I had my eyelash fill here. I was looking for eyelash extension places in Newport News area and this is the one I could find closest one. Studio inside is very clean and modern. Owner/Eyelash Extension Artist Latoya is very friendly and professional. I wanted to have the full set glamorous look and she did exactly what I asked for. It can be pricey for the first timer to have the eyelash extension but you get what you pay for. I've tried so many different eyelash places and there is lots lots of place that doesn't know what they are doing and lower the price to get customers. But at Eye Deux Latoya knows what she's doing. I would not recommend coming here for their permanent eyeliner application. After two sessions the liner was barely visible and what remained appeared a greenish-blue hue (i took proper care and precautions remaining out of the sun etc) Also the liner was not placed evenly on both sides and not placed on my eyeline. I had to pay almost three times the amount I paid to get the eyeliner on to get it lasered off at a dermatologist office. The lady who applied the liner was very welcoming and kind and I can't speak for their other services but do not recommend permanent eyeliner here. I feel that the ink they use if cheap and that eyeliner is not as common so she did not have as much experience. Giving 2 stars because the office was clean and the woman was welcoming and professional. read more

Best place to go in the area for a lash lift-they look amazing! I usually get them done in another part of Virginia and am glad I found this place. Overall a very comforting and professional environment (which is a must considering I have a very sensitive eye area so procedures can be nerve wracking). Latoya does amazing work! read more

I would give this company zero stars if it was an option. I scheduled an appointment and received confirmations by email and text because no one actually ever takes your call. Everything is done through an obviously faulty computer system. I drove over an hour in rush-hour traffic from Chesapeake to Yorktown, to find the building locked up, lights out and the owner to explain to me, when I was finally able to get her on the phone, that she doesn't know how that happened or how I could've received a confirmation email and text message when nobody has been in the building for the past week and there was nothing she could do. There was never an offer of compensation, never an offer to reschedule for another date, at the other location or even an attempt to help me. She just kept repeating how she didn't know how that was even possible as if I was fabricating a story. Completely unprofessional. Don't waste your time! read more

I just went here to get a lash lift and I was initially not satisfied with the service. While the environment was serene and the staff was wonderful, I was not pleased with my initial lash lift. I have very straight lashes and it they didn't curl first time around, so I was left with eyelashes that looked the exact same as the ones I started with. So contacted Victoria (the lady who did my lift) and I expressed my concerns. She handled it very professionally and took me in 1 day after I called. My second lash lift looked AMAZING. Eye Deux has two studios - I booked my appointment at the Yorktown branch for eyebrow microblading. The salon is clean and 'zen'. The owner Latoya was warm and sweet, and after filling out forms we went over eyebrow shapes and expectations. When we are done I am so happy with the results that I'm taking the time to share with anyone contemplating this. For the eyebrows microblading uses feather strokes that looks more like your hair, for a more natural looking effect. I've seen the price ranges vary from $2-800 so Eye Deux falls right about in the middle with what I consider a professional: Latoya knows her stuff. I had my eyebrows done by Latoya and I have nothing but good things to say! I missed my initial appointment due to misreading the email (totally my fault). She worked with me and stayed late to complete the mircroblading session so that I wouldn't lose my deposit. She also did my lashes while the color was sitting on my brows, free of charge. She was so friendly and took her time with me, even after I missed my appointment and was causing her to be at work for almost 2 extra hours. So disappointed. I am a new customer and have had my lashes done a couple of times. Unfortunately the first time they didn't last and was disappointed in one eye after the last lash fill and never received a call back after leaving three to four messages. I even drove to the Va Beach location only to find them closed during posted business hours. I have been getting my lashes done for the last five months and would not recommend this salon for the poor customer service. For the price there are much better salons out there who will actually stand behind their work. read more
