I had a great overall experience at this office. My appointment was at 2:00 p.m., and I was out by…read more2:40 p.m., which was impressive considering everything that was accomplished. When I first arrived, I was greeted by Yazmin. My only concern was that before reviewing my insurance, I was told I had a $30 copay. I explained that my insurance covers one annual preventive physical at no cost and asked if she could double-check. After speaking with her supervisor, she confirmed that I was correct and that I didn't owe a copay. I appreciated that she took the time to verify it, but I think checking insurance benefits before requesting payment would make first impression smoother. After that, everything was wonderful. Juliana, the medical assistant, was absolutely amazing. She immediately made me feel comfortable, especially since I was there for a physical and Pap smear and hadn't been to a doctor in a little over three years. She was kind, reassuring, and made me feel comfortable. She checked my vitals, blood pressure, oxygen level, and weight, and let me know that everything looked good overall, which really eased my anxiety. She did mention that because my appointment was later in the day, they might not be able to complete my Pap smear or lab work, since those are usually scheduled earlier. When I explained that I had specifically requested a physical, lab work, and a Pap smear when I made my appointment three weeks earlier, she immediately looked into it. Dr. Lillo was absolutely fantastic. Once he was informed of the situation, he made accommodations to fit everything in during my visit instead of making me come back. I truly appreciated his willingness to make it happen. One of the highlights of my visit was having my blood drawn by Azure. (Never thought I would say that) Anyone who gets nervous about blood work knows how much this matters. Azure has incredibly gentle, feather-light hands. Before I knew it, she had found my vein, drawn my blood, and was done. I honestly didn't feel a thing. It was one of the easiest and most painless blood draws I've ever had. The appointment itself was quick; in the best way. As we say in Spanish, it was a true "doctor's visit": efficient, thorough, and straight to the point. I left feeling heard, cared for, and grateful for the entire team. I'll be returning for my lab results, a breast exam, and another consultation to discuss a healthy plan for my weight. I genuinely look forward to continuing my care here. Overall, I'm very happy with my experience and would highly recommend this office. Thank you to Dr. Lillo, Juliana, Azure, and Yazmin for making what could have been a stressful visit feel so comfortable and welcoming.

Dr. Glick has been my physician for the last ten years. Having worked in the concierge and…read morefunctional medicine fields for many years, I can say without hesitation that he is beyond outstanding. His ability to interpret laboratory testing and translate it into a usable action plan is stunning. The office is beautiful and a remarkable island away from the chaos of the healthcare system. I highly recommend him.

I have to agree with the previous reviewers that Dr. Glick is THE best doctor that I have ever…read moreseen...and there have been a lot of them! If you have any kind of chronic problem that you haven't been able to figure out, he's the guy that can get to the bottom of it. I can say that with confidence because he's able to put together seemingly disparate pieces of information and ask questions that other doctors would never consider. He's not necessarily going to be able to come up with an answer fast, but he's not going to give up and will also help you figure out new questions to ask yourself about your health. Dr. Glick is a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO), certified in Functional Medicine that has a membership only practice. Here's what that means: Osteopathic doctors practice all areas of medicine but have special training in your body's musculoskeletal system. DO's focus on prevention and keep more up to date on advances in medical technology. Functional Medicine focuses on adding what the body is missing or lacking (nutrients, vitamins, hormones etc.) and removing what the body doesn't need via detoxification. In a way, it's another level of commitment to looking at the complexity of an individual and their health. Lastly, a Member's Only practice is where you pay to be a part of a practice up front or on a monthly basis. You might not be used to that idea, but first and foremost, Dr. Glick is committing to you as a patient. Secondly, you're not going to get a protocol with suggestions based on "what insurance will pay for." You're going to get a legitimate treatment plan that actually has a good chance of working. His office will bill insurance, but a lot of doctors will never tell you what the best plan of action is, they'll only offer what insurance will pay for, which is almost never the best first choice treatment. Whenever you're dealing with an illness that's a diagnosis of exclusion, you're going to need some patience. That's the only reason I've mentioned that getting well may take some time. Dr. Glick will spend enough time with you so that he really knows who you are, not just knows a few random facts about your life. Because he understands how you look at your life and how you think, he makes recommendations in a way that will make sense and be relevant to you. This is his true genius...understanding how to help you overcome the ways in which you may be sabotaging yourself from a health perspective, without realizing it (but he won't be in your face about it).
