We had our home serviced by Russel Williams today. Both Chris C. and David D. were professional, prompt, and safe. They wore masks and washed their hands throughout the day. Needless to say, they exceeded our expectations. The windows were thoroughly cleaned both inside and out and efficiently. The work was impressive and could not have been any better! Great window cleaning, but they did not put the screens back on, rather balance them to look like they were on. Almost lost a cat over it! I have not heard from them about this, and I have a fixed two of the screens back on. One of them out of all the rest, they actually did put in. This is the problem, I'm going to have to go around the house with a ladder even though I didn't want to do that. For this reason, I would not use the service. read more

Hired this company to do our XMas lights. First year had to have them come back out a 2nd time to rehang areas that weren't right. Was told to call w/any problems or needed adjusting. Phoned several times to report the weather caused certain strings to come undone & were swinging in the wind crooked. Said they'd be by to fix it-3 times-nvr showed. Had to do it ourselves. NVR took down the clips that held up the lights-were all over our grass & gutter all year long. Went w/them a 2nd year, ONLY b/c were told we pur'd our lights the 1st year-that's why the price was so high initially. When they finally showed up for the 2nd year, had to tell the 2 installers how to place the lights like the prev year. They cldn't locate the 'placement diagram' & the lights were tangled tgthr, thrown in the plastic storage tubs. Rec'd the bill for the 2nd year & was abs blown away. Even more than the 1st & was recharged for wreaths which were reusable plastic from the prev year, & at least 5x their actual cost to buy anywhere. When I left msgs to complain & demanded the owner call me, the smart ass secretary said, "you just rented those lights-they're ours to keep-WE own them." When I became outraged & explained this went against all I was told & agreed to, she actually remarked, "well what do you want me to do about it?" Called repeatedly in 2nd year to have lights removed & when secretary finally answered, she said, "most ppl like to keep them up until at least the end of Jan & even past Valentine's." The excuses were always rehearsed & rampant. Insisted the lights be removed at once. The installers ripped them hard from our home in less than 5mins & left, w/out saying a word. Found broken bulbs, light strings & hangers on our roofline, house, in our gutters & grass & all walkways/landscaping surrounding the property. Worse, we discovered during a thorough inspection that the installers, w/out ever asking, put huge screws & screwhooks into our brand new home in many locations, causing damage. Even after telling the same girl off repeatedly, including to NVR contact us again, they continue to call our home & text my personal business cell, trying to sell more work. Our experiences w/this business were TERRIBLE. They could care less, esp once they've gotten your money. Their focus is making the next buck anyway they can & don't care what the customer thinks. Steer as far clear from this scamming business as possible! read more

I hired Russel Williams to clean windows in my house, as I got it ready for sale. They did an amazing job - very detailed and thorough. It took quite awhile to do, but they told me how long it would take and the timeline was within their expectation. One window was stuck and they weren't sure whether to pry it open or not, so they asked me. I appreciated them asking! As it turned out, they were able to open the window and do both sides. I also hired them to do Christmas lights at my new house; they did a great job with that too. The house looks just great and ready for the holidays. Nice that I didn't have to be home while they strung the lights, so very convenient too. The cost was less than I expected as well, so I'll use them again. In terms of payment, they left me the invoice as they left - couldn't be simpler. The only downside was that they're busy -- took a few weeks between the quote and the work. After waiting weeks (which I agreed to) to have this company wash my windows the two gentlemen arrived without the proper equipment. Our home needed a 40 foot ladder which the schedulers were well aware of but had neglected to pass that information on to the crew. When the crew called the office I was given another date for cleaning, about a week out, but settled on the following Saturday. On Saturday morning they called to cancel the appointment. I found them to be unreliable as well as untruthful. read more

They did a poor, poor job cleaning my windows! They did a poor job of cleaning my windows Thursday afternoon. After I looked at their work on Thursday I called and complained to Kat, who answered the phone. I even called again and sent pictures Friday morning and she said she could see what I was talking about and that her manager was mad they had done such a poor job. She assured me they would come back out and clean all the windows and do an awesome job. She said that I should do a walk around inspection and be happy before they left. They came by Friday around 2:40 and argued about how many windows needed to be redone and left. I called Kat and asked her to have the manager, she said his name was David, call me ASAP. Kat called me back to say the manager said he would look into this matter on Monday and get back to me. I will not be using Russel Williams Window Cleaning service ever again! I had your company out last Thursday to wash my windows in response to an Ad I had seen stating that 1 to 25 windows for new customers would get the first 5 windows free. That was not the case, I called the company and was told to read the " fine print " which stated that it was 26 windows. I ad in the magazine showed a graph which stated that 1 to 25 windows would get the discount. Why would you do this other than to deceive customers? This is the third time I've had Russel Williams clean my windows. This time, versus the other times, I just needed them to clean the exterior windows that were out of reach. The quality of the job was excellent, and Ryan was friendly and courteous. He also offered to clean my screens, as well as four interiors of windows that we I couldn't reach, at no extra charge. Prior to coming in, he cleaned off his ladder and took off his shoes, without me needing to ask. I would recommend this company for window cleaning. read more

This was our first time to attempt to use their services; after three contacts with them, which all went well, to confirm dates, arrival times and scope of service, the most recent one occuring 2 days before the job, we received contact from Russel Williams late in the afternoon the day before the job asking if we could reschedule 10 days later; the answer was a simple, "No", but the scheduler wouldn't accept that and challenged if there was absolutely no way. At that point I cancelled the service. I then called them back and shared that I was giving them an opportunity to fix the situation before I gave them poor reviews. While they started out okay, they became belligerent and defensive about what was said in the first call, they finally shared that their crew was ill; I said I wanted the A team, not the B team and they should have shared that information on the first call so that we would have a collaborative relationship. The defensivness and belligerence continued. They may do good work and I'll never find out, but the lack of customer service and attentiveness to detail up front leaves every impression that the work product could be suspect. read more

Please be very careful with this company. They do not stand behind their quotes. I contacted this company to hang holiday lights for us. Derick did not show up for our first appointment. When I called to inquire, he said he got tied up, and we rescheduled. The quote was higher than we expected, but I had a $45 coupon, which he promised to apply. The lights were hung, and all was fine,until yesterday when I had a very nasty young lady call and tell me we had not paid our bill. (First of all, we now know this company is not local in Colorado Springs, but actually located in MSP). We did not get the bill in the mail as expected, but I did find a copy in my email. Our coupon had not been applied. I was told that they would not apply our coupon as we were already at the minimum rate allowed. Instead of getting a call asking us when we would like them to come take the lights down, (part of the service), we are now stuck in a "he said, she said" mess. So disappointed, not only for this, but the fact they advertised in our local magazine, and represented themselves as being a locally owned company. Hired this company to hang our Christmas lights. 3 different colors, not at all what was requested. Follow-up was slow and disruptive. They also damaged one of the trees during the removal process and although they committed to remove them two weeks ago, they have only partially removed. Don't waste your time...expensive is OK if they do a great job. These guys are expensive, slow, damage your property and do nothing in response. read more
