Adrian does amazing work. Plain and simple. I brought in a purse and he repaired the strap that was splitting. The new strap looks great. He has repaired a couple pair of shoes of mine as well. The shoes have held up well. The only thing was I came back to pick up my purse a coule hours after he said it would be ready, and it was not. He actually just started working on the purse at that time. I had to wait 20 minutes for the purse and was in a rush. I would say to give him an extra day after he says the item will be ready. Otherwise, great work!! The positive thing about having to wait is that I saw the attention and detail he puts into the repair and it is really amazing. read more

If I could give this place a zero I would. I left my brand new out of the box Valentinos to get protective soles. When I picked up, they installed men sports shoes soles on $1000 shoes. When I picked up the order they kept the receipt/order so when I called back 20 minutes after I picked up, I didn't have the order number to provide however my shoes were the only Valentinos in the place. They pretended like they didn't know who I was. It was definitely my bad for leaving my shoes in a place that has no experience or photos with designer shoes but if you don't know how to work Italian fine leather, I'll respect you more if you say don't. 0 STARS. I was taking in a small cream-colored handbag for repair. The owner, Mr. Adrian, appears to have the communication and intelligence of a guppy. The bag had been tucked away for a while brand new. In fact, I never wore it until last week. After this first time wearing it, one of two straps broke where the strap attached to the body. When I arrived, I saw Adrian repairing a shoe. The bell went off to indicate there was a customer. He rever looked up, so I said "hello." When he finally looked up, it was with a bothered look. What else can you expect from someone who smells that much glue all day long? Anyhow, I ingnored the scowl and inquired if they did bags and he confirmed. Long and short, he took the bag and said he would reattach the strap but one would be shorter than the other and I was not in love with this option. Who wears a bag with two different strap lengths? After our brief discussion, he agreed to shorten and reattach the other strap as well and we agreed on a price. I noticed his fingers were extremely soiled (with black polish) but still allowed him to take the bag. However, I asked him nicely when he finally works on the job to try to not transfer any black shoe residue from any black shoe repairs so the bag would be kept as clean as possible. Mind you, there was a thin, faint stain that he pointed out on the bag but this was not a major issue. Long and short, instead of simply saying "sure, we'll keep the bag as clean as you brought it in," Adrian continued to counter, rebut and ignore my request. I explained to him the communication was not working and I would no longer need his services. We both agreed. I said "perfect," and I was on my way. No, I would not recommend Adrian, The Shoe Master. AMAZING!!! My new dog has a thing for my shoes so I have been looking for a shoe repair. It's located in a plaza the sign outside is pretty big so I don't think you can miss it. The prices are reasonable. He pretty much redid my whole left sandal for $25. The work they did was great. I wish I had taken a before photo. I mean, I took an after photo, but still, I should have taken a before photo. Adrian REALLY lives up to his name. He is the Shoe Master! It all started with a pair of Uggs. A pair of black and tall Uggs that I've had circa 2011. These are my tried and true pair and they've been with me everywhere. In the measly cold of Miami, in the actual cold of NYC - you get the idea. I went to Albany, NY over a year ago. I saw snow for the first time. Lesson learned: DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT WEAR UGGS IN SNOW. The suede just doesn't do well with snow. Mind you, the snow was unexpected, but I still had to deal with it as who carries extra boots around? Anyone? Ahem. Anyway, I went to Adrian because I am a procrastinator, need my Uggs, and have no idea how to take snow off shoes even with a clean-up kit. Also, there's just something nice about having someone else do stuff for you. I went in, showed the monsters, and $28 later, my babies look pristine. In fact, they look brand new and like I can get many more years out of them! It only took a week to get them cleaned, but hey, that's all he needed to convince me to take all the piles of shoes I have in the back of my closet to get fixed to him. I trust Adrian with my shoes and so should you. In the meantime, I'm going to start prepping my load. Believe me, it may take a week or two, but I will be back with more work. I came across this place on Yelp because I wanted to restore my Gucci sandals back to good condition. I wish I had taken a before picture but my sandals had a lot of scratch marks that had lifted the color from sides from normal wear. Adrian the shoe master is above all a master in his field, but he charges reasonable prices. He is polite and kind. When I was there the first time, there was an older couple in the store. Adrian crafted a shoe that helped the older gentleman walk after being in a wheel chair for months. They hugged Adrian and thanked him, and I felt like crying. When is the last time you saw that at a shoe repair shop? Anyway, Adrian fixed three of my purses that I would have had to throw away otherwise. I have been going to this Shoemaker for over 20 years now. He used to be in Pembroke Lakes Mall by Dillard's. Then, maybe ten years ago or so he moved to Pines Boulevard behind Starbucks. FYI that Starbucks is a former Pizza Hut so it looks like a funny looking Starbucks. His sidekick has been working with him since Pembroke Lakes Mall. I believe they are the only two people who work there. Anyway, onto the most important part of this review. Adrian really is a master at Shoe Repair. He is very talented and very patient. I am choosy with who does my clothing alterations and shoe repairs. I like how my repairs are completed when promised. I also like the fair pricing here. I have a shoe repair store right behind where I live. I went there a couple of times but they charge way too much for the same job. I don't mind driving a few miles to Adrian. They accept credit cards including American Express. They do ask for full payment when you drop off your shoes which is to be expected. read more

He stretched all my size 13 dress shoes! It's extremely difficult to find 13 eee but even then I need them stretched. On his first attempt they didn't stretch enough and he took them back for free and did it again! Great guy, great service and will bring all my leather goods to him! All of my fellow heel lovers know that beautiful sound of fresh heels hitting the ground. The feel of tight leather gripping your feet, lifting your ankles and legs strong when you walk out of the car and into a room. Im sure you also know when that sound that shrieks.... WHOA check out those shoes...... and also the sound that sound like horse just galloped in the room. THE BOLTED SHOE SOUND. Thats right when the heel hits the floor and all you hear clip, clop, clip, clop. Well that same exact thing happened to my brand new shoes. I didn't realize how demanding my new occupation had on my heels. Down two pairs and one to go my husband surprised me with my heels completely restored. I asked him how he got it done so fast (thinking I had to wait till the weekend) and he said he stopped by Adrian's. Not only is this joint affordable but they offer 5 star service. Apparently when the gentleman found out we lived a bits away he immediately dropped what he was doing just so we didn't have to make a second trip out. He also didn't charge an arm and a leg. Adrian is a God send. I arrived in Ft Lauderdale for an interview on Monday and to my surprise the sole of my shoe was hanging off. I called Adrian from finding him on google. I told him that I had an interview in an hour and that I was in dire need for an emergency fix. Adrian told me to just. bring my shoes. After 15 mins of waiting Adrian returned my shoe.
