Prices go up and care goes down. This unfortunately is happening everywhere there are very few privately owned veterinarian clinics in this area. I have been going to North Main for over 35 years with many rescued dogs that I adopted and always received excellent care....until the past 2-3 years everything changed when one of the last original vets retired and the practice was sold. I won't go into details on care that was given or not given it serves no purpose. Now I have to find another practice that may or may not be owned by a corporation but hopefully will have veterinarians that will have the caring and compassion for the pets we love and not for the good of the corporation.

TAKE CAUTION IF YOUR PET IS ON MEDICATION!!! I boarded my dog here from 8-9 June 2025. I gave them…read moreher medication with instructions to give it to her the morning of the 9th, as she had already been given her dose for the 8th. When I went to pick her up at or about 1539 (charged for another day since it was after 1200), I was told by the staff I talked to (there were 3) that my dog had not been given her meds at all, with no answer as to why. I asked if someone could call me with an answer. I gave her the dose as soon as I got her in my truck. Mike called and left a VM saying she did in fact get her dose that morning. When I called back to inform him that I just double dosed my dog with Prozac based on their misinformation, all he basically had to say was "sorry " and "better call your vet." If you are considering patronizing this business, please take this incident into consideration. For all they know a double dose could have killed her, and with certain other medications, it could in fact have. It's a shame because I was a regular customer and this location is very convenient for me. However, I think this was a pretty close call. Add the apparent lack of concern by the management, and I can no longer, with any good conscience, trust this facility with my dog.

I was impressed with the clean facility, nice helpful, efficient staff when I dropped off the pets. My wife picked one of the standard plans that provided walks and play time sessions for the beagle. The facility has spacious outdoor areas for walking and play. I did not see kennel area, but was assured that dog had his own cage. The cats were housed in spacious individual cages that have several compartments - one for water, one for food, a sleeping compartment and nice lounging area each. Before dropping off the pets, we had to present pet's current vaccinations records. Also, provide pet food (bagged for each meal).

Working with Alyssa and her family great. I reached out and and she replied over night about their recently born litter of Cane Corso puppies. She sent pictures and allowed me to pick the puppy I preferred. Making arrangements was easy and given that we were coming from Wisconsin and their business is in OH, it was still easy to make adjustments due to weather and other delays. Upon arrival my husband noticed that they had several beautiful Cane's onsite. The paperwork was signed Zelle sent and we were on our way. Now on our new baby... Layla... She is perfect. She is healthy, spunky, intelligent, and definitely a beautiful representation of her breed. We registered her with the AKC and discovered a champion in her bloodline and pure Italian roots and it shows. Our next steps include some sort of training but I am strongly considering whether or not we should do agility or some other sport because our baby is all about the exercise and rolling around. Post sale - I have sent Alyssa pics and asked questions about our girl and she continues to be responsive and really helpful as we transition our home to this new breed. Overall, I couldn't be happier with our decision and new family Member, they really are an excellent breeder.
