Over a period of time they graduate to full cuts depending on the maturity of your dog. We did not have the patience to wait for this process and found another cutter that makes house calls. Let me say that I had no idea that this jewel was the next city over and literally right up the street. I'm so excited and over joyed when there are family owned establishments that offer great customer service and a very personable experience!!! From the time I called to make Buddy's appointment to the time we arrived Mr. Love (I believe to be the owner) made us feel right at home! When sitting down to complete my first time customer sheet I simply admired the waiting area and how modernly decorative it was...kudos to the design mind behind the look!! Very pleased with Perfect Paws, I was referred by a friend and she mentioned that they were family oriented, timely and reasonable. She never lied. I was welcomed with a smile, my dog is always handled with care. The wait time is never too long sometimes you can leave your dog and he'll be ready in an hour. You can book appointments online and via phone. But I prefer phone. The services is cost efficient and they even offer unlimited washes packages. I started taking my chihuahua mix to doggie daycare at Perfectpaws and I could not be more pleased. There are so many things to rave about: 1) CUSTOMER SERVICE: The staff has been incredibly friendly and accommodating. They didn't seem annoyed at all when, like a crazy dog-mom, I called in the middle of the day to make sure my pup was doing okay! They tell me in detail how my dog did that day when I pick him up, and are more than happy to answer any questions I have. 2) SAFETY: They took their time introducing my dog to the other dogs and making sure his behavior was safe and appropriate enough for daycare. They make sure all their dogs are spayed/neutered and have monitors at their front desk to keep an extra eye on the dogs. They take the dogs outside every few hours for bathroom breaks. I feel comfortable leaving my dog here, which says a lot considering I am a new first-time dog mama! 3) CLEANLINESS: The place is clean and somehow does not have a single trace of doggy odor! 4) PRICE: I love how affordable it is. Compared to dog walkers who only see my dog for a half hour, they cost the same or less. If you take your dog there 4 days a week like I plan to, you can buy a package that ends up coming to about $15 a day! Considering they offer up to 12 hours of service (7 AM-7PM), that is an incredible rate! 5) MY DOG'S HAPPINESS: After just 2 days of daycare I notice my dog's behavior improving--he is much more calm around new people and other dogs when on walks with me and I am excited to see how daycare continues to shape his behavior. His appointment was for 8:15 and I received a call before 10 saying that he was ready to be picked up which was one of my biggest concerns as my previous dog would be at the groomers for hours before we would receive a call saying that he was ready. Perfect Paws' staff was very professional and personable when we arrived. They made my baby feel comfortable before they took him back for his spa visit. We picked him up about 4 his later. I am extremely protective of my miniature Poodle, Gazzebo (BoBo). Since I've been taking him to Perfect Paws, he's never been on better behavior. He usually tries to nip at strangers, but he goes to the staff with no problem at all. Let me start by saying that my review is based on not just grooming but a variety of factors.I have been a customer for about three years so I have seen the changes the business has gone through and effects it has had on customers like me. When I first learned about perfect paws, it was thanks to yelp and reviews like these. I felt a little more confident taking my fur baby to the location because I had not been happy with chain stores and their services. Needless to say, I was super happy with the results that I received and continue to take her on a regular basis. At this time, they had more hours available, boarding, and doggy daycare. The prices were very reasonable and I did not mind supporting the business as frequently. It is understandable that the economy changes and prices must go up, but when the first price increase happened they did not inform their current clients. The only way I found out was when I came to pick up my baby after her services were completed and I had the higher price. I think they should do a better job of informing their frequent customers of any price increases so that they can be prepared if it may present an issue. There were times as well where the grooming was not satisfactory. I'll admit, it was my fault for not addressing it on these times but when I did finally bring it to the attention of the owner she was very nice and made adjustments to my satisfaction. She is a great groomer but you were not always guaranteed to get her so you will not know ahead of time who is growing your baby. The last grooming I had was not great but I just decided that I would not say anything because I don't plan to go back anyway LOL. There is more on that in a paragraph below. In terms of ease of making appointments, I had no problems with that whatsoever. Sometimes I have been able to call and get appointments the same day. Usually, I am able to get appointments within no more than four days max. If you are looking for is an availability this is your place! :-) Lastly, I have decided recently that I will be taking my services elsewhere because the price has gone up yet again without any notification. The service is not getting any better for the price increase so I feel I could find another groomer who could probably offer comparable or better service. I still would not discourage you from trying them to see how your experience goes. Took my two babies in yesterday for spa treatment. Customer service was fabulous. Picking up my babies, I was extremely impressed. They smelled very good and was groomed to perfection. My girl too tie had her nails painted. She never gets them done so I am impressed. I love the progress report I was given. I will definitely return again. Highly recommended. My 4 month old dog, Chase started his first week here using their Daycare. He loves it. He is a 6lb maltipoo who isn't quite ready to be left alone and in need of socialization. There is so many good things about this place, but I will start with the staff- They are all awesome! They have genuine love and passion for the dogs in their care and it is evident immediately. Very professional and full of joy for their job. Chase comes in goes straight to his classroom without prompting at all- he loves it there. He has only been there 5 days and I already see a major difference in his behavior towards other dogs- no fear at all. Chase is not old enough from grooming services, so his hair is quite long, the staff actually brushes him to ensure there are no bothersome tangles for me to fight with when we get home. They returned my dog with longer hair than was asked for and stated that they couldn't put his harness on because they didn't know how, when in actuality they broke it and attempted to put it back together. The receptionist stated that they received him with a broken harness like I'm a fool. I asked them if they could correct his hair cut so that it's shorter while I try to find a leash within their selection that would fit. I look up not to find my baby running to the front unattended. Needless to say, none of them fit my poor Yorkie Poo. I then asked for a refund for half of the services received today because his harness literally cost me $40. The receptionist tells me that I must wait for the manager to receive my refund. A couple of moments later I was handed my refund in cash without the owners presence which was apparently "required" not to long ago. I attempted to remain calm but at this point it became clear to me that this establishment seriously lacks customer service skills as well as morals. I would never recommend this establishment to anyone that truly cares for their baby, nor will I ever return. read more

I will no longer bring my pet to this establishment. This establishment refused to service my dog on 2/13/2018. If my paperwork states that my dog got his shots in August 2017 and they are good for a year why does it need and actual renewal date. This is the same paperwork I provided the company less than six months ago now its not acceptable. The staff lacks the skills necessary to keep proper shot records of their clients pets. Zero stars if possible; In search of a doggy daycare for my pup, I came across this business. The outside was sketchy(no grass/broken glass on the ground) I literally carried my pup inside in fear of him cutting his paws on glass. Once inside, the male employee stated that they don't allow tours of the play area. How am I suppose to trust you with my pup if I'm not allowed to view the area he'll be staying in? Perfect Paws is the best kept secret. The owners and the staff are exceptional and they treat you and your pet like family. I am a first time dog owner of a bouncy, energetic black lab mix named Smoky. Smoky hates the groomer but she loves Perfect Paws. I have to fight to get her to go anywhere else. We have also used their boarding service. We had a last minute emergency and they were able to accomodate us with reasonable prices and great service. read more
