He delivered pleasant images that captured our happy family in a great springtime setting. The photo shoot was fun and we all felt good throughout the shoot. My 6-year-old granddaughter even asked him to take a special picture of her holding a flower she picked and he was great with her. The picture is so cute! Coordinating with hiim was fairly easy since I don't live in the state so we had to work through email. We are enjoying the pictures from this special occasion. Michael was good to work with after the shoot to edit some pictures to focus on certain people. The only drawback, and maybe this is a lesson learned for me, was to check out his pricing before agreeing to the shoot. In my past experience with other photographers at other places in the country, the prints and digital copies were much less expensive. I didn't check this out before hand - oops. He also inadvertently didn't provide his price sheet before the shoot, which he should have. That limited what the family could afford. From what I have been told, he is about mid-range for the area. Michael worked with me to make sure our family was satisfied. Overall, he was great to work with, organized, pleasant, and conscientious in working with us to our satisfaction.

Ang and Jen made sure they got every angle and every person in a photo. They took several cake and ring photos to choose from. They both worked well with family groups to make sure everyone was seen in the photo and the action shots are hilarious! In a good way of course, it's amazing what a camera can catch. I swear could be found in a magazine. Let me back up and give specifics.. I met Kateri after finding her on YELP when another studio decided to close before my "bump popped".. trusting the other two reviews I reached out and left a message on Yelp and she answered within an hour. We met for coffee and talked over the logistics of the shoot and we scheduled for the first week of January. From September to shoot time we emailed and texted different lightening and pose ideas. When the day finally came I was ecstatic! Originally I wanted "snow shots" where fresh snow was falling but without the cooperation of weather we made the theme black and white and super sexy--- I do mean SEXY! I absolutely adore how she was super open to my vision; one that I did not see in her portfolio and would be considered risqué but heck.. I'm carrying life! I've never felt more liberated. This was about two hours with six outfit changes and a dozen or so snaps; some even included the hubs!!! About two weeks later hubs and I piled into Kateri's studio again and has the photo shoot reveal! I couldn't believe the outcome.. I looked like a confident, glowing, happy, SEXY first time mom! We selected a couple of special prints and are anxiously waiting for their arrival. I am more than positive we will use Kateri for additional services especially for new baby shots! Olivia did not take any photos of our CEREMONY and provided many blurry/grainy photos. Olivia delivered our photos late, and gave us no communication, I actually had to reach out to her after the delivery date to see where they were and she didn't get back to me until a week later. Olivia has given us so many ridiculous excuses as well as changed her story/reasoning for things multiple times. Olivia has continued to provide awful communication, ignoring our emails for weeks at a time, on several different occasions. After months of trying to come to a resolution, Olivia has only offered us a $150 refund out of the $2,500 we paid her. All while claiming she did her job to the best of her ability. We will never have photos of the most important part of our wedding to share with friends and family. I am surprised at how many good reviews she has, the service we received has been so poor it seems almost impossible to believe other reviews. I have went back and forth on leaving this review, but if I am able to save just one couple from having to deal with this catastrophe it will be worth it. To add to it all, if we want to fight to get our money back we are going to have to take her to small claims court. When we first got engaged, I think booked her a week into planning and never looked back. We immediate felt so comfortable with her and were amazed by her talent. My parents thought we were a little nuts by spending so much money on wedding pictures, but now they understand. I have gotten so many compliments on the moments she captured and it seems like every day, I find a new favorite picture. We got around 1300 pictures back from our day and it took around 7 weeks to get them all. It was worth every cent we spent and minute we waited to see them. I wish we had more wall space in our house to display more of them. So many just look more like art than screaming "This is us on our wedding day!!!". Which is exactly what we wanted.
