My daughter moved in August 2020 and has lived there since. She is graduating and moving out - very sad to leave. Stacey has been extremely accommodating and responsive. Whenever the girls needed a repair done or had any issue (which was rarely), Stacey and her staff took care of it right away. Parkview, where we rented was well maintained, safe and the perfect place to live in college. It is in a great location, and is updated and very livable. I am a member of an Alabama Parents Facebook group and I have heard horror stories about other rental companies. I have been so thankful to rent from Harris and Stacey and cannot recommend them more. I called corporate numerous times, left voicemails, emailed them directly with no response from my rental property managers or corporate until I attached everyone's email on the CC email feature. My unit also had harsh chemicals used to water proof the lineoleum countertops in the kitchen and bathroom. The bathroom tub had a new finish and the walls were freshly painted. All of which are greatly appreciated. But the apartment was not ventilated. I almost passed out and had to go to urgent care on day one of living in my apartment. I called emergency maintenance hotline and they told me to simply air out my apartment. That should have been done before I moved in. To fix the dishwasher Germaine poured chlorine into the dishwasher and ran it but it didn't drain. He ran it on hot which turned the bleach into it's poisonous gaseous form sodium hypochlorite. Germaine said chlorine isn't poisonous. Royal Pines and Sealy Realty Co have been giving me, a military veteran unnecessary push back. All I asked was for them to put me up in a hotel for at least 2 weeks to allow the unit to properly ventilate and so I wouldn't have to breathe in cancer. Due to my military service I am already prone to lung cancer from breathing in asbestos, harsh chemicals and being exposed to hazardous burn pits. I know what my brain cells dying off feels like. I asked for a medical grade air purifier but they scoffed at my request. It was very frustrating and insulting. I am actually getting screened for lung cancer by having a cat scan on my lungs because of my time in service. I just want to warn others by sharing my experience. I pay on time and maintain the property but major issues are not addressed with the upmost regard. The property has foundation issues, some windows need replacing due to gaps that allow water to enter when raining and the plumbing has issues ( the house has nibco piping which has a class action lawsuit) and the mass repair needed to prevent future plumbing issues will not be performed.
