The woman on the phone said yes bring it in and I brought it in and she quoted me $65 and said it would be done in 2 weeks. I went in today and picked up my bag. It looks awful. They took the top part of the bag apart to take off the old straps and sewn it back together CROOKED in 2 spots. They must have been rough because now the bag which was perfect other than the straps now have material coming off exactly where they worked on my bag. I mentioned it to the lady in the front of the store and she said "well it's not real leather. That's why that happened and it's peeling just like the straps." The straps were the only part that was CRACKING NOT PEELING... and the rest of the bag is perfect, except for where they worked on it. BUT if she thought that it would be an issue, why didn't they stop and say they couldn't do it or why didn't she say when I brought it in"This might be an issue?" They're the professionals not me. The lady said she would give me a small discount...Why bother? They already ruined my back...don't want a discount I WANT IT FIXED. They know what they did and instead of taking owner ship which I would have been less upset she tried to blame me that they messed up my backpack. I have flown out of the Tijuana airport a few times in my life, the most recent time being last…read moreweek. It was the first time I went to that airport since CBX had been constructed. Hubby and I were headed to Puerto Escondido, which is very expensive and very time-consuming to fly to from the airport in San Diego. However, flight prices and times were much more reasonable from Tijuana. Thanks to CBX, we didn't need to find anyone to cross the border and drive us directly to the airport, especially as our flight departed at 5:40 AM. It was nice to have an easy drop off on this side of the border. Anyway, we were dropped off on the US side, and had pre-purchased CBX tickets online for $50 per person, round trip. I felt that the price was very fair for the staffing and amenities along the way. We had already reserved a rideshare to drive us to CBX, but I saw the secure parking lots and realized that parking there is also a valid, safe option. It appeared that some of the secured parking cost about $30 per day, making it a good option depending how may days you would like to park your car. Anyway, when we entered, there were people guiding us, as it wasn't too crowded at that early hour. You scan your CBX ticket, your boarding pass, and your passport. Then you are able to walk through the barriers. There are escalators and elevators to get to the bridge, and signs stating that there is assistance available for people with disabilities. The bridge was clean and air-conditioned. We walked through customs just prior to entering the Tijuana airport. When I had learned about CBX, I was reluctant. A friend of mine told me that she had walked much further in various airports. It is true. The walk is short and easy Upon coming back to the states, we learned that there were several taco and other food trucks on the US side of CBX, as well as Starbucks and a well-known mall pretzel company. All in all, I am grateful to have a way to access the TJ airoprt in a very easy and affordable way. I plan to continue to use CBX for more affordable flights south of the border.

Upon arrival, scan your CBX ticket and boarding pass (you can link them and just scan boarding pass as well, but don't need to). Same on the way back.
