This aquatic center is perfect for all ages. If you're 65 yrs and older there's no fee. There are several different areas, depending on your skill level, to enjoy the water on a hot day. There's an area for diving off the diving board, an area for a smaller children, lazy river for all ages and a water slide. That looks really interesting. I didn't go on that one but yeah, it's really nice. Lots of grassy area so if you wanna picnic out there, while enjoying the water. There's lounging chairs that go pretty quickly as well as the tubes for the lazy river. The lifeguards are very nice very well trained, constantly looking, constantly watching everyone to make sure no one is in distress. And yes, there are a lot of lifeguards which is really great considering how many people are there. There are rules to to the aquatic center too many for me to mention here, but if you want to check it out, go to their website. When I checked on the website, for the past couple days, it said it was closed, but the best thing to do is call to make sure it is open. Even the day I went the website online said it was closed. Before you reach the aquatic center you wind your way through the park that is very beautiful and very clean. read more

The main pool is big and has a layer where it's 3 feet deep which is great for going under water. It also seems very clean which is one of the most important parts of a water part. They also have these water things coming from the ground. The lazy river is also great for practicing swimming, and also has some sections that are really fun. But the main part are the big slides. Unfortunately they only have 3 big slides and if you don't know how to swim you can only go down the yellow and blue ones. If there were more I would have given this 5 stars. But the ones that are there give you a adrenaline rush. Overall great experience would recommend going this and other summers. Only reason not giving 5 stars is due to the lack of things to do. read more

I signed up my 16 month old Grandson for swimming lessons. He was in a class with 3-4 year olds so I would recommend your child know how to talk and understand communication before enrolling them. The class was for beginners 1-5 years old. I was hoping they could show him how to roll over and float on their back if they were face down in the water. read more

If you live in Hurst, the Chisholm Aquatics Center is a great resource and worth visiting once or twice a summer. For non-residents, the price is absurd. The main highlights: a kiddie pool/splash pad area for toddlers, a lazy river, three water slides, and two low dive diving boards. In terms of the toddler area, the structure is similar to the splash pad at Oak Hills park in Carrolton (which is free). It has a slide and lots of spraying water features. The structure is in the middle of a large, shallow pool. This area was good for both my 3 year old and 9 month old. The lazy river is fun but VERY crowded. There are too many people and not enough inner tubes to make this enjoyable for an adult, although my 5, 6, and 8 year olds thought it was very fun. The current goes quite fast - if you are planning to go with any non-swimmers, I'd recommend a one to one ratio of adults to children. The water slides did look pretty fun, but most of my kids did not meet the height requirement despite being able to swim, so we didn't spend much time there. Plan for long lines on a weekend. My kids really enjoyed the diving boards. Seeing as it's a 12 feet deep pool, I can't figure out why they installed two low dives instead of a low dive and a high dive. The BIG NEGATIVE, and one worth mentioning, is their absolutely insane raincheck policy. We initially went on the afternoon of my 3 year old's birthday. We bought our tickets at 3:18pm. By the time we applied sunscreen, changed the baby into a swim diaper, found inner tubes for the lazy river, and got in the pool it was 3:40. At 3:50pm the lifeguards alerted everyone to exit the pool because of lightening. Within 10 minutes it was POURING rain. When I went to request a raincheck (a RAINCHECK, not a refund!), they told me they do not offer rainchecks unless the waterpark completely closes down. There is a complicated system for how the determine a closure which involves waiting out multiple 30 minute waiting periods. After about an hour of waiting I asked to speak to a manager, who also refused to offer a raincheck. He looked at my receipt and said "well it looks like you guys got at least 10 minutes of swimming in before we closed the pool, so I can't offer a raincheck." ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! We paid $70 for 10 minutes in the water?! After going back and forth he finally did give me admission passes to come back and two weeks later we returned, but their unreasonable policies left such a bad taste in my mouth we will likely never return. Let me tell you that this place is more than meets the eye. They have a lazy river, 3 epic water slides, and a kid area so there is something for the whole family. Loved the space. Really great special right now I til July 2023. For me. It's a bit of far to go daily and I don't love how they don't have outdoor tanning. It's like the one thing they are missing. Outdoor abilities. Outdoor pool etc. they have an indoor walk track that is so awesome. They have a pool that is deep deep deep and you can jump into. They said that you can even climb the wall and jump in to that that's really really really cool. They have the moving water that circulate you around in a circle but you can't come in with a floaty on that like you were at Great Wolf Lodge. All in all the workout area the showers. The systems that they have in place are amazing love it. It's a really good deal especially if you're nearby. read more

