There is a water bottle filling station which I also appreciate. Plenty of parking. Staff was nice. Good stay.

Front desk had tea, coffee and hot chocolate a first for our honeymoon trip and personally I have never seen hot chocolate offered at a front desk before. There is also a refillable water station, which I have never seen in a hotel lobby. They have two iPad like computers in the lobby that you can print for free from. We went to our room where it looked like it was brand. New TV was huge and the room very clean. Only thing I would suggest is there's a fan blowing cold air that's moderately loud enough that you could hear it in the room slightly. Breakfast was good and there wasn't a lot of people in the breakfast room, but plenty of seating. Checking out was smooth and very easy front desk staff was very pleasant. we asked what to see around the area of Cornwall and they gave us some suggestions in Ottawa along with the housekeeping staff. Marci's hubby quoted my mom the "wrong price" and since my mom "wasn't paying enough" she was refused any services or accommodations offered to regular visitors such as toilet paper, clean towels, clean sheets and regular room cleaning. These rooms are not worth the 800$ a week price rate. The beds are uncomfortable, the shower is small and the water pipes bang again the wall every hour on the hour. Marci also basically bullied and harassed my mom every night when she came home from working long days begging for the money from my moms company. All in all you'd be better sleeping in your car.

The bed is comfortable with even more comfortable pillows. The TV has more channels than any hotel I have stayed at before and has a TV guide. Free wifi and many outlets to use for whatever. The water pressure is great and can get super hot or super cold. The alarm clock also has USB outlets. The lighting is great and has a full length mirror so is easy to get ready in. They have chairs outside on the little porch that wraps around the motel so you can sit outside and enjoy the weather. There is a 7-11 and gas across the street so anything you may need last second is walking distance away. Katie who is one of the owners with her husband live on site and readily available. I did all my booking with Katie through text and she was very responsive and informative. She is super friendly and makes sure you have everything you may need. They have free ice too. Lastly it is very affordable. We loved it here so much we already booked our next stay in a couple weeks and plan on this being our go to motel when we come up north.

Apparently they had problems with some people from the school so they are tarring all the students - even professionals in their 30s like my husband - with the same brush. He went last night with a group from the school and was treated very rudely by management. His group wasn't unruly (couldn't be since a limit on drinks exists for students) and he was served overdone chicken wings that would have best served as dog treats. They won't tell you about the 2-drink limit they've imposed on students until you have ordered because they want your money. They should really just put a sign on the door stating that they don't want business from the school, but they won't do this because they are a business in a small town and need all the money they can get - however they will treat you terribly when you get there so don't bother going. Treating all students from the school as if they had the same personality as the one guy who they had issues with is a discriminatory business practice and these owners deserve all the blowback they can get from being rude to students at the school. Maybe as penance they can try eating some of their overcooked chicken wings.
