I had 3 kids with me and basically never take younger kids with you or bring ear plugs. The "lifeguards" love to blow their whistle so often you hear nothing but that...its sad because my 2 year old ended up swimming back and forth that day but in an attempt to get to me she touched the rope and got the whistle blown at her. My 8 year old was having a wonderful time using their swing rope until he was randomly told to get down and he was no longer able to use it because he was in a life vest...there was a summer program there and the children were actively doing the EXACT same thing with life jackets on. It was a bit harsh to handle the child like this as he was swimming and doing something he had been allowed to do many times prior to this. He didnt know what he did wrong due to him already doing this activity and I am thankful I was close by to catch the interaction between the lifeguard and my child. Initially, we were pleasantly surprised by how quickly Emerald Waters Pool completed our pool installation. Unfortunately, we soon realized the speed came at the expense of doing the job correctly. The biggest issue was that the required city inspections were never completed before construction moved forward. Will advanced the project all the way to the final inspection, where the city rejected the entire project. We then spent approximately two and a half months waiting for everything to be corrected and approved before we could finally move forward with the plaster. Even after receiving city approval, the problems continued. The site had not been properly prepared before the plaster was applied, resulting in it having to be installed twice. Then, just three weeks after installation, the color began fading, which was clearly not normal. We contacted Will about the issue but never received a response. We also discovered that the waterfall was installed off-center, another quality control issue that should have been caught during construction. In addition to the pool, we hired Emerald Waters Pool to install a patio and walkway. The workmanship was disappointing. The pavers was neither straight nor level without constant supervision, and we had to insist that sections be redone because they were not installed correctly. To make matters worse, some of the additional work we paid for was never completed. It is also worth noting that the work performed outside of the pool installation was never covered by a written contract, which appeared to avoid documenting that portion of the project. Based on our experience, we cannot recommend Emerald. Between the missed inspections, poor workmanship, lack of communication, and incomplete work, the project became far more stressful and time-consuming than it should have been. We strongly encourage anyone considering this company to continue their search for a builder that prioritizes quality, communication, and accountability.

There is a diving board for the ambitious. That's in almost 12 feet of water. They knew to avoid it. There were multiple life guards throughout the facility and they were all attentive and extremely friendly. We went when they opened right at 1 pm on a Sunday and we barely got a pool chair to put our towels on. It gets packed fast. You can't bring inside drinks in- there's food trucks for drinks and snow cones but we didn't need it. They do search your bags for outside food/drinks. Everyone in the park was super friendly and low key. We felt safe and it was most definitely a family place. Next time we're in Burkburnett we will definitely come back! Wifey tip: They do ask you what your zip code is be 'non-residents of Burkburnett' are charged more. We gave them a local Burkburnett zip code but we're still charged the out of town price for whatever reason ‍

I have been at the pool the last 3 weekends (4 Xs total) this Summer and it is truly 5 stars! The check in is super easy. I paid $5 each time (a discount for C.Hill) residents as well as your guest. They do take cash or card which is convenient. The line is never long, really non existent most of the time. Parking is a breeze especially if you get there for open swim which begins at 12 noon. The majority of the lounge chairs are shaded and you don't have to worry about anyone taking/moving your belongings as you enjoy the water. The lazy river is extremely clean and well kept and the floaties are in abundance and FREE! Everyone is respectful in the pool! At any given time there can be newborn babies to the seniors and every age in between so being courteous is just as important as having fun! The music is great too! They play EVERYTHING including Spanish songs on Cedar Hill Tunes. There is one lazy river, one slide which is so much fun and never a long line, as well as a larger pool that is wheelchair assessable too. It was in this pool that my BF taught me to swim this Summer so the Cedar Hill Lagoon will forever be memorable to me! They also have about 7 cabanas that you can rent out for your private event. The bathrooms have great air flow and are pretty well kept with no trash on the ground an I definitely appreciated the cleanliness. They also have showers too. The lifeguards are also professional and they appear to have fun too. There is food available if you get hungry. A CH police officer does make his/her round at the pool too so it definitely makes you feel safe an at ease. I hope the Lagoon continues to be a fun, clean, memorable place for my future summers!

This is a public pool so lots of families lots of camps lots of kids... I wanted sun and the pool and that's exactly what I got. I would totally recommend.
