I'm a naturalist nerd and delighted in the fact that she is too, as we kept pausing to exclaim over beach-combing finds and incorporating things like sand dollars and peeling madrona bark into our photos. She did an excellent job balancing our requests for certain backdrops and types of shots with her own professional suggestions, and we couldn't be happier with how the photos turned out! During that first meeting, Stephanie made sure to walk through the general look and feel of what she'd be doing during our wedding. We went over a pretty comprehensive list of family/group shots that we wanted, and she assured us that the day was going to be special. When she showed up for the day of the wedding, she was prepared and professional and definitely knew how to handle two anxious grooms who were running around making sure everything was good for the festivities. My partner and I just let Stephanie take the reins for how our photos were done, and I'm sure she would have preferred a *little* guidance, we're so glad we did, because her ideas were better than anything we could have come up with. Also, having that list of group shots was so important, because it made taking pictures with all of our family and friends fly by. As for the ceremony and reception, Stephanie was adept at blending in/not being noticed while capturing all the memories we could hope for.
