Complete SCAM. These people ask for over 700 to do an expedited passport service. I paid it. Then they ask you to do an application online which was fine. HOWEVER, for unknown reasons, they ask you to CALL to finish the application. You can't get the shipping label (which you paid for) without the phone call. Also, one of the forms they are requesting. BUT you can't get through! In fact, if you decide to endure the impossibly long wait time, eventually their system tells you that you chose to leave a voice mail (which you didn't!). THEN they say that the 'inbox' is full so that you can't leave a message. It then hangs up. SCAM! Now, I am freaking out that I won't have my passport renewed in time for my flight. I placed an order August 12th and ordered express service. I was told my passport would be returned to me in 2 to 3 weeks. I had an extremely important flight I needed to make because of a family situation and needed my renewed passport by September 12th. It has now been over one month and no sign of my passport or any update from this company. I have called them countless times. After being put on hold for nearly 2 hours I get in touch with a rep who is rude and presumptuous and says there is nothing I can do but wait. This company is running false advertising and marketing convincing clients they can expedite passports but then not deliver and have things delayed weeks. I would never ever recommend using this service. You have better luck handing yourself directly with the government. I hope I get my passport back one day...... This company went above and beyond to get my son's passport in a timely manner.There are a lot of documents to fill out on your own and they are a third party carrier service to help you expedite the process and alleviates the pressures of having to rush a passport. We applied on a Sunday via email and got process on Monday...we received our passport by Thursday of the same week, we paid a whopping $700 but it was worth it compared to the tickets we already purchased. On June 3rd Ive decided to renew my Passport through RushMyPassport agency. Ive decided to use 4-6 week choice as it aligned with my travel plans. All of the documents were sent the same day. For nearly 2 weeks documents were going through an" review " with their agency before it finally arrived on the 15 of June at government. The government passport site says it takes 4-6 weeks to process. I have called RushMyPassport and was told that 4-6 weeks listed on their website does not include 2 week review conducted by them and mail time too. So with priority mail , you are looking 8+weeks at best. I asked the lady if i can cancel my services with them and was told that should i decide to do this , this will cancel entire application process and i will have to start over and pay again the processing fee to the government . I am stuck and now forced to stay with RushMyPassport in order to hopefully one day get my passport Update - owner replied that it has taken them 3 days to mark it for a review and additional 5 days to get it to the government agency. Total 8 days wasted for additional 199 fee Update - its officially 4 weeks and the passport is not in the near sight . The government website just updated their communication that it takes 6 weeks to complete passport renewal . RushMyPassport has done absolutely zero to update/expedite the passport. If i am wrong , i will update and remove the post but so far i have a strong feeling it will not happen read more

I would give this service zero stars if I could. I never leave yelp reviews but this process has been infuriating and beyond negligent. Rush My Passport should be shut down. It is absolutely a mess, go through UPS instead. My turnaround time was meant to be 10 WEEKS, it turned into over 5 MONTHS due to processing issues out of my control. First, I submitted my application and the image was stapled in the wrong place BY THE FEDEX WORKERS packaging my application. Second, Rush my passport NEVER reached out to me. I had to call 6 weeks into the delivery time frame to get a status update on my passport processing. It took three weeks to get that issue resolved with hours of phone calls and all they did was send a new shipping label. They refused to upgrade or refund my package to a quicker turnaround or escalate my complaint to be reviewed by a supervisor. Third, after I resubmitted my new application and photo, I got an email that said the date was incorrect for my application to be processed through an automated system. BUT when going to the link provided on the email and following the instructions, there was no way of resolving the issue, nor were the instructions they provided in the email remotely correct. I was never able to speak to someone to submit an actual complaint. They said all I could do was leave a review - so here I am. I chose this service because they were affiliated with FedEx and figured it would streamline the entire passport renewal process but I still can't figure out what I paid them(over $200) for. I went into my assigned FedEx location ( which didn't have a proper camera to take a passport photo so I had to find another location in the city) and had to pay additional money to print my documents onsite, pay for my passport photo, and then had to pay the $185 to the govt for my passport. The folks at the FedEx location had no idea what or who Rush my Passort was and provided no help or assurance that the forms were done correctly. I also feel like RMP hid the fact that their fees didn't cover the actually rushed passport until after I had already paid. When I check on my RMP portal there is was update on my status and when I called they told me to check the status on the govt website(this was after 5-6 attempts where a voicemail told me no one was available and just disconnect my call). In the end I guess the money was just to have someone review my documents(????) but I'm still waiting on the govt to process everything with no certainty that things are in good order or that I'll receive my passport on time for my international trip. So far RMP seems like nothing more than an extremely worthless middleman service that actually takes more time then just submitting things directly on your own. read more

This service was a lifesaver... I truly needed to "rush" my passport! And they didn't fail. I received my passport well before time to leave. And I got my passport card 2 days later. This was an excellent service and I would recommend it to everybody. They make the process super easy as long as you don't overthink it and just follow directions. During COVID, this service is adds zero value for getting the passport processed any faster than applying directly to the state dept for expedited service. I used the service at a FedEx location thinking it had to be legit, but it cost me an unnecessary $217 on top of the passport fees. In addition, it took them 3 WEEKS to get my application to the FedEx office, mainly caused by RushMyPassport holding the application for a week, "checking" the documents. I would have been faster doing it myself. And it's shameful that none of this was disclosed by the FedEx person at the store or in the RushMyPassport paperwork. Total scam. read more

My only tiny bit of constructive criticism is that it's hard to find out when it will be sent back after the government sends it out. No tracking number was provided, so I was not sure what method or speed of service they were going to send it. Make sure to call places ahead of time to set up an appointment for an acceptance agent because it can take up to two weeks, and make sure the acceptance agent is able to do it for FedEx. read more
