I recently chose to work with Jody Miller and I just had to write a review. Be warned, she is very…read morebusy and does not (or at least in my case) work out side of business hours (9 to 5) and can take weeks to set up a meeting due to her not setting up appointment times via email, but calling while you're at work and busy, leaving a voice mail, you call back and leave her a voice mail, and so on... I, 9 times out of 10, follow up a phone call with an email and scheduling could have went a lot quicker if she were to follow up via email instead of trying to catch me over the phone. When you're a working professional that has meetings throughout the day, it's hard to just "be available" when she can request a time and I can make myself available. I understand that I didn't have your typical circumstances, however, I didn't feel that I was a top priority and she did not proactively provide updates. An expectation was set that this process would be quick (around 30 days) and it actually took around 3 months. What caused the delay? I don't know exactly, but I was prompt on everything that she required from me. I drove hours out of my way to be at her office during office hours in addition to sending back paperwork next day to expedite my impact on the process and it still took 3 months. The office space is nice. Jody is professional. I just question her commitment to every case, her availability (she spent quite a few days a week in court or preparing for court), and her lack of providing status updates.
