    It's 2023 and I wanted to write a quick review to note the huge improvements this business has made…read moreover the past year. In the past it was a little difficult to find help and now there appear to be people stationed all over the building regularly. They have nice register attendants and usually have everything I need for my projects. If you've gone in the past and had issue with help or something, try them again. They're doing good things.

    People before you buy an appliance at Lowe's please read. Bought the top of the line whirlpool…read morerefrigerator 9 months ago. The compressor went out. Total time to get fixed 1 month. Lost 1200 worth of meds and food spoiled. Whirlpool and Lowe's are piss poor to work with 7 hours to even get service scheduled. Store manager tells me it is whirlpool problem. Did I mention I purchased the 5 year extended warranty. Not worth the paper printed on. Lowe's would sell me a mini fridge to keep replacement meds at a controlled temperature. How about this Sam's did just that. I guess since covid money grows on trees. Neat thing about shitty customer service is eventually you don't have problems with bad vendors products because you are out of business. I should have got a clue when the 3rd party vendor slammed it off there delivery truck did I mention they were from Missouri and my service company is from Kentucky. I sure don't want to have this happen to you.

    Good Afternoon, Our…read moreoverall experience with Lowes today in Cape Girardeau, MO was abhorrent. Chris, the cabinet guy was extremely unpleasant to work with. The countertop guy was on lunch and we were told someone else was going to help us. In comes Chris, and right off the bat it seemed like he was annoyed at being bothered. He made us feel like complete morons the entire time and then tried gaslighting me when I took offense to the way he was treating us. I almost snapped, but I had to calm myself down. Joking is one thing, this guy was berating me with pretty demeaning comments. I get you gotta work buddy, we all do. He needs to work on his customer service skills. He was unnecessarily abrasive and snickered at the way we said the name of some countertop (like it matters, get to work chum). He snickered when he read the measurements we took of our countertops at home, as if they weren't going to come out and measure them anyways at a later point in time. My wife and I felt extremely uncomfortable the entire time we were in there and he's pretty fortunate I didn't snap on him like I was super close to doing. Chris was straight up friction and extremely unpleasant to work with. We were both in shock of how rude he was. It's one thing to have a saltine cracker (dry) sense of humor, but it's another to constantly make someone feel like they are ignorant. Put Chris in the back where other customers don't have to have unpleasant experiences with him.

Their kitchen cabinet and remodel sales associates couldn't find their way out of a paper bag with both ends opened up and the sides laid open. My s-i-l had the misfortune of using Lowe's to remodel her kitchen. What a cluster f*ck. Lowe's ordered the wrong cabinets and end pieces, twice. What should've been an easy 2 to 3 week remodel job took over 9 months to complete. Once the right cabinets were installed, the installer messed up the end pieces, so new pieces were ordered. This took over 2 months because no one at Lowe's could be responsible enough to follow through on the orders. Did I mention it was a total cluster f*ck. Then, cabinets above the stove were installed wrong, so that the only way to open up one cabinet door was to open the door on the microwave above the stove top. The exposed full wall piece to close in the refrigerator was butchered by the hack installer so that it was an inch too short to fit where it was supposed to go. So, the new panel was ordered. Or was it? After patiently waiting for a month, my s-i-l found out that the part WASN'T ordered at all. She has dealt with the department managers, store managers, regional manager, and they still couldn't get their act together. But, alas, the kitchen remodel is finally completed, 10 months after signing the contract. So, if you're looking to blow some remodel money needlessly, and want to have 9 months of pain and aggravation, by all means, let Lowe's be in charge of your remodel. You were warned.

    I love Wild Dave's! They peddle a little bit of everything but mainly quality mowers to utility…read moretrailers. You can even rent yourself a storage unit onsite. Hell even pick yourself up a designer wrist watch at a very fair price. They also do small engine repair. Everything they do with utmost professionalism. Inventory is usually well stocked and they do finance if you want to pick up a new Gravely for those big lawns out there. This family is the pinnacle of good people, and I applaud them pulling their sponsorship of the Du Quoin State Fair. The state of Illinois is run by fascists and it is high time we ALL started standing up to their bullshit.

    So I contacted Brandon at Wild Dave's about my Gravley mower possibly having a blown head gasket…read moreand asked about what it would cost to repair. Brandon told me about $75.00 or so ,I was assuming per side ,which was fine. I then asked about worse case scenario a complete rebuild. I was told $800.00 give or take which was also fine .This process was to take about 2 weeks barring the holiday and off days. Fast forward to today about 3 weeks later. I go to get the mower because I was told it was done. Brandon told me the mower runs but still leaks oil so they had called Kohler for tech support on the issue, Kohler says possible warped head. I go pay the lady inside,she told me Brandon was going to get the mower. Brandon brought the mower around and loaded it on the trailer. I looked and the front tire that was flat and the bead was broken. I asked about the tire and Brandon told me to pull the mower over and he would air it up. I finished strapping the mower and left. I didnt even get a thank you for your bussiness from either one. I get home and unload the mower and it didnt have anymore power than it went to the shop for. So basically I got head gaskets and a muffler for $800.00 I left a review about the service received. Brandon was not happy about the review and told me since I left the review there was nothing he could do!! I was and am still pissed. I will never go to or reccomend this place for anything. $800.00 to take a busted mower to get fixed and leave with a busted mower same issues? Brandon also hung up on me also so the customer service is horrible as well. I understand making money and not being able to please everyone, He said they went through the motor and it took 6 hours labor but they didnt check ti see if the head was warped ?? I am no mechanic but I can guess at what's wrong and just randomly change parts until I get it right. Being a dealer and "repair shop"" Was the only reason I went there. Never again
