Small Soldier - baked egg wrapped in Italian Prosciutto
    Fellman B.

I went to this restaurant with a group of people after completing a workout at the nearby Nike Running Studio at Bee Cave Galleria. I didn't want to eat a lot because I was going to eat lunch later. I ordered just a small Americana coffee and a "Small Soldier" - a baked egg wrapped with Italian Prosciutto ($4.50). The coffee was listed on the menu as Americana/Misto - $4. I inquired what the Misto was, and the server said it came with steamed milk. That sounded good, so I ordered it. Usually the coffee comes first before the meal, but because of the big group (I suppose), we waited 20 minutes for our beverages. It finally came with the meal. And it took another 5-10 minutes to receive the tiny pitcher of steamed cream for the coffee. The coffee was almost cold by then. The Small Soldier was tasty, but extremely small for $4.50. When the bill came, I was shocked to see it came to $12.18! When I saw on the receipt that I was charged $5 for coffee instead of $4, I questioned the server. She said the steamed cream was $1.00, which I was not told about that when ordering, and it wasn't listed on the menu. When does one ever have to pay extra for cream for coffee? Never! I probably wouldn't have ordered it had I know that it was $1.00 extra; it felt like deception. And to be charged 20% gratuity when we waited 20 minutes for a beverage seemed unfair. They should have compensated us for the long wait! Though the meal was good, I will never go back there. (Plus, it's far for me to go.)

$2 charge for a tablespoon of cholula
    Tasha G.

Shamelessly unethical. I requested hot sauce for my sandwich and received a tablespoon of cholula. When presented with the bill, I was given a handheld device showing only the total, which I paid. Only after paying did I see an itemized bill showing I was erroneously charged $2 for "salsa." I told the waitress about the error on my bill because I did not order salsa. She said that was the charge for hot sauce. I told her that $2 is an unreasonable charge for a tiny amount of hot sauce. She blamed it on her mother who sets the prices. If a restaurant is going to charge a customer $2 for a tablespoon of cholula, they owe it to the customer to disclose it upfront and not surprise them with a bill. Food is lackluster. Service is incredibly slow. Poor experience all around.

Runaway Luna was cute but I think the food could have been a bit better! They had a lot of home goods for sale which was fun to browse. I had an herbal latte which was made with beetroot - it was supposed to have notes of pomegranate and rose but I could only taste beets and the large rose petal chunks were pretty but not something that's actually fun to eat. Not exactly what I was hoping for. The drinks did come with a quarter-sized mini cookie which was cute. My friend had a scone and she said it wasn't that great but she liked her iced coffee. I did enjoy their almond croissant though - the size was ample and the almond filling delicious with lots of almonds on top to give it a good crunch. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Our server was really kind and the ambiance was relaxing - I noticed some candles were burning which was cozy.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I'd like to try and come back but will try a different drink!

I really enjoy this place. They have tons of cute items and their food is delicious. I've been coming here for 2 yrs now and the staff are great. I never had any issues with the food, always fresh and tasty. My fave is the Honey Comb Latte.

Food and drinks 5/5 [[HIGHLIGHT]]Ambiance and Aesthetic 5/5[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Service and staff 5/5 Visiting from California and was pretty excited to check out this place. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I love the aesthetic and the staff were friendly and great.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Only giving this place 4 starts as the service was slow since there were only two of them working who seem to be doing multiple jobs as well. As for the price for their merch and menu, way over overpriced. I got the Lavender Spritz, a scone and two small red velvet and it was $29 something! Phew. Hoping for a faster service to improve if the price can't. Overall a good experience but it might be a one and done for me.

I won't turn down an invite here. If I come with intention to buy one cup of coffee, I'll always come out with more. They have a mini lifestyle store and serve other breakfast items such as croissants and fancy egg items. The presentation of the food and drinks are aesthetic. They do not have wifi however, probably bc they encourage you to enjoy your meal rather than be on your devices. So make sure you have hotspot if you intend to telework. Other than that, this coffee spot brings a unique Aussie perspective here in Bee Cave/Austin!

Was seated in about the middle of the restaurant along the wall. I love these seats cause you can see the coffee station and what's going on back there. Basically people watching. It was a little loud today, so I put on my head set and listened to some music. My server was Joyce and she was sweet. Took my order, which was breakfast tacos and a pineapple mimosa. My drink came super quick, and my food didn't take long at all. I mean like a couple minutes quick. Tacos were outstanding. And honestly as soon as I asked for a corn tortilla over the flour I thought, they're going to fall apart. But they didn't. And when you see the size of these tacos it will blow your mind that they didn't. Good corn tortilla. Scrambled eggs are fluffy, the potatoes are seasoned a little. They added bacon for me a that was chopped up inside the taco. Honestly it was a lot of food. I knew I wouldn't be able to finish it. But I did, and enjoyed every bite.

It was alot of families and friends gathering there as well as a few different people working on computers and reading. I ordered a cranberry mimosa was absolutely delicious. What really blew my mind was that the server told me we couldn't sub the toast on the breakfast plate with the tres leches French toast bc it wouldn't "taste right together". I'm now immediately put off because what kinda flavor yall have on your food to where sweet and savory don't go together. So we ordered masala chai, the mango lassi smoothie, breakfast potatoes and bacon. The chai and smoothie were both very disappointing. I love masala chai and drink it often enough to know that this chai tasted heavily watered down even thought it was freshly made. The smoothie didn't taste like mango at all, it tasted like mostly like nothing with a side of banana and oats. I wish they had the ingredients on the menu because my man wouldn't have ordered it if he knew there were bananas in it. The breakfast potatoes were pretty good after adding salt and pepper and the bacon was the best thing out of what we got. It was flavorful. Overall, not impressed with this place.

I sort of drifted the idea of wanting something that I don't usually order and that was the French onion soup and with Cerviche since it was a menu item for Happy hour. I was taken back by the size of the bowl was rather small for $10. But other than that it was really delicious and it was rather enough for me it will not fill you up but definitely it was enough food for me and the tropical Ceviche was served 'fresh with side of lemon slice. So what made the This dish so good was the fact that the tropical mixed fruit in the Cerviche gave it a blend of delicious flavors. I couldn't be happy I did order a house wine a cabernet and it had the tannins that was absolutely exactly what I wanted exactly what I ordered. Yes, I was a happy camper today for sure I definitely would recommend The French onion soup! Like I said this restaurant is a hit or miss what I mean to say is the fact that sometimes the dishes are not always consistent. If it's a very busy day you may not like your dish or if it's a very slow day then I would assume you'll be very happy with your meal like I was.

The salmon this time was ordered medium and it came out perfect on the edges but the inside was stringy and raw. I'm not talking pink, but the red, gooey, translucent flesh color. Waitress said "next time we'll order it well done." She was trying to be funny but it came off as a little dismissive as she didn't look at the fish. The chicken strawberry salad was very good except for the chicken. I thought a restaurant like this would know that a salad with bright acids shouldn't be mixed with fatty, lumpy chunks of dark meat. Apparently they use a rotisserie chicken that's stripped by a machine - then they just grab a handful of whatever comes out and throw it on the salad. For the cooks it's easy to remember - if it's slathered in sauce use dark meat, otherwise use breast meat. Service was attentive and the outside patio was nice.
