I wanted to share my recent experience in hopes it helps improve communication and client experience going forward. When booking online, the system prompts you to enter your card information immediately after selecting an appointment. Typically, this step indicates that a deposit will be processed, but that wasn't clearly communicated at the time of booking. When a team member later called to confirm my appointment, I mentioned that I had already entered my card information during the booking process. There was no follow-up from the team to clarify whether the deposit had been received, and since no additional communication was sent, I reasonably assumed everything was confirmed. However, I received a text message at 5:40 p.m. on 10/10/25 -- about 20 minutes before closing -- stating that my appointment scheduled for 11:00 a.m. on 10/11/25 had been canceled. I immediately called and texted but didn't receive a response until the next morning when the business reopened, at which point the appointment was already canceled. Given that appointments here are often booked weeks, if not months, in advance, it's extremely difficult to pivot or make alternate arrangements on such short notice. The lack of follow-up and the last-minute cancellation were disappointing, especially considering the time and planning it takes to secure a spot. I'm sharing this feedback constructively, as I understand things happen, but clearer communication and more proactive customer service would go a long way toward improving the overall experience. read more

Paweome Palace is one of if not the best Groomer that I have ever used in Hanover, Bri is so loving and caring toward our furry friends. She is always booked because of her professionalism. I pray that Pawesome Palace will always be able to take care of our Dutchess a Shih Tzu, who only likes to go to Pawesome Palace. When you walk into a pet grooming place with your dog shaking because she can sense it's the groomers. The owner greeted us right away and asked me what I wanted for My dog. Very clean and organized establishment. I couldn't help but stare at the lovely pictures of the variety of dogs on the wall. The best part is the owner made my dog feel comfortable!! She wasn't caged and waiting patiently for me to arrive. My dog smelled good and the cut was very short as per my request. She did a Pawesome job!! I will definitely 100% support this new business. Bri is amazing!! She is the owner of Pawesome Palace (black woman-owned) and does an amazing job on my fur baby. A friend of mine sent me over to Bri as a recommendation, and I am so glad she did! The prices as Pawesome Palace are reasonable, and a full groom for my baby takes about 2 hours. We've tried two other groomers, and the experiences have been awful. Yet, whenever I ask Bri about my fur baby's behavior while being groomed, she always has positive things to say...it's something about her that my fur baby likes ;-) If he's happy, I'm happy! Our senior chihuahua mix girl had her first grooming appointment here with Amber. We dropped her off and picked her up within 1.5 hours. They did a good job with her bath and toenails (she doesn't like anyone touching her paws). We'll definitely be back for her next session and Amber was awesome and I would recommend her for sure. read more

Pawesome Palace is the best groomer I have ever been to! We have lived in Alabama, California, and now Maryland and have not been able to find anyone to cut our babies hair the right way. Pawesome Palace not only cut her hair exactly how I wanted, but they were super friendly, quick, and reasonably priced. My pup usually seems to be stand-offish and anxious after being groomed but not here, she was not kenneled or locked away and I think that helped her so much. She was able to walk around and sniff and see through the glass door when I arrived. They have a bell on the door that you ring so they can let you in so you know your pup isn't going to escape, it's all very safe and well thought out. We will not be going anywhere else while we are in Maryland, they're AMAZING! Here is a before and after picture of my baby, she had not been groomed for almost 3 months due to us moving and was looking like a mop. I LOVED HOW EASY IT WAS TO SCHEULE AN APPOINTMENT. They have online booking that is super easy to use, and automated message reminders (email and text) that I appreciate. PRICING IS CLEARLY POSTED ONLINE, AND IS VERY REASONABLE. I think it was a great deal for the quality of service! VERY KIND AND PATIENT TO BOTH HUMANS AND ANIMALS Amy took care of my large long-haired puppy (60 lbs) and was so kind. I had lots of questions as I've never cared for a dog with a coat like this before and I want to do right by him. Amy was so patient and happy to answer anything I asked. I forgot to bring my rabies vaccine info (entirely my fault -- it was very clearly stated in multiple places that I needed to have this documentation), I am so grateful that they allowed me to send a picture of it to satisfy this requirement. My dog got car sick and Amy was kind enough let me use some of their cleaning supplies so I could clean up my back seat before I left. Which I think is above and beyond what I could have expected, and she was just so kind about the whole situation. My dog was also in good spirits when I picked him up so I feel like that reflects well on how he was treated while in their care. I know puppies can be a handful and they clearly are well prepared for anything he could throw at them. GOOD SERVICE My dog came out looking and smelling great and had a super cute holiday bandana too! NOTE: They say to expect service to be completed in 2-4 hours. I had a noon bath appointment and they finished in significantly less than 2 hours. So I would recommend keeping that possibility in mind when planning your day. I called to come in for an appointment but she was booked, scheduled for the next day but got called back in to come in early. This was perfect for us and we brought in Tutu just a couple hours later. She was very upfront and nice, told us she wasn't as familiar with our breed (bichon frise) but asked for a picture and made it happen. We were very happy and dog Tutu was also happy. read more

I was excited to check out this Black-woman owned business and made my appointment specifically with Bri the owner. I had read all the policies regarding having to pick up my pup soon after she was ready for pickup or else a fee would be charged. I didn't think it was a problem because I work from home. I showed up and signed in with Bri. At no pint did she tell me that she would not be grooming my pup and that someone else would be doing it. The next unfortunate issue is when I got home my internet was down and I needed to schedule Xfinity to come out. As you would expect, I got the call to pick up my pup during the xfinity time window for their visit. Super stressed bc I know Bri's policy and I don't have anyone in my house to be there when the Xfinity technician showed up, I called to ask for just an additional hour to pick her up. Bri stuck to her policy. Fine. I was lucky enough to have a nice technician that rescheduled my appointment for the next morning bc at this point I just wanted to pick up my pup. Got there and Bri was not there. I spoke to the other groomer that groomed my dog. She was sweet, but she nicked my pup and there was some bleeding. I was told my pup moved around a lot. My pup goes to the groomer every 6 weeks and her regular groomer never nicks her. Also with the stress of having to run there and trying to reschedule my xfinity appointment I just took my pup and left. When I got home I noticed that one side of her torso had visibly longer hair on that side. So yeah...back to my pup's regular groomer we go. read more
