The store is clean every time I visit, and tonight was no exception. I stopped in to buy some things for different causes I support, and while I was there, I met a young man who used to be homeless. Hearing part of his story -- and knowing he now has a job and stability -- reminded me how important this organization is. I want to spotlight two employees, Hannah and Tricia, who helped me with my purchase. They were very kind young ladies, assisting me and several other customers even though the store was busy. Their patience and professionalism stood out. Goodwill uses the money from donated items and store sales to support programs that help people find jobs, learn new skills, and become more independent. They offer job training, career counseling, classes, and support for people rebuilding their lives -- including those who have experienced homelessness or unemployment. When I injured my foot back in August, they didn't hesitate to help me get my groceries to the car. That kind of care means a lot. I especially want to spotlight Leah, who has been with Marketplace for several years. She always assists me--whether at checkout or in any way she can--and I've noticed her helping many other customers with the same cheerful spirit. I truly look forward to seeing her and the rest of the staff whenever I shop. Just tonight, a young man named Aiden helped me load heavy cases of water into my car. He was polite and thoughtful, and I appreciated his help. Marketplace is always fully stocked, always so clean, and I've always felt valued as a customer. I believe have lady that helped me was named Carol. The pharmacy staff are always super helpful in any way that they can be. There has been a few times where my doctor called my prescription in at 5:50pm. (They close at 6:00pm) I called immediately and informed the young lady who answered the phone. (I will most certainly get her name and update this when I do so) I explained the situation and how my work hours were not well aligned with their hours and the situation was even worse because of the last minute prescription being sent ten minutes before closing. None of this was a problem for her. I informed her that I would be there by 5:55pm. She pushed the prescription through and it was waiting for me as I walked in. They have been nothing short of spectacular. As I have TRICARE insurance, I am limited on where I can have my prescriptions filled. The only reason for the four stars instead of five, is the fact that the hours are a bit short to me and they are not open on the weekends. However, I will not be going to another place anytime soon, nor would I want to with the type of service I get. Thank you to all! I highly recommend this place!

However, as I approached counter where the chicken is normally kept, all of the steam tables were empty and the only thing available were a few Pre-packaged items. Nothing I wanted in that quantity. And I was OK with that. I would just get something somewhere else. So, I started walking to the door when a rather short woman asked me if there was something I needed. I responded "I guess not" That was about 15 feet from the door. As I OPENED the door, I heard her say out loud "I GUESS NOT!" In a MOCKING type of voice... As I reopened the door, I ask "WHAT WAS THAT?" and she said she was just telling the other lady (that was ALSO standing there when I said that" what I said. I commented "NO, you were MOCKING ME" She turned her back to me and raised her voice as and said "HAVE A GOOD NIGHT" and I said YOU TOO and she yelled "GOD BLESS YOU" and I said YOU TOO. She was VERY RUDE and disrespectful. And she is not the FIRST one that has ever been short with me.. Honestly with the way this company allows this kind of behavior and allows loiters to hang out front sitting on the products like Bottled water cases (who wants to purchase a case that someone's ASS was sitting on, and even ONE of the loiters is a WELL KNOWN SEX OFFENDER, I will NEVER go back. I'll buy my fuel and drinks elsewhere. One vehicle alone that I drive holds about $90 every time I fill up and it is a company vehicle that I drive..
