Server was patient as one of our group had gone to the restroom. He got a double cheeseburger and I decided on a spicy Jack burger. Frings because why not onion rings and French fries? No reason. The onion rings were so good. Onions crisp inside and not soggy. Fries were a little salty for me. The restaurant was clean and so was the women's restroom. They have EV charging available in the far end of the parking lot. Full from lunch.

    Total about $22

Driving through from California and we saw the signs off the free way and decided to try it out for lunch. Staff was great and helpful, service was quick and the food was good. We were there after the local church was out and unfortunately the locals were not very welcoming. So it made It a little uncomfortable.

Good quick fast food...I got there a few minutes before they closed and they had no problem serving me...Friendly workers...I got the Philly Runza which was tasty...It seemed like the meat has a pepper seasoning for some sort on it...Onion rings were decent...If you're an bigger guy or are hungry get two Runza's because one just won't cut it...It will run you around $20 without a drink but at least you won't be hungry.

In a state with over 20 Runza's, I can't believe I've been to this location twice. I guess North Platte is just the perfect stop for me when driving from Denver to Omaha. Service was good. The workers there were friendly and took my order quickly. A Runza is basically like a hot pocket with ground meat and cabbage. Two Runzas filled me up and put me in a food coma as I was driving. I would've liked mine more if they didn't use as much salt. My wife liked hers with mushrooms. If in Nebraska, this is what you should be eating. It's better than eating a burger everyday of a road trip. It's a regional thing. I'll probably be back since there is a pit stop (Walmart) next door. See you in a few years Runza!

On a cross country trip I vowed to eat a regional or local places only. Runza fit that description. I ordered the Mushroom Runza meal. It was simple. I think this must have been the loose meat sandwich that was referenced on the TV sitcom Roseanne. I think I got the onion rings and tea for my drink. Not quite sure I remember. I also got the smallest cone I could order because I don't need all too much dessert when I am just sitting all day driving. Anyway...the food was fine. No better or worse than subway or taco bell. If I was young and much more healthy and lived in the area I might make it a regular stop. It is very "white bread" with not a ton of new flavors. Just sort of a comfort food type of place. I would go again while traveling if nothing else just to show my wife what this Runza place is all about.

We traveled to the beautiful state of Nebraska from Massachusetts. From my research Runza a beloved food in Nebraska! We were very excited to try this interesting sandwich. While traveling to North Platte, there was a Runza right off of the highway. Oh boy!!!! We were very hungry too, had been driving for about 4 hours. (Flew in from Boston to Denver, stayed in another section of Nebraska before the Runza experience) This place was packed I immediately thought I was going to be on for the best treat ever... A nice little teenager took my order, and I was eagerly awaiting this sandwich which I'd heard so much about!!! Sadly, my husband and I both found the food revolting.. I ordered the original, he got his with cheese. We also ordered onion rings. I am not a picky eater. I love basically everything. This sandwich tasted like a dirty diaper ( never tried a dirty diaper, but I imagine it would taste just like a Runza) Oh my gosh it was so gross. The bread was flavorless, there was some itty bitty bits of mystery meat in it, mixed with super disgusting cabbage. The onion rings were awful too. Tasted like frozen food. My stomach is made of lead, and this crappy food made me feel sick for hours. I am dumbfounded why it's so beloved out here. It wasn't inexpensive either!!! Give it a try in any case. Perhaps we visited a sub par Runza???? Won't try it ever again regardless.

We were going back and forth on whether we wanted the Chimichanga or the Wet Burrito to split , As my husband is ordering the food in spanish to the lady behind the counter we decided to get the wet burrito. Now granted we didn't wait long but when our food was up she hands me a regular burrito. I tell the man behind counter " this was suppose to me a wet burrito " , the women behind the counter immediately comes around the man with so much attitude and says to me " no it was a super burrito " , i politely explain to them that my husband and i never discussed a super burrito and that we wanted the wet burrito and the lady was adamant on telling me that's not what was ordered . My husband walks up and also tries to explain to her that this is not what we ordered but it's okay that they charge us extra as long as they can just fix it , the women immediately tells the man " just give them their money back " and after that the women proceeded to then make a racial mark stating in spanish " see i told you, this is how they are here in the united states ". There was absolutely no need for the rude and terrible customer service when all we were asking was to fix the order. I would not recommend this place to anyone and if i give negative stars i would. TERRIBLE!!

Alas- it was one of the worst eating experiences on our 2 week road trip. Biggest problem- only one server for the entire place and she had to do it all except for actually running the grill. She did try, but could not keep up with a full house on a Friday night for dinner. Took her 10 minutes just to bring menus, and at least a half hour to get food to us. When food was brought out we had an item missing- a shake that was never made or brought to the table even 45 minutes after ordering it. The Philly cheese steak was cold and had clearly been made and stood for some time before being brought out. The BLT was cold, as was the chilli. The chicken on the chicken salad had also clearly sat for quite a while before being delivered to the table. Another big problem was cleanliness. The floor was dirty. The room had flies buzzing around. At one point the server dropped a tray of coffee mugs and clearly broke several. She didn't sweep them up. A few minutes later, a busser came out from the back and kicked a broken piece of cup along the floor. He just left it there rather than picking it up. It was still there in the middle of the floor when we left. They did remove the shake that never came and the 2 items that were cold and not eaten from the bill. I think the server was doing her best but only so much one person can do.
