    Legend Bowl
    Sean V.

Another good time here. I got the legend bowl with chai seeds as the toppings. Good man. Healthy and sweet enough. I give it a 4 out of 5 stars because it's too expensive. Otherwise I would be here everyday.

I've now been to Rush Bowls a few times, and am impressed with the quality and service every time. Admittedly, I'm eating keto and it's a horrible option if you're avoiding carbs. . . but it's healthier than many other lunch alternatives if you aren't avoiding carbs. The shop is small, with limited indoor seating. They do however have tables and chairs out front and in the back with ample space should you choose to enjoy the nice weather when applicable. The options include a variety of 'bowls' ranging from Acai bowls (acai based obviously) to my favorite the Berry Fresh Bowl (lots of berries, frozen yogurt, granola, honey) to green options. They also have several smoothie options. Add on items include a variety of berries on top to peanut butter to the typical protein, antioxidants, etc. Bowls are VERY generously portioned, delicious, and provide ample fruits and protein options. As I said, I'm watching my carbs so they're a bit sugar heavy due to the fruits, but sometimes I just want one enough that I'm willing to ignore the carbs and just enjoy the great meal! Of note, they also have a great app to pre-order your bowl and get very picky with how each bowl is made, add and subtract ingredients, etc. - all in all it's a great option for a meal or a snack.

I went with the PB&J açaí bowl. This was my first time ever having açaí. It was pretty filling. The peanut butter was pretty thick and didn't mix well, but overall it was very good. The employees were extremely helpful and provided a few recommendations. The venue was clean and welcoming. It was set up for an efficient process from order to payment and pickup.

Berry Fresh Bowl with blueberries & chia seeds

Best smoothie bowls I've had in town! Perfect thick, smooth consistency with so much flavor! Their service was very quick and friendly. My bowl was made within 5 minutes of ordering - definitely lives up to its name. The only downside I found was that when I asked for a nut-free smoothie, they informed me that they put peanut butter in all of their blenders and could not guarantee that there would be no cross-contamination. Keep that in mind if you or your friends have allergies. My friend was really bummed out that they couldn't have a bowl with me. It would be a great idea to have a designated blender for nut-free smoothies, especially since the website boasts being allergy-friendly. All of their bowls looked gorgeous but I went with their Berry Fresh bowl with extra blueberries and chia seeds on top. It was absolutely delicious and I can't wait to come back and try the others!

I learned that at this location you do not have to give your first name for an order as I did in the Terre Haute store, they insisted on having my first name in TH - they did not insisted on giving them my name at this Bloomington. OK she said no we don't need that. We never ask for that so very odd. The same company different policies. The donut is scrumptious. The maple pecan is what I got. It is really good fresh quality made throughout the day until they close. It's worth a try if you've never tried a parlor donut.

Their donuts are good I like the variety of flavors but nothing too special. However, the minis with raspberry filling are the best things ever. I would eat them everyday if I could. Their coffee is good but average, I wish it was a little stronger. The energizers are a nice addition to the menu, the tropical one was a nice flavor. The service could be much better. Employees seem to hate their jobs and are not very friendly to be honest. The mini donuts are whats giving this place a 4 star from me

The restaurant maintains a high level of cleanliness, which enhances the overall atmosphere. The service is notably friendly, contributing to a welcoming environment; however, the establishment seems to be staffed by only one worker when I visited, which made it "busy" for the employee, when I and one other customer ordered multiple items. The açaí bowls, while fresh, are on the pricier side for what they offer, pictured is the smallest bowl they offered and was $10. I ordered two, one for each my mom and I and spent $20. Some ingredients fall short of expectations: the granola is simply dried rolled oats, lacking the typical crunch and flavor one might expect. The banana slices are thin, which might not appeal to those who prefer larger chunks for texture and taste. Additionally, the peanut butter used in the bowls has a gritty texture and lacks the rich flavor that could complement the other ingredients better. Overall, Nautical Bowls delivers on ambiance and service but could benefit from some improvements in ingredient quality and preparation to better justify its premium pricing.
