This newer location is closer to the VR areas and the kid watch places so it's actually a way better location and on the second floor. Been here a couple times and can't wait to go back!

I've had parties at Pump It Up, where the staff was much more attentive and proactive. I also had an unpleasant interaction with an employee (Scott?). The employee's old white car was parked in front of the facility, with its windows completely down and a cracked windshield, and its alarm went off. The employee came outside, WALKED ON THE HOOD OF HIS CAR to turn off the alarm, and then accused me of hitting his car. My husband and the five children in my car all confirmed that I didn't. After confronting me in the parking lot, he walked back into K1 while I followed behind. I found it very inappropriate for an employee to yell at a customer, especially as they were entering the business. The kids enjoyed themselves, but the overall customer service was not up to my expectations. When I book a party I like to be stress free, otherwise I would just host a party at my own house.

Most of the games are geared toward older kids (and adults) but they do have 2-3 games for younger ones. Booking online is the easiest. But if you're too late for your game, you won't be able to play because the game time cannot be shortened and you will create a backup for other customers. Highly recommend you come 15 min early to check in and get outfitted. Bring your own water bottle. You will get sweaty. If you forget your water, they sell refrigerated water for $4.

Not sure why we couldn't play then if we were the only ones playing anyways. We rebooked for later the same day after dinner and arrived 30 mins early. It turns out we need to sign waivers and prep time before playing. This should have been basic information given to us or at least let us know we should arrive earlier than your booked time in order to play. Just thinking logically I would want clients to prefill these out prior to their reservations. This would create less friction at start time. The crew setting us up for playtime were very helpful though and after playing they gave us a nice recap experience of our game. This was a nice touch but I wish they would have told us how the photos would be used more clearly. I wasn't even ready when taking my photo and halfway through a blink. The kids liked the game play but adults didn't have a good time. It was dizzying and exhausting to play for me and my wife and $50 a person for such an experience seems high. Would probably stay away and try to convince my kids to do the same.

Everything that the past Yelpers said were all true - participants get a nice long sleeve t-shirt, a Christmas tree ornament for the finishers, lots of food and ice cream. Although it was freezing, it didn't stop Cat N. and me from enjoying our ice cream. It was a well deserved treat. =) The course was a flat, paved route around the Bishop Ranch area (think of a big figure 8) and the volunteers at each mile marker would call out your time. Only downfall on this race was that there were no water stops. Nevertheless, I would totally sign up again. P.S. We got free water bottles from Fleet Feet (one of the sponsors).

This fun, on the small side, pretty much flat half marathon was a pretty great experience. I ran…read moreit for the first time this year (2009) and managed to PR by a large margin. There were only about 500 runners, and while the course wasn't particularly scenic, I had a good time overall. Here's the break down of my review: Organization -- 5 stars: The course has lots of volunteers along the way to shout out your time at the mile markers and to make sure you don't go off course (not really an issue, but still nice). At mile 10 you join up with the 5k runners, of whom there are MANY, at which point there was a separate lane for the half marathon runners. That part was especially appreciated. The sweat bag check in at the start was also very helpful, because I got pretty cold after the race and it was nice to be able to put on a clean, dry jacket. The race is a point to point course, and a shuttle was provided back to the starting line. A couple of snafus: There were mile markers missing at miles 1 and 10, which was a little frustrating. Also, the post race snacks were pretty meager. If I run this race again, I'll definitely put a sandwich in my sweats bag. Crowd support -- 4 stars. There weren't heaps and heaps of people watching, like at other races I've run, but there were enough people out there who were excited to see us run and grateful that the proceeds of the race would go to support the San Ramon school district. Course -- 3 stars: The course winds through residential areas of Danville and San Ramon, which is pretty dull, especially considering the number of races on the Bay Area that run through awesome, gorgeous terrain. That said, the race entrance fee is relatively low, and the course is flat and comfortable to run. Like I said, I had a great time running this race and I might do it again next year.

I've now only done a few runs, but this one seems to be on the low end of organized compared to…read moreothers. I used to do the Primo's Run when I was a tiny little kid. This I why, during my "let's become a runner" phase (which I continue to stay in now that I've gotten the hang of it) I decided to come back and give it a try as an adult. I arrived early, having researched the parking situation and seen that if I needed/wanted to leave right after I run (which I did), I'd have to park fairly far away from the actual event. I parked and hesitated a moment, wondering if I should bring my things with me (water bottle, snack, gear bag for my extra clothes... it was cold that morning!) and went ahead and brought it with me. I was early, so no thanks on freezing while I wait! I get to registration and receive my packet. I could already see that there was confusion within registration lines and there was no labeling or guidance whatsoever. I asked about gear check, to which everyone looked at me like deer in headlights. I even asked the woman who appeared to be guiding people into the registration lines, and when she gave me the same look and said she'd ask... well... she went right over to the same woman I had already gotten NO answer from. Sweet. No gear check?!? Seriously? I volunteered at a 10k of under 1000 participants, and even we had a gear check. It was really shocking to see that they didn't provide anything for runners to leave their things in a safe place! I fortunately found a volunteer who shall remain nameless who kindly hid my things under the table where she was stationed, and I was able to leave them there until I finished the race. Overall, it's a run for a good cause. Will I be back? Maybe. For nostalgia sake, or maybe for the 1/2 marathon if I can work myself up to that for next year!

This is a quaint little farm in San Ramon that's open to the public (free). We came here with a…read moretoddler, who was a bit frighten by the animals at first, but eventually warmed up to them. They are all very gentle and just roaming around in their enclosed area. There is a horse, sheep, lamb, a goat, and some chickens. This is not a petting zoo. We came here on a Saturday and ran into the couple that runs the farm. They were eager to tell us all about the farm, its history, and current events happening at the farm. (Almost) every Saturday morning at 11:00 a.m. there is a free event, such as art with corn, ice cream making, rug weaving etc. See their website for schedule of events. They also have a tractor museum with many tractors restored by volunteers. Because we had a toddler with us, we had to cut our visit short and didn't get to check out the gift shop and the tour of the Victorian house (tours Saturdays at 12:00 pm and 1pm). We brought a picnic lunch and sat at one of several picnic tables scattered throughout the farm. It was a fun and educational outing, and we'll probably come back again.

He came to my home, and did his thing Long story short...because I neglected the bike, it needed new parts etc. And additional trips to the house. I brought my 2000 Harley Sportster 883 to Ol Skool & LS Motorsports after dealing with some ongoing…read moreissues for a while which included an oil leak and fuel/air mixture issues leading to "lean sneeze" and power loss when accelerating. Before contacting Ol Skool & LS Motorsports, I previously contacted several other shops in which I was told they didn't want to take on the work for a Harley Sportser, which was pretty frustrating. Lawrence, the owner, was willing to take it on--and I'm really glad he did. He replaced the rocker box top seals and push rod gaskets, rebuilt and tuned the carburetor to match my exhaust and S&S intake, and re-gasketed the air intake system. He also tracked down and fixed both an oil leak and a separate gas leak from the carburetor. Since getting the bike back, it's been running great. What stood out most to me was how easy Lawrence was to work with. He stayed in touch throughout the whole process, kept me updated, and explained things in a way that actually made sense. His pricing was very fair too, especially considering the amount of work that went into it. If you've got a bike that other shops won't touch or can't figure out, I'd definitely recommend Ol Skool & LS Motorsports. Lawrence knows his stuff and takes care of his customers.