$10 per person totally worth the price. 3 slides , lazy river , and many children / toddler friendly areas. Above all I felt extremely safe for my children. There are life guards everyone and they have a safety policy that I have never seen before at any water park I have ever visited. All lifeguards sweep their vision and scan the pools constantly. At first it looked odd with their heads all bobbing but soon realized they were constantly scanning the waters. HUGE plus!!!!! The park is not humongous but large enough to enjoy. Coolers and food are welcome in the park and restrooms are very clean. read more

This water park is DANGEROUS.... Kids running EVERYWHERE and not just small ones teenagers too. I about got mowed down while holding my 12mo. grand baby and had to yell at someones kid for it. I spoke to 2 "LIFEGUARDS" about all the running and about the baby almost getting hurt pff... that was a JOKE, one of the guards says to me...."Well what do you want me to do about it." WHAT!!!!! I even spoke to the so called "Manager" HA.. thats even more hilarious smh.. This past Saturday the 10th of June I brought my family to the park to celebrate one of my grand babies b-day. We all get there around 4:30pm (the park closes at 6pm on Sat.) MOST people would see 3 adults, 10yr old and 2 infants would probably assume that the adults will want to go on the slides and the babies in kiddie pool. They FAIL to mention that it was all CLOSED as we shelled out over $50. And NEVER REOPENED!!! WONT BE BACK!!! read more

We love this place and go with my niece every summer. Bring your picnic because there are picnic tables in shade and there are plenty of grassy areas in shade. The snack bar is well stocked and the prices are very reasonable. Plenty of well trained, attentive and polite life guards. The floats are free, life vests are free for little ones. There is a little baby pool, a bigger pool (with slides and pool toys) and a lazy river. Two diving boards and 3 big slides complete the scene and keeps people of all ages happy. If you're not a water lover, pull up a lawn chair, there are plenty. I like this way better than the big, over-priced water parks because its easy to keep up with the kids. We always have a great time. Noone ever wants to leave! There are also roomy dressing rooms and showers. Plenty of parking. Be sure to check the website for rules and approved swim attire. read more

This is more for the park and trails; this is an extremely nice park. There are plenty of walking and biking trails. There is a pond where you can fish or feed ducks, Two playgrounds for kids, pavilions to hold picnic/parties, the baseball fields, and of course the city water park. This is a nice place. We took our 2 year old son to the aquatic center and he really enjoyed it. He was a little intimidated by how strong the water pressure was on the toddler slide/stair area. I liked that they had a shaded area to sit under. And it seemed like the life guards were pretty attentive. My husband went over to the snack bar and said it looked like all they had was ice cream. If that's really the case then it would be good if they had more options. The rest of the park was nice as well, we'll be back soon I'm sure. read more

My kids and I love coming here. It's small enough to sit in the middle and keep track of your kids, yet large enough to keep my 4 and 12 year old entertained for HOURS. It's not easy finding a place a 4 and 12 year old BOTH like to play for that long, btw. It's awesome they have 2 diving boards here, as well as a selection of slides for all ages. The lifeguards are always on top of things, friendly reminding kids "no running" and constantly watching. I feel safe while here. Its always very clean. Love the snack bar, great selection and it's not a rip off. The only negative thing I can say is that we've come a few times in the past few years and their credit card machine was down, and we had to wait to get in. I now pay cash for the admission, just in case. Other than that, this is one of our favorite places to come every summer! read more

The recently redesigned. we went for the first time today. $10 for non residents. free life jackets if you need them. allow snacks and whatnot inside. plenty of lifegaurds. nice and clean. the only thing my kids really missed was there is no swimming pool. there are slides and kiddie pools and diving boards, but not an actual pool where they can just swim around. read more

Today, I went to the aquatics center and the front desk workers were playing solitaire while we tried to get in, but nothing can compare to how rude the women lifeguards, especially the one who wears orange sunglasses who doesn't wear a swimsuit. She YELLED at me because I hopped 2 times of the diving board, and she yelled at me because I was on the bottom ladder when we weren't supposed to be on the board itself. They have a strange definition of walking because I wasn't even pacing at all and some woman life guard screamed at me. I am not coming back here again. I used to come here as a young child and loved it, but now it has gone downhill. The woman who wears the orange glasses, I was going to report her. You can't even jump in on the side of the pool? AT ANY OTHER PUBLIC POOL, YOU CAN JUMP IN ON THE SIDE!!!! But no, go in on the ladder?!?!? I felt offended by the woman in the orange glasses though. These people here are, unfortunately, acting like overly controlling. I WILL NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE :(. I do not like how they run the place, and how rude the women lifeguards are. The men lifeguards, surprisingly were very polite, so this isn't entirely negative. Please do a better job, be polite (especially to the orange glasses woman worker, and the lifeguards) and let us have fun, without being controlled by you all! Thanks read more
