This is my favorite anywhere. (In fact, when I had moved away for a few months, it was one of the things I most missed from here!) I like that they have mostly higher-quality items which are always clean and usually scent-free. (I can't shop at stores like Goodwill anymore since everything seems to be sprayed with something which leaves a scent.) I am very knowledgeable about different brands and what their retail costs are, and for the time that I have been going to the store (mid-2020), they have priced their items perfectly (and at a small fraction of their retail costs). I have found the prices to be extremely competitive and accurate! (I can't say the same about another charity thrift store in the county that does overprice and misprice--but never here.) I have also found them to have an outstanding manager, staff, and volunteers. I was truly baffled by "WorldView's" an "It's Maia N.s" reviews below since what they described was the complete opposite of my experience in about every way, plus there aren't new "owners" since this is a charity store run by and benefitting Seattle Children's Hospital.

They have a variety of items such as enamel pins, toys, clothing, charms, books, art, and more. All at pretty reasonable prices as well! The lady working there is super friendly and approachable. It's a very large store, but it feels very DIY/shabby inside. Items haphazardly thrown up on found shelving, not retail shelving, or anything like that. Kind of like a vintage mall booth. The employees I interacted with were meh. Not outright rude, but not very friendly either. One of them rushed over to me from across the store to admonish me for "stepping over that line" between items for sale and items not-ready for sale. I had not touched one item in the area at all. It was weird. I didn't even realize that area was for processing, because my brain just goes into "look at everything" mode when I'm thrifting, and in 99.9% of thrift stores, the actual selling floor is not used for processing. They weren't mean about it, just had a very elevated sense of urgency that I not touch anything in that area. I apologized and they seemed to back off a little. Like I said, it was weird. I did find a couple glass decor items to purchase and their prices seemed fair. I didn't look at clothes, but shoes and bags were slim pickings the day I was in there. I might check it out again in the future, but there was nothing about it that made me feel like I wanted to come back. Kind of a bummer. Maybe after they've been open longer, they might get more of a sense of organization. In the mean time, I will continue to shop Deseret and Bella's Voice.

I wandered the entire shop, except for the clothing racks. Nicely laid out, organized, and clean. I ended honing in on a vintage Tupperware set and due to the affixed sticker color, received a great buy. Upbeat service at the checkout counter too. The joy of thrifting is finding the unexpected.

Parking is tight, so you may have to loop around once or twice and take note of their drop off times if making donations. My only (minor) gripe is with one of the staff members, a blonde lady, who can be fairly rude about what you're donating. My wife and I gave a Cuisinart appliance, a DeWalt cordless drill, a few odds and ends, and a pair of Wolverine work boots. The stink face she made at the boots was insulting. Before I could tell her what a used pair typically runs, she tossed them in a bin and made a bee line elsewhere. Sad. Just a week earlier, I took a few items in and everything went great with different person who was extremely appreciative.

I've only ever bought vintage equestrian books after being in half a dozen times. Would stop if you like to thrift and don't mind the lack of ambiance. Perhaps their new store location might be a little different...not sure where that's going to be though.
