One couple said he offered insight of such magnitude that they could do nothing but look at each other and start laughing- it was dead on. Another couple tried marital counseling in the past without success until they switched- they didn't think a counselor like this existed. All say they have been helped by him. I was fortunate enough to choose Dr. Andrew Yoder for my ADHD testing…read more I've been to many counselors & I've always hated it for their lack of decorum or ability to see me for who I am. This was a better experience than I could have expected or hoped for! Dr. Yoder is very professional. The questionnaire you do for ADHD is very personal and yet I never felt judged at any time. During our telehealth session (That's what I think they are called anyway.) , he continued with the next question as if everything I said was perfectly natural. I felt seen & heard. I can't tell you how much I appreciate that. (Not used to that at all!) I will be able to start ADHD medicine soon and I'm excited to get my extreme highs down and be able to function without feeling so bad about myself. I was initially frustrated that I couldn't speak to a receptionist, as we all know what it's like to wonder if we can expect a call back at all from most places. Don't be upset if you have to leave a voice message. They WILL call you back and will treat you with kindness & respect. I would not hesitate to use Feathergill & Associates in the future.

Dr. Leonard was writiing a book at the time she was also counseling my daughter...she was very preoccupied with the book, bit we apparently were allowed to pass through Dr. Leonards perfect little world, and pay bills for awhile. The problems my daughter originally presented with were not taken seriously,nor werr they addressed satifactorily. In fact my daughters problems worsened under Dr. Leonards care, and we eventually terminated ties with the practice. I attended a few sessions with my daughter, and Dr. Leonard mismanaged the joint appointments, and was disrespectful to me as well as doing her best to position my daughter against me. I do not believe the joint sessions were neccesary nor were they helpful to me or my daughter I asked my daughter to compare Dr. Leonard retrospectively to her current psychologist, and she stated that Dr. Leonard " did not do a very good job" and that she felt as though her sessions with Dr. Leonard were actually detrimental. I would not return to Dr. Leonard for help for myself or my family.

He didn't believe me when I told him a few things I had experienced with my medication and talked about hobby Drs who only work part time. I assumed he meant women. The last I knew, they would need to have the same education he did. How they decide to use that education is a personal choice and not a hobby. I would not recommend.

She was short and condescending before hanging up. The conversation was completely normal and polite on my end. When I called back she sounded heavily annoyed. I've been struggling for years, I'm trying to take the first steps to a better life. I guess that's a problem for some. That's the world we live in.
