers service. As the shop has become more popular.. it's been busier and I can attest that they overbook often. The overbooking is not my biggest issue.. it's the lack of communication. I don't know how any other groomer is there because my dog is older and I only trust him, HOWEVER, the fact that my dog is older and I have never trusted just anyone with him is the reason I will only visit Ruff Cutz. I do hope it gets better because I absolutely adore the black business and it's truly been a pleasure watching it grow from just an idea.. BUT my time is also very valuable just as much as my dollars so my advice to newbies is to give them a shot and judge on you're own. Just be wary of the overbooking. read more
