The owner became hostile, raised her voice, and handled my property in a careless and disrespectful way by running outside and throwing my gun in a ditch next to the building. That level of behavior is completely unacceptable. Overall, the experience felt very unwelcoming and disrespectful. Regardless of the situation, basic professionalism and respect should be a standard in any business.

Luckily, Swim Zone came to the rescue. This shop is small and tucked away in a somewhat run-down strip of stores, but they have a good selection of swim gear for adults and children. The lady working in the store was very friendly and helpful, and I found a Dolfin brand jammers suit for my son in the clearance bin! They had a pretty good amount of kids swim stuff in the clearance bin which you just have to dig through. I was so relieved to find this little swim shop on north Fourth. It's great to find local shops in the neighborhood and not have to drive across town to an over-priced impersonal chain. I will definitely be back to Swim Zone when I need new goggles or another suit for my kids.

Although the store isn't necessarily set up for in-person shopping (it looks like they do most of their selling through e-commerce), they have their supplies ready to buy in their store. On my second visit, he sent me all the way home to fetch my chains so he could measure the hardware for the bails. I pointed out that custom bails usually follow standard conventions to accommodate normal clasps, but he insisted. When I finally returned with the necklaces, he threw a brand-new curveball: he now demanded to see the stones' certificates. When I asked why he didn't mention this before sending me home, his only response was a dismissive, "I just need to see them." I asked what would happen if these were inherited or estate stones without paperwork, and he flatly said, "Sorry, I can't help you." If a jeweler is worried about stone breakage under pressure, evaluating the gem's integrity is supposed to be their job and expertise. To spring a rigid paperwork policy on a client after making them run errands is completely unprofessional. a nasty bully who is a total waste of time.
