Our wedding day was genuinely the best day of our lives- and we have DJ Corey to thank for that! First, Corey drove out to the middle of the woods with all of his top-of-the-line equipment in order to provide our evening entertainment. We thought we might have trouble getting someone to commit to a non-traditional wedding setting, but he heard our story and agreed to help us out! The music planning process was a breeze. After filling out our preferences a month ahead of the event, Corey contacted me the week of the wedding just to go through everything one last time- easing the mind of a very anxious bride :-) The day of the wedding, Corey was a gem. In addition to showing up early to play music for our guests, he helped coordinate with the caterers to ensure that everything ran smoothly, kept us on time, and even did small (but largely appreciated!) things like offer to refill drinks for the head table. However, the best part of the night was when the dancing started. Our dance floor was absolutely packed- the ENTIRE night. At several points in the evening, my new husband and I sat back to observe the dance floor, and we were just glowing with happiness about how great of a time our guests were having. We have heard nothing but compliments regarding the entertainment, and remarks such as "I haven't seen a dance floor that packed, and packed through the whole night, in decades!". Corey does a great job fielding requests from guests, but also is gifted in his ability to read the crowd and play whatever songs will keep them having a great time! Hello! I am a Banquet Manager and Event Coordinator for a Golf Club in Michigan. Rusch Entertainment has worked many events at the club and I knew that my husband and I HAD to have them for our wedding this past October (2014). Rusch Entertainment made the booking process and organizing so easy with their online format for music selection and it helped us to not forget anything such as bouquet toss, garter toss, etc. DJ Keith Ortiz was AMAZING! This is what i just sent to their president, who was the dj at my wedding. If I could give no stars I would. You did terrible!!!!!!!!!!!! Down to the fact that you didn't even play the right song for me, the bride, to walk down the aisle to. I am absolutely furious at this. Also, you didn't play any of the songs requested by me, the bride, to play in the reception. We spent HOURS on the phone and you LIED to me about what you were going to do. We had a song entitled Evangeline to be played for my daughter EVANGELINE and you played One Direction instead? Saying that song was for her???? You told me that your version of the longest couple dance would be short and sweet and it took up almost a half hour of my reception. You played songs you felt were best, not songs we, as the bride and groom, KNEW were best for the crowd we were hosting and spent many HOURS on the phone with you discussing. I just watched my wedding ceremony and cried because you didn't have the right song playing for me while I walked down the aisle. Who does that? I will never tell someone to hire your company. The cherry on the crap ice cream sundae that was you, at my reception was at the end you tried to get MORE MONEY from us after 2 days prior we explained you were paid in full. He shows up on time, his set up is GORGEOUS, and he plays the perfect music! Kyle wanted a band from the very beginning but after our wedding he was SO pleased with Casey. We worked with Dean for our wedding and couldn't have been happier. He was very knowledgeable, personable, and accessible in planning for the event. He ensured most of our obscure and popular requests were played throughout the night. Our crowd was not the most eager to get out on the dance floor, but when things started to die down a bit Dean was right there with a suggestion, song, or activity that got people moving again. He seemed to have the perfect next song no matter what was going on. Due to our guests not being natural dancers and many with small children, we had most of our guests leave with an hour still to go with out agreement with Rusch. Even with just the wedding party in attendence and wanting to dance the night away Dean hung in there with us, playing our requests, and tailoring the music for the rest of the night based on what reactions he was getting from us. That last hour is likely the one I will remember most fondly. We found that we didn't just hire a playlist and speakers, but someone who was very in tune with the crowd around him, and able to adapt at a moment's notice to keep the party going. We had Aaron Liversedge as our DJ yesterday for our wedding. Can we just say AWESOME?!! Aaron is who we would call the epitome of a wedding vendor. He was there much earlier than we expected him to show up and he did everything we requested without needing to be prompted. He was there to help us with anything we needed, even if it didn't fall in his purview as a DJ. He went above and beyond what is expected and I had so many guests come up and compliment what a fantastic DJ he was. There will definitely be many things that go wrong at a wedding, like ours did. You want someone like Aaron to be there for you for those types of situations. He was ABSOLUTELY the best hire we made for our wedding. He was the most helpful vendor we had and if I were to ever get married again (although I have no plans to do so), I would hire Aaron again in a heartbeat. PICK HIM! You won't be disappointed. We couldn't be more impressed with Rusch Entertainment! We had our wedding at Fox Hills Golf and Banquet center in Plymouth, MI and chose Dean to be our wedding's entertainment. I don't think we could have made a better decision. Dean is very experienced and handles his business very professionally. He was always available for questions/suggestions, had his own form to fill out for our requirements, had a music recommendation page for those times when we needed guidance, and made sure to follow up a week before the wedding to ensure everything was correct and what we wanted. Most importantly, Dean knew how to properly transition through the different portions of the reception and always kept the dance floor full and lively! We cant give him and his company enough praise for what they were able to do for our wedding. We had Casey for our May 2017 wedding at Castle Farms. He did an amazing job! DJ Kim did an amazing job at our Wedding in Tawas! The ceremony was beautiful and his timing was perfect! He brought everyone together at the reception for dancing, sing along, joy and laughter! I didn't even tell him which version of "Waltz Across Texas" I wanted and he nailed it with Ernest Tubb! My grandparents married 65 years won the longest married couple dance! My wife and I did our research when looking for a good DJ, and even with all that research, the initial stages were a bit stressful. Much of that stress was finally removed from the equation when a few of our friends referred Rusch Entertainment (and DJ Casey). I recently attended a wedding in Caseville and the DJ was Paradise Sounds - DJ Rich. I have never been so impressed by a performance. I liked his idea of releasing tables, by using the tactic of trivia. His light show was very unique, especially the curtain of lights and the flames on the sides of his show. The music was kept at a great volume all night, with the dance floor packed. He has many different types of music to appeal to every crowd. We had Ceyx play and DJ for our wedding. It was FANTASTIC! Dean did such a wonderful job and I literally have NO complaints.
