Consistently Exceptional Service at Hucks on South Main Street…read more Hucks in Madisonville, KY has been my go-to fueling station for years--and with over 11,000 points from fuel alone, that says a lot! The staff here are always kind, friendly, and genuinely committed to helping customers however they can. Whether you need a receipt reprint, directions, or just a quick moment of kindness on a busy day--they show up with service. Inside, the store is consistently clean and well-organized, making even a quick stop feel like a pleasant experience. They keep shelves stocked, the floors spotless, and coffee fresh. Wait times are impressively short, and the whole atmosphere reflects reliability and care. Plus, there's ample parking and easy access from the street, which makes it convenient whether you're in a rush or just passing through. This location sets the standard for what a fueling station should be. - Martha Grace in Action Ministry

I walked into Hucks on south main street in Madisonville. I…read morewas hoping to get a chicken dinner and potato wedges. However, as I approached counter where the chicken is normally kept, all of the steam tables were empty and the only thing available were a few Pre-packaged items. Nothing I wanted in that quantity. And I was OK with that. I would just get something somewhere else. So, I started walking to the door when a rather short woman asked me if there was something I needed. I responded "I guess not" That was about 15 feet from the door. As I OPENED the door, I heard her say out loud "I GUESS NOT!" In a MOCKING type of voice... As I reopened the door, I ask "WHAT WAS THAT?" and she said she was just telling the other lady (that was ALSO standing there when I said that" what I said. I commented "NO, you were MOCKING ME" She turned her back to me and raised her voice as and said "HAVE A GOOD NIGHT" and I said YOU TOO and she yelled "GOD BLESS YOU" and I said YOU TOO. She was VERY RUDE and disrespectful. And she is not the FIRST one that has ever been short with me.. Honestly with the way this company allows this kind of behavior and allows loiters to hang out front sitting on the products like Bottled water cases (who wants to purchase a case that someone's ASS was sitting on, and even ONE of the loiters is a WELL KNOWN SEX OFFENDER, I will NEVER go back. I'll buy my fuel and drinks elsewhere. One vehicle alone that I drive holds about $90 every time I fill up and it is a company vehicle that I drive.. AND, I'll tell all my friends, family and coworkers to do the same. There is TOO much competition in this world for put up with this crap from anyone! Especially where I am spending MY money!

Service Plazas that are built between both directions of the expressway make so much more sense than having a rest area on each side...but that's not what this is about. This Hucks is huge! It's spacious and well lit, and has just about everything you need from a service plaza. The entryways are clean and well maintained. It was a rainy day and staff was frequently checking the lobby and mopping up water that had been tracked in. I love the barn wood décor. It's homey and feels rustic and outdoorsy. There is no end to the stuff you can buy here. Sandwiches. Snacks. Soft drinks (both bottle/can and fountain). Donuts. Fresh sandwiches. Rotisserie chicken. Dippin' Dots!®. There's also non-food related stuff like Baseball caps. Apparel. Basic car/truck supplies. A lot more stuff than I would normally imagine. All of the racks and shelves and displays are well-spaced so you don't feel crowded. The only staff member we interacted with was a cashier and she pretty unenthusiastic about the whole ordeal (we about a donut, some beef jerky, and two bottles of water) and I got the impression she'd rather be somewhere else. This kind of service plaza is what most should aspire to. Clean, well-stocked, and convenient.
