Russ explained job/repair beforehand. He'll tell you there's only one way to do things - that's the right way! He refers to work as my doors/work and stands behind his reputation. His skills show years of experience and passion to get job done right. I'm very pleased with the belt-driven door openers (3 - they are almost silent). I opted for 1 battery backup opener because we are prone to outages. Cables, springs, and other parts of my 20-year-old garage doors were replaced. Jeff just left after repairing our garage door. One of the super strong springs broke, and it was only a job a pro could do because I've heard they can be dangerous to install. I was happy they answered the phone when I called last Saturday, as some companies are closed on weekends, and you can reach no one. It wasn't an emergency to get it repaired, so I was able to get a Thursday appointment. Kris from the office told me they would call if anything opened up earlier than scheduled, and it did the morning of. She let me know when he was directly on his way. Jeff replaced both springs, a couple cables that were frayed, and metal parts that were doomed to fail shortly. He made an old door work smoothly again! After using Russell for about 20 years! They went from very good to Crap ! They don't care if they lose a customer , Just say go ahead ,Good Bye ... I waited 4 hours today until the Tech called and said I am not Coming you need New Openers not a repair,(which I understood,they are 14yrs old ) you need to call the office and set up a new appt. which I tried to do ... when I told her I was upset wasting a half day waiting , should I get somebody else ,, I Was Told Go Ahead ! ! ! read more

We purchased a new LiftMaster door opener from this company. The LiftMaster and installation cost over $500.00. We made an appointment for 11AM-Noon. At 20 past Noon we called and asked when the were coming to install the door opener. We were advised, "He is on the way". The installer arrived some 30 minutes later. The installation was excellent. However, this door opener is MyQ enabled and the installer said he did not know how to install MyQ on my cell phone or iPad. Also, the installed had the attitude of the Grinch. read more

They just finished installing two Pella garage doors that I bought from Lowes on sale. They removed and hauled away the old wooden doors, installed the new ones and cleaned up in only 4 hours. Never showed up. Said they were coming one day between 2:00 and 4:00 ...did not show, did not call. The next morning WE CALLED THEM to ask when they were coming to fix door..They said they would be here later in morning. I called at 11:15, left a message..did not get a call back. At noon my husband called them, they said 1:00..at 1:00 we called, and they said they had two more stops before us!! and they were not nice about it...Now trying to find someone else to fix door...waiting a week to get a door fixed is unacceptable... read more

Although they did come late (past the time frame that they gave us), they were very honest in their inspection of our garage door. A competitor told us we needed new springs and some other work done, but Russell told us it was unnecessary, which saved us quite a bit of money. I'd use them again for any future garage door service needs. read more
