My daughter recently joined Orange Theory and we realized that her school/everyday sneakers weren't the right ones for her. Orange Theory and several friends suggested we go to Runner's Depot to have her evaluated and fitted. The gentleman who worked with my daughter was very nice and asked her questions, watched her walk, checked to see what her arch type was and fitted her with sneakers. He brought out 3 different sneaker brands/styles and showed her how to properly make sure her foot was sitting correctly. She ultimately ended up with the Brooks and she was very happy. We also ended up getting her an arch support, as it turned out she is flat footed. As I sat there listening to all of the staff, they are all very thorough and want you to love your choice. The Weston store location is very organized, but lacks any accountability. They allow customers to run in shoes to test them so half of what is in stock has already been used. I purchased shoes which I was able to put on in store, unfortunately tore my meniscus in my right knee and was not able to use the shoe outside of the store. I went to return the shoe, but Horestus who sold me the shoe was unable to give me a refund due to their hypocritical policies. He said they would not be able to refund my money due to them "not being in a state that we can put on the floor to sell" even though that is the exact state he sold them to me in. I am truly disappointed in the experience, I would recommend staying away from this place to buy any of your goods, just go in there to test the shoe and buy it online since all they deal with is used shoes that they wont let you return since everyone runs in the stock they have on the floor. read more

Stopped by because I wanted to get sneakers for my flat feet. I have custom orthotics but the shoes I had were not supporting my feet very well. Best experience at a shoe store. They evaluated how I walk, then suggested several different shoes and I found a saucing that I liked the way it fit. Excellent shoe, perfect fit, they were so kind and patient. I also found some socks by saucing that are comfy and moisture wicking. Will definitely be back. As a matter of fact, I came home and the shoes were on Amazon for the exact same price. The Runner's Depot in Weston is fantastic! As a novice, I came here really not knowing what the right running/walking shoe would be for me. One of their staff, David, helped me and he was knowledgeable and thorough. David looks young but don't let that fool you, this youngster knows his stuff! I was absolutely impressed by their level of service and the customer centric approach. They spent an hour with me, explaining the differences and trying on several shoes and socks, multiple times to make sure I felt good with my choice. Mike was very nice and I prefer coming here instead of driving to Aventura due to the insane traffic. I don't remember the lady's name but she was very very helpful and very knowledgable about the shoes. I went in to switch my Asics for the Brooks Adrenaline in which they didn't really have the color I wanted but they had a different color I fell in love with. I really don't like to spend so much money on running shoes but in the end it's worth it! On top of that I get a discount from my Running Team and they all have a list of whom is a part of the running teams so don't try to scam them cause they will know! I had a very uncomfortable interaction with a lady attendant. The store has very limited inventory yet I felt pressured to purchase my running shoes because they had done a balance test for proper fitting. The attendant seemed very annoyed because I couldn't make up my mind and changed her attitude towards me the moment I mentioned I had a budget which I wished to stick to (this was 30 seconds after I entered the store). I've never had such a positive experience in a store before! Recently took up a new walking routine, and my sneakers were killing me and causing blisters. So, after asking around, it was suggested that I go to a specialty store and have them fit me for the right shoe. I did a search on line, and this one came up with 5 stars only 2 miles from me. So, I figured I'd check it out. I needed help. My feet were pure blisters in my other shoes. The shop is neat and clean. But, the best part is the staff. Mike helped me find the right shoe for my needs. I never felt rushed. He was very thorough and knowledgeable, as well as personable! As I tried on different pairs, he'd ask questions until we found the perfect shoe for me. I have never had such a comfortable sneaker on my foot in my entire life! Ended up in the Brooks Ghost 11. I will definitely be going back in the future when I need new ones. Aside from that, he also mentioned a walking/running group they have weekly. Weston has its own running store and its a Runner Depot, part of the Runner's Depot chain. I am a fan of the Davie store which is way bigger than this one. The Weston store is a lot smaller but it is very nice. The have less inventory but they will get you whatever you want if you're not in a hurry. I went in to look for new running shoes and the manager Mike was super nice. He evaluated my gait and had me try on several pair and run on the treadmill. He's extremely knowledgeable about the differences in the brands and was able to tell me which type was better for me. He didn't have the color I wanted but was able to order it from the other store and will call me. I like supporting the local store instead of going to Davie or a larger chain. Runners Depot also has the gadgets runners love, hats and socks and pouches for phones. They have workshops and clubs too. They have sign up there for some of the local races and also the all important GU, and sports energy snacks for runners. We need this place in Weston and they are good for the runners community. read more

I hadn't been to a runner's specialty store in many years but with myltiple foot woes and new pains to accompany them (mostly associated with flat feet), I figured it was about that time. Kelly was really fantastic. She evaluated my current running shoes, listened to the issues I was having, evaluated my gait and gave some helpful suggestions. I'm hoping she also got a good laugh when I hopped on the treadmill in full business attire to test her top picks (perfectly normal). The pricing here is right on with going rates and I did not feel pressured to purchase. Kelly also made it a point to tell me about the exchange program and encouraged me to bring the shoes back if they did not eliminate some of my existing problems. I've since tested my new shoes out and am happy to report that the foot pain that brought me there is no longer a problem. The only thing I will note is that this is a smaller shop so colors and sizes may be limited but they can surely order what's not is stock. Overall a positive experience. read more

I was pleasantly surprised to find the runners depot in Weston, right by the bagel shop I frequent. Just by coincident I needed a running accessory which I was planning to buy from on line, but I decided to stop by and bada bing,They had exactly what I needed! I even got gel shot I needed in my fav flavor. I like the fact the staff wasn't pushy, let me take my time to check out the store (not that big space just so you know...), and ended up chatting which lead to discover they have running class. This location also has the treadmill, and shoe expert will fit the right pair of shoes, which is really what separates local running store (like runners depot) to on-line mega store. Keep in mind, this store doesn't carry huge inventory, but the store will get what you want with little help from UPS and FEDEX. I hope they do well and stay in this little sleepy town. read more

They brought out 4 to 5 different pairs of shoes until she was satisfied with the one that fit and felt the best. Each one tested on the treadmill and walking around in them.
