I'm a cynic when it comes to facial/cosmetic tattooing. But after a lot of research and several "word of mouth" references I decided to check out Runway Brows. First thing to note about this business is it is all paperless. Meaning that every transaction is done by email. Payment can be in the form of cash or credit and the process is very easy. Runway Brows has an Instagram page, so you can get a good idea of what you are looking for. The pricing is on par with most brow places...and expect that you'll pay a deposit at your 3 hour initial consult and prior to getting your first session completed. The office space is clean, well decorated and simply elegant. Coffee, tea and water are offered for free while you wait! The process for brow work is based on that you choose (microblading, powder brow, combination) but expect a 3 hour session to begin with and a 2 hour session for touchups... The process is relatively painless, and healing takes time. So don't freak out on slight defects. I had such a great experience at Runway Brows. My sister and I went in to get matching tattoos and then I did an additional Lotus flower as well. Paula's shop is so comfortable. It's beautiful, clean, smells great and was so inviting. Paula was so nice and easy to talk to. I specifically wanted someone who specialized in fine line and she took multiple photos I had sent her of the lotus and came up with her own design of them all which was perfect and the signature tattoo I got was spot on. I've been nothing but extremely pleased with my eyebrows after Paula worked her magic on them. I had a scar on one eyebrow that made it look like two sometimes and a jittery muscle spasm on that side that makes it look like a raised eyebrow 24/7 due to surgery for a bit of cancer many moons ago. Paula is AMAZING!!!!!!! Not only is she a bomb eyebrow artist, but she is a genuinely nice person! I am actually sad that I am done with my process and won't see her again until 2-3 yrs from now for a retouch lol. She made my experience so enjoyable! This type of procedure can be very nerve wrecking, I mean it's an almost permanent procedure, on your FACE lol! But soon as I walked into Runway Brows I immediately felt at ease! We laughed and talked through my whole procedure, during the initial procedure and my 6 week touchup. Ok now to my brows, lol, they are bomb.com!!! When I say I can't stop looking at them and it's been 2 months lol! My brows came out PERFECT the first go round! I needed very little touchup done at my 6 week appt. The shape was perfect. I went a little more intense (darker), but that was it. They healed perfect, my healing process was just as Paula described the stages. The process itself is almost painless. I only say almost because I have a high tolerance for pain so I don't want to say painless, because some one else may feel it a little more than me. But I guarantee you won't think it hurts lol! No one else's work came close to how good and PERFECT hers is. I had my consultation this past Friday and she was soooo patient with me because I had to bring my 13 month old son with me. She was soooo patient with me and didn't seem bothered that he was fussy. She drew the exact shape and everything ((with my SON in my lap moving all over mind u)) that I envisioned without me even telling her. It is like she read my mind. She is a true pro. I was sooooo hype when she messaged me saying that she had an opening on Sunday since someone else didn't confirm. When Sunday came I was a bit nervous but that quickly went away with how down to earth she is. The mapping out of the brows takes the longest because she makes sure everything is precise. The actual procedure itself didn't even hurt. It was actually kind of relaxing. The tweezing was worse than the procedure LOL. She was also very patient with me because my damn eyes would NOTTTT stop watering since they are superrrrrr sensitive. She shading didn't take long at ALLLLL! From start to finish it was about 2 hours and the end result was perfect. Everything is sooo nice and symmetrical and healing beautifully. She was VERYYYY thorough with aftercare instructions. She showed me how to take care of my brows and provided a cute little care package for them. Also please don't forget to tip her for her hard work as well! I'm telling you..she is seriously the best hands down.
