I recently bought a new car and came to this place on a recommendation from significant other that…read moreworked here. Well since this was state certified inspection center and I was stuck in town for the week I thought why not. I got my car fixed. Had to get new tires and realignment. Everything looked good. I thought they had done a swell job. However it wasn't until a couple weeks later when I took it to my mechanic that I realized the people at Royer Tire Service only did a patchwork job. This enabled me to get me passed inspection and ultimately protected them from the state if my car were to fall apart on the road. Although they did a patchwork job that allowed me to pass inspection, I wish they would have took the time to assess the other areas of my car that were in need of repair. For instance, they originally said I needed four new tires which I agreed to. When I came back the next day, they had ordered only two. A couple of weeks later at my mechanic, I realize that not only do a need those two additional tires, but also a kit to fix the realignment. So the moral of this story is use a mechanic that you are familiar with and be aware of those you are unaware of who do patchwork to get you by. It'll only cost you more in the long run.

I feel like you can't really trust a lot of car shops now a days, but we trust Barney's! The service was so fast and reliable. I had gotten told at a Dobbs in a bigger city that I needed to replace my shocks and struts and it would cost me about $1000. I took it to Barney's and they ran a bunch of tests and within an hour they told me there's nothing wrong with and I don't need them fixed for a while. They get us in every time without fail. The staff is kind and trust worthy and keep it real with you about your car and their opinions. I really appreciate the honesty!

We went in today to visit with Les to figure out how to resolve the issue of the broken parts and Les screamed at us through the window that we could warranty out the parts and it wasn't his problem. Les Held up the paper that my husband signed yesterday to get his refund for the alignment and said that my husband signed the paperwork and it wasn't Les' problem. Les ran out the door after my husband and attempted to open the door while his wife screamed at us calling us tweakers. All we wanted was info on how to correct the broken parts, not a brawl. Completely unprofessional. We will not be back. Money isn't the principle, we got our money back. Disrespect and the way people are treated is important when running a business. I would have given a 5 star review had we not been treated so poorly.
