I'm guessing that there is a school (or two) that used them, we just don't ever happen to be here at the same time. Court conditions are really nice and probably the best in the area. Courts are also kept really clean, not sure if it's the people that are using them that make sure to clean up after themselves or if they have a crew that does upkeep. But really nice to come here and not have to pick up trash after others. There are also some baseball fields and some outdoor batting cages (intended for fast pitch). Plenty of parking and very rarely more than a few people here at any time (maybe on weekend if there is a baseball tournament?).

There were a ton of children playing soccer on this lovely Sunday and it was fun to watch! Our little man scored at least 3 goals and the coaches were friendly, organized and excellent at encouraging the little ones! Unlike the soccer fields off of Columbiana Road, this park did not have food truck/s or restrooms and using a porta potty with a latch that doesn't work is not among my favorite things. Still, this is a great park, convenient to my stepdaughter's house with an excellent set up for her children's soccer games!

Summer it was nice and warm, winter they had to put up a bubble over the pool .... and needless to say it got a bit chilly to say the least. Pool area was always clean and they do a great job of actual pool maintenance. There are areas for walking as well as plenty of ball fields. There can be a ton of people here pending the time of year and what sports are currently active. Also, there is a really nice playground area for the kids. All in all this is about as nice of a park as you will find in any city area. They truly support sports related to the school systems locally. All in all just a great location. Worth checking out if you find yourself in the area sometime.

We had a really good time watching this baseball game; even though I refuse to go for Alabama. Food prices were higher than that of an Alabama football game and the atmosphere just wasn't there. Overall, it was fun to experience our first college baseball game! :) can't beat $1 tickets behind third base!

A player had hit a ball a little past us and my son jogged over there to see if they would toss it up to him and the security guard immediately got disrespectful with my son. We continued to watch the game when my son walked over there to see if the player warming up the outfielder would toss it up and the security guard again proceeded to get nasty and rude with my son and talked to him like he was poop on the bottom of someone's shoe and then proceeded to say something again as my son was walking away and almost back to our seat. It boasts four baseball fields, a swing set, a playground, and my absolute favorite, the accessible swings. It's great because the accessible swings are located right next to a specific area of accessible parking. There are several picnic tables under a steel awning which would be great for family picnics. There is about a .6 mile loop that's easy for any level of leisure walking or running. Also on the property is a storm shelter, which in Alabama, you definitely need! Plenty of parking too!
