This place is awesome. Highly recommend! It is the first workout I've done in a long time that has kept me challenged and engaged.

Why?…read moreBecause I've never been dedicated to a work out routine more than 6 weeks in my life, by myself. The whole system of accountability in the Orange Theory App, the classes you sign up for, the coaches, and most importantly.....myself. Great location, the staff is friendly, from the front desk people to the Coaches. I've never had a bad experience here. I've only had great moments. So far, I've worked out with some great coaches: Chris, Joseph, and Jess. There's no particular order of favorites but I will say, my top coach has the best playlist. Other than that, with every coach I've worked out with, they are informational and they know what they're doing! So yes, the staff is friendly, motivational and knowledgeable. Timeliness and organized, I can only talk about this location, I've never been to any other OT gym, but they are very timely and organized which helps me out a bunch! I don't need to plan my workouts or time them, I just need to make sure I put something in my stomach for a pre-workout, drink water and show up! It just makes things so much easier for me. You may have to pay higher than what you normally pay at a normal gym, but it's all worth it. Do I see results? Yes, I do. I see my body changes, I see my heart changes for the better and overall health has improved. I see myself attending classes at least 3 times a week. OT makes things simple and this location is just a great place to be.

From the first time I walked in I felt a sense of community and was welcomed warmly by not only the staff but other members! The coaches push you to be the best version of yourself, aim to help keep you healthy and motivated in every class and are not afraid to correct you if your form is off. Which is great because they don't want you hurting yourself. I can definitely see myself continuing to be a member for as long as I can and over the last few months have already noticed a difference in myself and what I am capable of. Plus being more toned, getting better sleep and wanting to eat healthier are just perks of working out daily I have also noticed! Thank you Orangetheory for being a great place to work out!

This review is for the Sanford, Florida location (STAY AWAY):…read more I did their intro class, signed up, was told my card was declined, and that my membership wasn't active, didn't make any sense as their was plenty of balance available; nevertheless, was told multiple times. Well a week later, the charges go through, but not a single member of their team called me to ask when I want to schedule my next class, or even let me know that my membership was activated. Well once it was processed, no one followed up with me to see which classes I would like to join, instead they billed me for three months straight. When I had finally noticed and called, stating I had never attended a single class, the manager (Chris) told me that because I signed an agreement, that nothing can be done. Not a penny can be refunded or any credit be applied to future months because I signed an agreement-though I was told at the time the agreement is not valid (lack of payment). So in other words, they seem to be very courteous and friendly during the intro class; however, after you've signed an agreement, it's a whole another story. They don't seem to remember telling me that my membership was not good Bc of lack of payment; however, once it processed, they never let me know, instead just billed me. I had to call myself to confirm the details and anyone I spoke to gave no concern at all (Jesse and Chris). The instructor (Prentice), the general manager (Chris), and the girl who signed me up (Katelyn), not one person made a single form of contact for three months to let me know I had an active membership. They simply mentioned they would pass it along and emailed me the information for the owner (Bill)-whom has yet to respond. I will be escalating this further on my own, but I think the world should know how this place actually operates. **WOULD HIGHLY ADVISE TO STAY AWAY FROM A BUSINESS WITH SUCH DECEPTIVE PRACTICES**

The new Crunch Fitness in Lake Mary is still very much a work in progress, but you can already see…read morethe vision coming together. Since taking over the old 24 Hour Fitness space, they've done a solid job expanding the workout floor and--thankfully--removed the basketball courts. That extra square footage went straight into more exercise equipment, which is a big win. You'll notice a mix of the older 24 Hour Fitness machines alongside brand-new Crunch equipment, so it feels like a blend of old and new right now. The variety of machines is definitely improved, and there's more room to move around compared to before. That said, even with the expanded layout, it still gets pretty crowded during peak hours. Hopefully as construction wraps up and everything is fully dialed in, the flow improves. Overall, it's promising. Once construction is complete and things settle in, this location has the potential to be a really strong gym option in Lake Mary. For now, it's good--but not quite finished yet.

My first time experience was a disaster…read more I have never experienced a Crunch gym before, after my experience I will not be purchasing a membership. This Crunch location offers one day passes to active members to bring first timers. However, when I arrived, My friend who purchases a membership was denied a day pass and I was instead told to pay for a "free week." My solution was to get a free day pass from Crunch through their website. The staff gathered additional information and collected my license. Surprisingly, they didn't tell me that I wouldn't receive my license back until I explicitly asked. This alone made me uncomfortable enough to think about Crunch's business practices. The gym equipment is serviceable, and my experience working out without the presence of an employee was my favorite part. After returning to the front desk to collect my ID, A different gentleman with dark curly hair informed me that I wouldn't receive my license until I paid for the "free week" pass. While this might have been meant as a joke, the delivery and lack of explanation this was optional left a horrible taste in my mouth. After explaining that I wouldn't be signing up at this time, the employee began questioning me about my decision he didn't inform me I could make. He even said, "You don't have 6 cents to sign up?" while my license was still in his possession. Needless to say, after repeatedly asking for my license back it was finally given to me. The last 5 minutes of my experience ruined the past ~2hrs spent there. I will never give Crunch an opportunity to take my money after this first (and only) experience.
