First of all Dr. Goodfellow has not been here for years, he was bought out by the front desk…read moreflunkies who are riding his good service coat tails and think they can get away with treating people however they want. Time to call them out on this as I am far from the only one with complaints since the good doctor (pun intended) sold his practice. Extremely rude treatment by supposed "owner" and told if I did not like situation to "get my ass out". My interaction was with who I was told was "Lori" but actually may have been one of the co-owners who is listed as Wagner/Fulton LLC, Amy Fulton and Lynn Wagoner. More than likely Lynn Wagnor as it starts with an L and the other person there may have lied about her name, or I just misunderstood. This Lynn person was the one who claimed to be the owner and was very nasty and used profanity. Also note that this practice was sold by Dr. Dr. Goodfellow on 04/21/2017 and purchased by this LLC. I do not believe that either of these women are a DMV. I have been taking my dog to New Carlisle Animal Hospital, 427 N Main St in New Carlisle, for around 4 years now. This afternoon (November 11, 2019 Veterans Day) I noticed a lump near his anus and since he is a boxer I always am concerned about this type of thing. I went in, yes without an appointment as this is my vet and I was very concerned about my dog. Long story short, they brushed it off as not important and made an appointment for next Saturday, which due to my work schedule as the next time I could come in. I returned a short time later to get my dog's records and informed them to cancel the appointment and mail me my dog's records as I would seek service elsewhere. I was accused of "having an attitude and after informing me that they refused to mail the records, I would have to pick them up, one of the two women at the desk who claimed to be the owner said something to the effect of "if you don't like it you can just walk your ass right on out of here." Wonderful way to talk to a veteran on Veteran's day. I did not use foul language or raise my voice at any time, yet I was spoken to in this manor. I just wanted to let everyone know how this business, whom I have patronized for over 4 years, treats its customers. I found another local clinic not only willing to take a look at Pluto but who treated me with respect and thanked me for serving my country, as opposed to the lazy, incompetence and rude treatment I received at New Carlisle Animal Hospital. This place needs to be closed down. Found a clinic in Troy to care for Pluto, who required sedation and draining of a very painful anal gland, they said he was in pain but New Carlisle Animal Hospital wanted him to suffer in pain until next Saturday. Rude incompetent lazy and unintelligent. oh, also the vet who ended up taking care of Pluto today did not rule out a tumor until he had Pluto's sedated and was able to work on it

Living in New Carlisle, this vet was one of two choices in the area. The vets themselves are great,…read morehowever, the older blonde front desk worker has no social skills. During one visit, after getting our puppy checked out, I walked up to the front desk and said "Hello," to her. No verbal response, she just looked at me. She then proceeded to answer the phone after an awkward 30 seconds of silence. Finally, the other younger lady came out and took care of our bill for us. I don't know what the other's problem is, but the cold shoulder treatment is extremely unprofessional. We're going to be looking at going somewhere else a bit farther away.

we took our wonderful cat "woody boy" to agenbroad vets in tipp city, ohio. dr. horn attending to…read morehim, on sunday december 31, 2017. we have another vet we have faithfully used for over 20 years, but woody appeared to have anal gland issues on sunday morning, i felt possibly they were full and needed to be expressed. so they were the only vet open on the holiday. we made an appoinment, dr. horn examined him. she literally was pulling stool out of my cat, really? he was screaming in pain. she expressed one anal gland, we were told he needed to come back at 9am on tuesday for a procedure, she then gave him two injections, antibiotic and she called the second one an anti-inflammatory...sent us home with no instructions or concerns. i later found out the one shot was a very dangerous steroid injection that she gave him. our beautiful boy woody was rushed to an emergency hospital on monday night dying!! he was literally drowning!! in fluid from his lungs. he was screaming from fright, his lips curled back, he was panting and screaming. steroids cause pulmonary edema and heart failure in older cats, with unknown heart issues....if you have never seen your pet die this way (we did)...you do not ever!! we watched him die in the hospital, struggling to breath. he died...i will be seeking justice for woody and myself....i suffer from ptsd and he was my "therapy pet" for ten years! this was the most horrific experience ever!! then to make matters worse...dr. horn was impossible to get a hold of, finally after three calls and talking to her, she stated that because of his age and size she should have given him a chest xray first...funny... emergency room doctor found no issues with either of his anal glands...justice for "woody"!!
