When I was a sophomore/junior in high school, I attended C2 because my parents thought they could…read morehelp me with my ACT scores. Every time I took the ACT while taking the classes, I maintained the same score even after several months. Reading and science were my weaker subjects but the classes didn't seem to help. When I took the SATs, I got an 800 in math but C2 seemed to take credit even though math is my strongest subject. I still did pretty bad on Reading and Writing. Ironically it wasn't until I left C2 that I increased my ACT score by two points. Once I got accepted to a university (after I left), they would call me and ask what university I got accepted to and seemed to take credit for that as well - probably to add to their statistics. Overall, it was a waste of money, and my parents and I agreed we should've never signed up. yes, the teachers were nice, but I literally did not learn anything substantial or was able to apply any knowledge learned for these classes. I had a friend also attend C2, and he agrees. Do yourself a favor and just buy some practice books. You'll save thousands of dollars.

The teachers were warm and patient (regardless of the level of the student), and they always had an answer to my questions. The intimate environment really made me feel that my success was a primary goal to the program. Along with the books we received for homework and practice tests, we got a binder that had so many different helpful hints and tricks that I used when I took my test (and my test results confirmed...they definitely work). My kids love the motivational incentives they can earn, and really work hard for the incentives. There's nothing rote or boring about the way Mathnasium teaches math.
